The pizza is always excellent. But the service sometimes is not. I know they're a busy place and that's expected when there's a lot of orders coming in and deliveries to be made. But I should still expect to get the right order and way too often I get the wrong food, but at least they usually make it right by immediately cooking the right food. It just isn't fun to have to make two trips. There is no table seating it's carry out only. read more

Great food in Wisconsin and a lot of people from Pirates cove says it's the best pizza place in Wisconsin other than Dominos or pizza hut which I agree. I got a calzone and it was great. I had them put Sausage, onions and mushrooms in it. I got 2 things of marinara for it. Great job everyone their. I recommend it to everyone. I will always order from them. Their ravioli is great to. We order from them regularly and the pizza is fantastic. My husband also loves the caesar salad and the ranch dressing on house salad is delicious. We have also tried italian beef and wings and also great. Food is usually ready to pick up in half an hour, and delivery is also available. One of our go-to places in Delavan. Ordered a pizza tonight was told by the young female who answered that it would be 45 min after an hour I called them to find out where my pizza was. A very rude man was given the phone when I inquired where my prepaid pizza was he said oh no the roads are bad and we never quote for 45 min always 45 min to an hour. I had been a loyal customer of this restaurant until tonight instead of explaining calmly that the roads are bad and that the pizza was on its way. Instead this guy argued with me that it wasn't an hour already and that you know what ... we're not even going to deliver out there tonight. Umm I prepaid for my pizza ....... We are cancelling your delivery and hung up the phone on me. I have order from this establishment for over 14 years always gotten my pizza within 30-45 min even in the worst snow storms. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN! I thought last Friday when this same guy snapped at my husband when he went in to pick up a pizza was a fluke. And even when they made the pizza wrong my husband was told they don't make mistakes . My husband is allergic to cheese and his pizza had cheese on it . So you don't make mistakes? Eh. I suppose Vesuvio's filled the need of "is there someone nearby who will bake cheese and tomato sauce on bread and deliver it to me?" As far as the pizza goes though, this was really nothing special. Just straightforward, thin crust pizza cut into squares. Ingredients were fine. Price was slightly on the high side of average, costing $41 for two large and one small pizzas. What really got to us though was that there was only one pepperoni on top of the small pepperoni pizza. I will probably try elsewhere for pizza delivery next time in Delavan. read more

My hubby and I wanted Itallian food, and we didnt actually know you could not eat inside till we got there. We ordered lasagna and eggplant parm...the lasagna was very good! I did not like my dish though! The owner was very friendly and helpful and easy to talk with. He was working all alone and I thought did a great job considering that! We took the food to go but had to order and return in an hour to get it. Now this isnt a big deal because we werent in a hurry-ORDER AHEAD! Its worth trying out and it is homemade original itallian food with yummy rich sauces the way they are supposed to be..We like to always give local places a try to many franchises these days! read more

I cannot believe the response we got, from the owner, when making a simple request on an item frequently ordered. Apparently the effort to put the celery and dressing that comes with their hot wings in a separate container, is too much for them to handle. Their food delivery is super hot, so the ranch (they don't have bleu cheese) curdles and the little plastic containers melt. The celery is beyond limp. When we refused the order and told the super nice delivery guy to tell management that our request is so simple, yet every single time they get it wrong. Ten minutes later, we received a phone call, from the owner, who proceeded to rant to the point that I could hear him on a friend's phone, standing twenty feet away. Here are some of the highlights: "Go f*** yourself tough guy!" "Don't order from here anymore." Wow. Just wow. Since then, a former delivery driver said "If you ever saw the inside of the kitchen, you'd never order from there again." We won't. read more

Having a party? GET THE PARTY PIZZA! It's 18" by 16" and will feed a very large group, not to mention it's delicious. I have only had their pizza so I really cannot comment on anything else that they serve. My one complaint is that you have to pay full topping price if you only want a topping on half a side. For instance if you want half sausage and half peperoni you will pay for two whole toppings as appose to one like most other pizzerias do. read more

I ordered the Special on a Sunday which was a Lrg Veggie pizza I ordered mine without tomatos and I had to try the slice of cheese cake . Price was pretty good so I was pleasantly surprised how delicious this pizza was!! OMGG you must try this pizza! it was still hot when delivered!! I will for sure order again!! This place has good pizza and is fairly priced as well. The large is a bit small though, only 14". We are from Chicago area and used to a much larger large. All in all it is good Za. We asked several locals for the best around and everyone said Vesuvios Little Italy. The supreme is excellent if you like veggies. read more

Brian delivered my food as quick as he could in the first snow storm in Wisconsin. He was also really funny. The chicken strips are real chicken strips. They seem like fresh cut chicken. The pizza sauce has a well balance taste of ingredients and the crust is golden crispy. If you are in the area for a night and want good pizza, you found it. Grass fed burgers are delicious as well. An improvement could be not getting soggy fries with it. Make them extra crispy when they are to go could be a solution. I have been ordering from Vesuvios for years but last night I was treated so rudely by a worker and owner and will never ever spend my money at Vesuvios again!! My pizza was delivered and it was wrong when I called them to get it corrected I was called a LIAR! I informed them to send their driver back to get the pizza and they could see for themselves! I always order the same pizza and my pizza wAs missing topping I requested extra of. They insisted they put it on with extra however they did not! I cannot believe how I was called a liar and how they made me feel like I was trying to get something for nothing!!! I order usually once a week and spend on the average $50.00 and I always tip the delivery man 30% minimum. I will never order from Vesuvios again you don't treat customers like that and especially repeating customers!!! Oh yeay and the pizza I got the crust tasted like cardboard!
