Except maybe the green grape which was good, but not my favorite. The matcha affogato is my go to. I would request light honey as the serving of honey can get a little heavy handed and end up too sweet. The service is also quick. My only big drawback is location/seating. There's only about 5 tables and each one only has 1-2 seats that are a bit dirty. There's also quite a few ants and some of them crawled on me while I was eating. It's also right next to a car wash business so there's cleaning happening just a few feet away and it can be a bit noisy. Let me start off by saying that honeymee is actually my favorite dessert spot because I absolutely love the milk and honey flavor combo. The soft serve ice cream is decadent and there are plenty of toppings they offer. Although the fruit syrup flavors are popular, I shy away from them as some of them are two sweet and/or artificial tasting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is lots of parking, the store is hidden in a little corner next to the gas station, and there are a few outdoor tables and chairs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This used to be my go-to location but, as you can see in other reviews, service is not the best. It's a gamble to see if they're still open after work, because the employees always choose to close up shop before the listed time. They also start serving only ice cream after a certain time that varies, which should be listed somewhere. You don't really know what time they'll decide to close up for the day or start only serving ice cream. The phone number shown online is not in service either, so you can't really call and check to see if they're still "open." When I'm just chilling in the plaza, I even see that they'll put up the 10 minute break sign sometime in the last hour before 10 p.m. (or whenever they actually are supposed to close) and then just stop serving desserts. Over time, I've seen so many people walk away and have to tell their friends no honeymee for today (rip). I get wanting to clean everything to go home earlier, but the listed times should be adjusted accordingly. Additionally, they should put up a consistent time somewhere informing that they start only serving ice cream after that time. Management clearly doesn't care based on the overall ratings. Although it is farther and a bit pricier, I primarily drive to the Irvine location now because they are much more consistent with service, have a wider menu selection, and even offer kiosk ordering. read more

Glad that I found this place again! I was a regular at another location in Rowland Heights many many years ago before they closed down the store. I had lunch in the same plaza and happened to see the Honeymee sign. It's a bit hidden though so I had to walk around to see the exact location. It's next to the carwash place. This location is likely the worst in quality. Honeycomb cut is much smaller. Honey is artificially sweeter. Honey drizzle is less. Ice cream is more icey and sweet. Sunburned Korean kid cashier today skimmed on the Matcha Drizzle, for our Matcha Afrogato, he got ice cream in the cups first and foremost, then on top he added little honey then little matcha drizzle; that's never the orders of making it as I have seen the progress hundreds of time.
