Welcome to the neighborhood!! Joe's opened just about a month and we've been wanting to try it; today was the perfect day, I had been busy all day and forgot to take something out of the freezer. The place is very welcoming and nicely decorated. Staff was friendly and welcomed us when we arrived. They started us off with complimentary bread, which was delicious!! My husband and I were looking for a pizza place that had a really good simple pizza. We've tried numerous of places and their cheese only, pepperoni and supreme slices were not it. Even though we love a good specialty pizza sometimes we just want something simple lol. We noticed Joes passing by a few times in the area when we are out and about. We always noticed the parking lot was always packed. Today, felt like a great day to get some pizza and we remembered Joes!! I placed a pick up order over the phone. The woman who answered was very kind! We got one 12" supreme pizza and one 18" half cheese / half pepperoni pizza. My husband went to pick up the order and he right off the bat told me "the place is packed! And the pizza smells so good!!" Lol. We got home and got to eating lol. We FINALLY found a place who serves an amazing pizza! Joes pizza was everything we were looking for! So tasty! We definitely will be back! Went here for the first time. The food was great. Serviced good and the atmosphere was comfortable. I hope they are able to get a liquor license so they can serve wine. But in the meantime, you can bring your own wine. They will provide glasses. Their bread was good, but I'd advise them they need to flavor the dough with a little salt. It's pretty bland tasting. Food, service, and ambiance were amazing! When you walk in you are greeted by very nice servers, it is open seating. The restaurant was clean, and very cute! It is a little chilly inside, I'd recommend bringing a small cover if you get cold easily. I ordered Garlic Knots ( no cheese ), a small Caesar salad, the Shrimp Scampi, and a side of sausage. Everything I ate was delicious, the sauces are all very good, all the meats cooked well. Out walking the dog needed a dinner option that would work the was simple affordable and easily able to get home. Pizza was the winning ticket on paper. Thin crust on small or large - no medium option. Crust was cooked but not able to hold - just went limp and sad. No flavor in the crust. No texture. PHENOMENAL authentic Italian food at this family owned restaurant they remodeled in what used to be a pizzeria! Service is excellent, food is top-notch, I've eaten there multiple times a month ever since they opened and their cannolis are to die for ! The portions are huge and I always get two meals out of them and they cheerfully give you extra sauce if you just ask! The sauce is heavenly, btw! Came for lunch with a group of friends and had the lasagna with a salad and bread. The bread was very good however the salad was from a bag with a few black olives, carrots, and a sliver of onion with terrible dressing - very unimaginable and boring. Salads came out at different times which was very odd since not everyone had ordered one and it seemed to be the very simplest of things to do but it was a fail. When the main dishes started coming out those also come out haphazardly. My lasagna was served after everyone else in the party had finished their meal. I took 2 bites and asked for a to go box since they were all done. I was told the oven was full and that's why it was late. That's not my problem man. The lasagna was very boring, very small and very expensive for its size ($16) . The sauce was quite bland . I think they possibly use the same sauce for everything . Also, it was chewy - I think the cheese was low grade . I ended up spitting it into my napkin. Nothing came with the $16 lasagna except the bread. The sad salad was a couple bucks extra. The friends that sat next to me said they were displeased with their meals as well. We won't be back. read more

Food was awful. The salad was watery. The iced tea was old and bitter and the food was really bad. I don't know how they have any good reviews. Wouldn't eat here again if I was starving to death. Very clean place tastefully decorated. greeted promptly when we walked in. The food was large portions, could have easily split a meal. The fresh garlic bread brought out which was complementary art and was very good! our pasta dishes were really good flavor but pasta cooked a bit much for our liking. My husband, daughter and I ate here on a whim after Tao Yuan had closed :( the service was great and the food was amazing! Awesome portion sizes. While they don't serve alcohol, they had soda and lemonade products which went well with dinner. The servers and staff were all very friendly and nice. Absolutely amazing! Atmosphere, service and food! Best italian in the area. Very clean flavors and true to homemade style. I feel like I went to an italian Nana's and was welcomed, fed and blessed! Highly recommend! We tried (but couldn't finish it all!) pepperoni roll appetizer, lasagna, small pizza (pep/fresh mushroom), and italian wedding cake desert. All wonderful and clean tasting! There was nothing really bad, but nothing really good either. The food was okay and service good.

Came on a Saturday at 5pm. Was immediately greeted at the door by a friendly, Italian man. Was sat and served our drinks in less than 2 minutes. Ordered the Caesar salad to start. It was $10.99. It was fresh mixed iceberg with romaine and croutons with the Caesar dressing on the side. No fresh shredded parm on it. The Caesar dressing was blah like the salad. It's a simple salad that is so easy to make. Their cook should watch some food network shows on how to make a Caesar salad. A loaf of fresh baked bread was served with the salad which was nice. There were 2 little butter packets in the basket. The butter was hard and no respectable Italian restaurant should serve bread with butter in this manner. Real Italians eat bread with good olive oil and good quality balsamic vinegar. I asked for some olive oil and balsamic and I was brought the glass bottles of olive oil and red wine vinegar. I was a bit confused when the young male waiter set it down I didn't know what to say. I know I gave him the look. The other female waitress saw the look asked me what I wanted and I asked again for balsamic vinegar. She brought me balsamic vinaigrette. We ordered the sampler that was a stuffed shell, lasagna, and manicotti. The sauce was good, lots of melted,mozzarella on top did not know what was what so I cut through all the cheese and separated the 3 apart. Not a huge deal but just should have been served in a way that looked more appealing. It all tasted good. My husband had the chicken piccata. It was so bland, totally flavorless he almost used the whole jar of the fake powder parmigiana cheese we got when asked if they had some fresh parmigiana. Friends recommended this place, but our visit was not great. There seems to be a lot of inconsistency after reading reviews but we didn't bother to look before. Garlic knots with cheese were tough, chicken parm was delicious and the sauce was good but missing garlic bread, odd pasta sampler with questionable microwaved lasagna and no version of stuffed shells or manicotti was on the plate, it was some weird rolled up noodles. They drown everything in cheese or sauce so you can't see what your food looks like, normally that's great but there seems to be another reason. We were the only customers, so when we sent food back, we could hear and see the staff's reactions. Our waiter also just seemed so nonchalant the whole time. First impression was mixed. Plastic plates and cups. Wasn't a fan. Obviously a family run business. The young men waiter/greeter lack service knowledge and proper food handling. Playing with their cell phones in booth and eating then getting up and serving whatever without washing their hands. I ordered the pasta sampler. Presented ok however smothered in cheese (not a bad thing) but had no clue what i was eating. Waiter never followed back up after serving. Prices were ok. Was never asked about dessert or more water. Father i presume Joe did come around while i was eating and asked if everything was alright. Sorry to report that the food here is just not good. Chicken Marsala was awful. It was a gravy, not Marsala. Salads weren't fresh. Rest of the dinners honestly tasted like frozen food heated up.
