Got two boxes. 1st box of 3: Double dark chocolate, dark chocolate espresso, dark chocolate salted caramel. 2nd box of 3: Double dark chocolate, dark chocolate raspberry, dark chocolate mint. A bag of salt taffies. Just under $80 Would have liked a dark chocolate with Irish cream or maybe French vanilla for my mom. The raspberry, mint and double chocolate are tasty. You can really smell the chocolate goodness wafting from the store. They were letting a new batch cool some on the counter.

Of all the fudge shops on Mackinac, we keep coming back to Joann's because of their unbeatable customer service. Most fudge shops on the island aren't dog friendly, but the staff were quick to welcome our golden retriever in and give him some pets. An employee was working a new batch of fudge on one of the marble cooling tables, and he offered us a sample while we watched. And this was a BIG sample, not just a sliver like when you ask for samples at some other places. The fudge at Joann's is also top quality; it's very moist and not too "grainy" in texture. We'll definitely be back when we visit Mackinac again!

Cute, old fashioned themed shop. So many amazing flavors of fudge to choose from. They offered small tastes of anything you wanted so we tired about three diff kinds and settled on the raspberry chocolate fudge. So sweet and so good. Fudge will last about 2 weeks and won't melt. I'm pretty sure our fudge won't last for longer than 2 weeks anyway before we eat it up. Staff was great. The person making the fudge answered a few of our questions. Great stop.

I went here with my best friend this month. She found some chocolate fudge and was so excited about it. It's a very cute shop but once again they didn't make the chocolate peanut butter fudge without nuts so I didn't end up getting anything. Staff was very pleasant as well

One of the few fudge shops that actually greeted me as I walked in (wasn't busy) and offered a sample. We ended up buying their fudge because it tasted the freshest and not overwhelmingly sweet. I'll be coming back again! Also, their shop also smelled the best for that matter. Some other ones had a burnt smell or weird sweet smell

Mouthwatering fudge! Although I have never visited Joann's Fudge in person, I ordered online. Their Instagram always shows fresh fudge being made and I had to experience the hype. Wow. Wow. Wow! Ordered on Monday, fudge was delivered Thursday, and I can tell just how fresh it is by the taste. I ordered a box of four different flavors I was able to choose myself: chocolate cherry, chocolate raspberry, chocolate and chocolate cookie crunch. All were a hit in our home! If you are looking for delicious, fresh fudge, order online. You WON'T be disappointed!

Sweet sweets. You can't go wrong with sweets. The fudge was okay. Mind you, I've been all over in New Orleans. Savannah, I've really had some good fudge. The fudge was okay but let me just say the ice cream was way better. So try the ice cream. Try all the samples and then get what you want. Get a cone and enjoy it. The fuzz was just a okay for me. The service was great. Everybody was very helpful. Everybody was very welcoming. I mean it's cool if you've never seen him make fudge and how they lay it out That's great. I've seen that but again the fudge was just really okay but the ice cream the cashew brittle was right on point! Did I say the cashew brittle was on point? Well it was. I really never had cashew brittle and I'm a fan of cashews really enjoyed it. Go sample everything

My boyfriend's brother sent him some fudge when he was visiting Mackinac Island. I didn't think I would like fudge until I tried this local treat. This Mackinac Island fudge is so smooth and creamy with a good texture. We made sure we would make a stop at the confessionery store on our trip to Mackinac Island. Here we are. There are a lot of confessionery stores on the main street and they let you sample their fudge. They all have good fudge with a little bit different variety in flavors. After checking out a few of them, we finally ended up with JoAnn's because I liked the flavors that they had. Inside the store, you can see them making fudge on marble slab tables. The flavors that we took home are Double Dark Chocolate Expresso and Orange Truffle. We also got some chocolate truffles and salt water toffees that I just couldn't resist.

Well, you're S.O.L., my friend. Luckily, my kids like ice cream, so we headed to Sanders because it was basically across the street from our hotel. They got a milkshake and a scoop of chocolate ice cream in a cup (their standard orders), and they were happy with their treats. But if you're looking for some other kinds of ice cream treats, they also have sundaes and things of that nature. Sanders also has a whole case of chocolate goodies, like peanut clusters, coconut clusters and pecan clusters (they seem to like their clusters here); chocolate-covered Rice Krispie Treats; truffles and peanut butter cups and toffee; caramel apples; and lots more. Oh, and fudge. But honestly, I would get fudge somewhere else that isn't a chain. There are lots of fudge places on the island. That's the thing: Sanders is a chain. But it's a Michigan chain, and originated in Detroit, so it's kinda local. Nevertheless, it's a good place to pop into to find something sweet to eat.

The popcorn looks decent, not sure if they would be good enough to last for my team next week though. Ended up grabbing a bite or of water and chamomile brewed tea with carbonated water in a can. $7.60

Open area to see where they make their sweet treats. Staff are friendly and we chatted with one staff who said she has worked there season after season. Tons of fudge, ice cream, sweet treats, and freshy made waffle cones. I went with the pumpkin ice cream in a waffle bowl and it was heaven! The ice cream so smooth and rich. The waffle bowl was churchy and sweet. It hit the spot! Also got some fudge and it was just as delicious!

Kilwin's is a Michigan staple that I absolutely LOVE! I live closest to both their Ann Arbor and Plymouth locations, which are the ones I frequent the most, but often times they run out of their Mackinac Island Fudge flavor. I was so glad it was in stock on Mackinac Island AND that this Kilwin's was the largest Kilwin's I've been to yet! There are live fudge demos that you can watch, along with their entire "kitchen" area looking like it's out in the open so you can watch the workers hard at work! They have a massive selection of so many different sweets and treats - so many more offerings than I've ever seen at another Kilwin's too! It was a *treat* to see and always a MUST VISIT stop whenever you find yourself on the island! Love you, Kilwin's! :D
