I haven't used a move in cleaning service before and searched on Yelp. Yelp helped me reach out to several business and JLK Cleaning was one of them. Yelp has a guarantee if you use the feature you could get reimbursed if you are not happy with the service. I was really happy and plan to use them again! Although JLK Cleaning didn't have many reviews I decided to go with them for several reasons. 1. Great Communication: The owner Michael had great communication. He would respond in a timely manner. I communicated with him through Yelp, text and phone. 2. Timing: My family is currently going through a lot of transitions. We were aiming to purchase a home in the summer when our kids were off from school. It didn't work out that way so I'm grateful for this type of businesses. 3. Oven: The biggest reason I wanted to get a move in cleaner was because of the oven. Michael did admit it was pretty bad but they could handle it. Michael and Ricky ended up cleaning our home and they did a great job! 3. Affordable rate: Thanks to a feature on Yelp I was able to reach out to several business. I could send multiple business pictures and information. It saved me a lot of time. 4. Availability: There were a few businesses that matched or less than the estimated rate than JKL Cleaning rate but they were able to fit us in the soonest. 5. Before and After pictures: Most of the pictures are from the business owner, but having that Yelp guarantee helped me decide to go with JKL Cleaning. 6. Great customer service from start to finish: Good communication. Services were explained and fulfilled. They did a walk through when they were done with my husband and son and explained what they did. Overall, I would recommend JLK Cleaning. We used JLK Cleaning for a deep clean service. Michael was friendly and made our 3 bed 2.5 bath house looked brand new in about 6ish hours. The service included carpet cleaning, dusting, oven and fridge cleaning, and mopping. You're able to walk through with him afterwards and request any remaining areas/spots to be cleaned if you're not satisfied. Definitely great value! I hesitate to write this review, but after so many details were missed, I feel as though I have to. TLDR: they showed up late, did not bring a ladder as previous reviews stated, vacuum was filled with dirt, mop was dirty. They did not dust the fans, they did not clean the bathroom after I asked for a deep clean- the shower wasn't cleaned and neither were the counter tops. They didn't take out trash, they actually left the dirty towels in the trashcan. They left after 2 hours telling me they had another client to get to. I'm confused how I paid $125 an hour for a job I could've done. Super disappointed. Details: I saw the positive reviews on yelp and was excited to try a cleaner out. I have never paid for a cleaner because I always clean myself, but have been overwhelmed with life and wanted to try to off load a bit. I reached out via Yelp and they were very responsive! When we solidified a date and time, I never received a follow up asking for my address- weird. I followed up again and then they got my address. The day of, I told them I reserved a parking space and sent them the info. They called half an hour before they were supposed to be there letting me know they were on their way- I was stoked! Then the time they were supposed to arrive came and went. I reached out checking in. They shared they had to "charge up" and would be right up. They finally called when they arrived almost forty minutes after they were supposed to arrive. They did not have a ladder or step stool as others mentioned. Their vacuum was filled with dirt, the mop was brown, and they did not take off their shoes when they came in. They had their shoes on the entire time, which just grosses me out in general. I emptied the bathroom trash out of each bathroom before they arrived, as I didn't think they should have to see all that, haha. But instead of taking out the trash out of the bathrooms, they added to it! There were dirty paper towels left in each trash can and the dirt from the vacuum- which is fine, just take it out before leaving! The kitchen trash wasn't taken out either. There was dirt in the kitchen sink, and the counter in the bathroom was sticky. I will say, the toilets were cleaned wonderfully! The floors were mopped too. The ceiling fans are still filthy, which if this is extra, okay. Just give me a heads up. I didn't want to write a bad review and just let it go, but when I got in the shower, there was gunk all under the shampoo bottles, so it was never cleaned. I asked for a deep clean, so this is just disappointing. It was one thing after another. They did a "walk through" with me before they left where I saw the surfaces they dusted which looked great, but after they left, I saw so many things that were missed. They also told me they were running late to their next appointment, which gives me pause because you only planned to be here two hours when I asked for a deep clean? I also had the house in order for them to arrive, so that they could use that time to clean deeply, so I'm confused what happened. I will say, the person was very kind, it just was not worth $250. read more

He did a deep clarning of the house after some construction we had done so everything was dirty. He brings his own ladder so he is able to reach high places. I needed 2 bathrooms cleaned. 1 bathroom had mold growing in the shower and the toilet also mold and the surrounding floor. It was so dirty and gross. The other bathroom was not as bad as the first but still dirty. I looked at several cleaning services on Yelp and checked out each website and JLK stood out to me. Most likely because their website was clean and minimal. I booked my appointment with Michael through the site. online chat. He was quick to respond. I mainly asked if they cleaned moldy bathroom, he said yes, and I booked. I generally like to meet the in person before I hire someone , but something told me that he was going to do a great job. I communicated with by chat, text, and a brief conversation over the phone to give me a status and to send some pictures. He showed up on time and ready to clean, I was not there to see him do his magic, but when I saw the before and after pictures I was astounded and couldn't believe that the shower that was once covered by mold was now white and cleaned . He also got rid of the cobwebs and wiped down the sink and fixtures, as well as the floors. He did an amazing job! it showed me that he was hard working and meticulous about his work. I'm very glad that I chose JLK Cleaning, it was money well spent. I will hire JLK again for my next cleaning job, our house really needs a thorough cleaning soon.
