Hospitality. Ok food for a truck stop. Lots of locals come here. Good staff! I've ate here several times.

Absolutely horrible. It was freezing cold in there. The food came out all at one Steak was fat, gristle and raw...send it back TWICE Waitress took my friends drink and dumped it into my glass and said she'd be right back with fresh refills...never came back I had a side of turnip greens and asked for hot sauce, it never came but the greens were inedible anyway After the second recooking of the same steak...my husband said he lost his appetite They charged us for the entire meal and when my husband said he wasn't paying fir his because he didn't eat it....they threatened to call "the law" Don't even get me started on the lack of masks in the kitchen, the cook touching her face...just no..unacceptable Oh....and no apology...just crap. Stop here whenever I'm passing through town. Typical southern style truck stop. Staff is great, food is pretty decent. I'm on the road for months at a time and it's nice to have a sit down meal that is not fast food. Will be back. read more

I got the soup and salad. The soup was beef stew. It was ok. Salad bar was typical standard stuff. My husband had the hamburger steak with onion rings. He said it was good. The patty was very substantial. Our son had grilled chicken tenders with fries. He said they were good. The fries were cold and not eaten, he was given banana pudding for consolation. He said it was good. Other patrons ate from the buffet and seemed to enjoy it. Overall it was an okay lunch for the price. It was better than fast food. read more

This a great place to eat. Home cooked meals open 6AM to 10pm. Breakfast anytime and and thing on menu is available most the time. Have a breakfast bar on Saturday morning 6amtill 1030 am. Chocolate gravy on Saturday and Sunday morning. Have a lunch buffet everyday of the week starts 11am to 8pm. Meats vegetables desserts bread all you can eat in dining room 7.95. Add salad bar 1.95. Sunday's the salad and hot bar is 8.95 all you can eat. Come on out to eat with us great place to eat and enjoy everyone there. It's all non smoking. Great employees and have a cook been there 20years and a waitress that has been there 36years . It's a great place. And right beside the restaurant is Arnold's Truck Stop. They are great people and very friendly. They are and gas station that will pump your gas and check everything under your hood of your vehicle. Both business is owned by Jimmy Arnold. So come on by and eat and get your vehicle filled up by so very friendly people. read more

Hmmm, should have walked out when I got the whiff of cigarette smoke, but I thought, try it, food may be good. Lots of locals here. Wrong! Gravy tasted like canned type. Sausage in it didn't help improve flavor. Bacon was even tasteless! Now how does bacon not have a good taste? I can't figure that one out. The pancakes were okay, but the buttery gunk on it was not. Scraped it off. Won't eat here again. Not just because of poor quality and tasteless food, but also the smoking. Have a smoke free section, but there's nothing separating the areas but half walls. Ceiling fans spread the smoke all around. Not a good experience, but the waitress was friendly at least. read more

The service and food was TERRIBLE. To start wait staff seemed to be racist. They too drunk order and food order then never returned until food was delivered ( about 30 minutes later). I called another waitress to check and was told it was coming. The French fries were cold and the patties melt was Luke warm. WHAT A WAIT OF TIME AND MONEY! read more

I have been looking looking for a good sit-down restaurant to replace Waffle House for my Saturday/Sunday morning breakfasts. I think I have found it at Jody's. I had the Jody Omlet and it was great. The eggs were very light & fluffy and stuffed to the max with ingredients & the hash browns were perfect, crispy on one side & tender on the other. Definitely all you want to eat. To top it off, the prices are very reasonable, with good & friendly staff. read more

If you like country cooking this is an excellent place to stop. You will find items like chicken and dressing, turnip greens, corn, green beans, mashed potatoes, and hot corn bread and rolls plus plenty more. Excellent place for Sunday lunch as it packs the crowd in after church. Family owned and a lot of truckers eat here so you know the food must be good. read more
