DM Affordable…read moreCustom Painting (Manuel @ 619-339-4800) just finished painting the exterior of my 100+ year old craftsman house (that was in pretty bad shape) and it looks phenomenal! There was lots of peeling paint that needed to be scraped off, and many areas that needed lots of extra priming and patching, as well as a board that needed to be replaced. The attention to detail, steady and detailed workmanship, tidiness and professionalism of the crew blew me away. They were friendly, polite and professional when spoken to but otherwise kept to the painting. The two men were at my house for 2 weeks, but were so quiet and respectful of my privacy and space while I worked at home, I almost forgot they were here. They didn't leave a trace when they were finished ... not a speck of paint or trash anywhere, and were careful not to trample the plants around the house! I'm not used to being this impressed. Truly an awesome experience. Manuel, the owner, was great to work with, provided an affordable and fair price, especially for true custom painting. There were no additional charges for small repairs and he provided a port-a-potty for his men at no charge to me. He also helped me with colors, which turned out exactly like I wanted, and stopped by several times throughout the project to see if I had any questions. I'm posting this review in several places because I was so pleased with the experience that I hope anyone looking for a painter finds this review and gives Manuel a call. Then they turned out to be less expensive than the other guys as well. They didn't ask me to pay in advance for the paint, and just showed up on the agreed-upon date, made a few minor repairs, then painted the giant big room and left. (it was a 40x17 foot room, painting the walls & ceiling all the same color.) No paint damage anywhere. No complaints from the staff about issues. Just a solid paint job at a reasonable price. A friend referred us to Andres / extreme painting after I had mentioned that I needed some work…read moredone. My wife and I wanted to paint the interior of our home and also have our kitchen cabinets sanded down and painted. The job was finished a little over 2 years ago. The kitchen cabinets are chipping and cracking everywhere. I called Andres back to the house to take a look and confirm that this should not be happening. He has made plenty of excuses and has gotten extremely defensive. I have had numerous contractors in my home since this job was finished and every one of them said the cracking/chipping is because of the lack of sanding prior to painting. To put it lightly, Andres has acted extremely unprofessional in multiple interactions and I would not refer him to anyone. Wouldn't be shocked if he has a pretty clever response to this, showcasing his defensive attitude. Please see before and after pictures below and you be the judge. Hired for dry wall repair. They were responsive and results were good but found a few things i did…read morenot appreciate It was a ~3 hour job between two workers. They asked to use my personal bathroom a few times which i found odd as i have hired several contractors who worked longer hour jobs who never asked to use my bathroom before. I also found them using my kitchen sink to watch their rags, which really peeved me because they did not ask for my permission first. They left my place a mess, left several supplies in my garage without letting me know in advance that someone would not pick it up till the following day. They left for the day without letting me know they were finished, which was an inconvenience as i wasn't sure if i should stick around or wait for them to come back. I only found out later through email that the job was done. Will not be hiring again
