He repaired my clock that hadn't worked in many years. Gave us advice on how to keep it running correctly. It took some time but worth the wait. Very nice couple. Will answer any questions you have.

I've taken all my watches here to either get the band adjusted to battery replacements. Fast friendly service at a very reasonable price.

Ask the Community - Joe's Clock & Watch

    Battery charge price?

The price depends on the type of watches. I think it's around $10-25 maybe more for expensive ones

    Do they service grandfather clocks?

I was in the shop today and they had grandfather clocks in there. They may have been for sale only and there’s no indication of this place doing on site service. Best to call.

They replaced the battery, cleaned the inside, and put on the new band while I waited - 10 minutes max.

They answer my questions. It doesn't matter if it is in person or via phone, I have never had a bad encounter with anyone working here. To take off links from my watch is around $20 bucks. I do remember it being cheaper but then again that was ten years ago. They don't just do link removal. This also do a whole lot of repairs for batteries and such for automatic watches. The biggest buy I had from them was to get my automatic watch fixed. They said it would be done in a week and it was so. 5/5

It was mine not theirs. The lady clerk did not greet me or stop yapping with a customer about a lunch suggestion. Something about Mexican food. I was standing there for a full 8 minutes. A REAL jeweler will add your links back on free of charge. These scammers charged $20 for a battery and $26 for adding links. Almost $50 charge for barely any work done. NEVER AGAIN. Avoid avoid avoid. Then she had the nerve to try and sell me some pretentious Bulova clock on the wall. Nobody wants that stuff. There is a cute old school jewelry place by Baskin Robbins in Martinez that my family usually goes to $10.95 for battery and free link adjustment. That place puts this one to shame.

Unfortunately, Jomashop's so-called 2-year warranty was a complete joke--way too many exclusions to be useful. Based on this experience, I would never buy a watch from Jomashop again. I took the watch to a large jeweler/watch store in Walnut Creek and was quoted $600, which felt like a total ripoff. Thankfully, I found Richard through Yelp--and what a blessing that turned out to be. He is incredibly friendly, professional, and clearly knows his craft. He took the watch apart and walked me through each component, even showing me the exact part that was broken. That level of transparency really gave me confidence. It took about a week to get my watch back since he had to order the part, but the pricing was very reasonable, and I honestly feel like I got a great deal. On top of that, he even removed a link from my other watch for free. I can confidently say I've found my watchmaker. Highly recommend Richard to anyone looking for honest, skilled, and fair watch repair.
