Being thicker and more athletic than most has its challenges, especially when it comes to fashion. It seems like a lot of niche designers craft men's clothing to suit skinny emo or hipster types. That motif will not work with me. But thankfully, there's Joe's! I love the brand, unapologetically. It's totally aligned with my style: subtle and understated yet elegant. They do casual exceptionally well. Anyway, I made my usual trek to the Joe's outlet coming back from Palm Springs. Once again, I was not disappointed. Super friendly staff, including Andrea; I think that was her name. She was friendly and the consummate professional. Went above and beyond to pull sizes and styles for me to try on. Even got me to test out a couple of styles I'm not accustomed to, even with this brand. Whether it's tops or bottoms, their clothing always gives the effect of a tailored fit. Many of their jeans have the stretch fabric that make them much more comfortable to wear. The tops fits snugly and accentuate your build in a flattering way. Can't say enough good things about their clothing or customer service. Needless to say, I will be back! read more

I'd also like to say the customer service we were provided by a gentleman who said he helped to open the store when they first moved in. I walked into Joes wanting to find some different colored pants instead of the generic blue jeans. I was greeted with Rosa, and she was amazing! She took the time to hear what I was looking for and went in the back to clearance and found some great colors that fit so well and are nice and soft. She was patient enough to let me try on a few different sizes. I was so impressed that she was so adamant on helping me find a good deal and not just wanted to sell what was on the floor for retail. My experience with Joe's Jeans was amazing!!! My boyfriend and I were greeted by 2 sales reps, Andrea and Damian. It was like walking into a friend's home. I never felt pressed to buy anything. Andrea helped me and she was knowledgeable in the sizes I needed and what would look good on me. She was friendly and so sweet. Damian helped my boyfriend who had been in there before. Damian also helped him back then too and my boyfriend loved the experience as well. Now for the clothes. Wow!! The jeans are painted on and feel and look amazing. The prices were also amazing. Usually, great jeans are $200-$300. These jeans were marked down from $172 to $116 with another 30% off! When it was time to put our purchase into the bag, they were folded and laid so nicely in the bag. Usually, they are thrown into the bag after purchase and when you get them home, they're wrinkled. She didn't put her phone down and was texting WHILE talking to me. She didn't seem to understand what jeans I was talking about, so I asked her to speak with the store manager. I am not a huge clothes shopper (even though I need to be). So my jeans range from everywhere: Target, Old Navy, Gap, Levi's, Cotton On. You get the picture. I have always heard great things about Joe's Jeans but never truly got around to trying a pair on, let alone buying a pair. At the outlet they had a promotion going on but of course I fall in love with a pair that is not part of the promotion (but still on sale just more expensive). I try on several pairs but only truly fell in love with one which I ended up buying. Let me tell you- these jeans are life changing. Literally my favorite pair of jeans now, they are comfortable, shape my body nicely, and are sturdy. The sales associates working the day I went in were also extremely helpful and very friendly (as it should be I mean these jeans are expensive!). I know $90 sounds ridiculous for a pair of jeans but these jeans are honestly worth the $. $90 with tax on sale- original price was almost 200$! We usually get our Joe's from the Rack since there is no Joe's store where we live. Driving through on our way to Long Beach we stopped here and grabbed a pair. We were headed to a party and let the 2 sales girls know what they were for and what we were doing. We tried on a few pairs and found that we needed a size 34. One of the sales girls that was helping us asked what size we needed and took the pair we were holding. We said 34. When we got to Long Beach for our event and pulled out the jeans they were size 36. We had to rush around a quickly find a replacement pair from the closest clothing store as there was no Joe's near us. Now driving home with a brand new pair of Joe's we stopped back at the outlet to return them. Come to find out you can ONLY exchange Joe's, never return them, EVER, even when the sales girl gives you the wrong pair. It does say that on the receipt, exchange only, all sales final. Okay I get it but when I ask you if you understand our frustration you only answer, "what I understand is that you should pay attention to detail." REALLY!! WOW! Way to not take ownership of your mistake Rosas. At least say that you are sorry and that you feel horrible that we had to rush around to be ready for our event. Nope, all you could say is, "I rang up the pair you handed me." I gave you the opportunity to just say sorry three times and you couldn't find the words. A store like Joe's really needs to train their sales girls with some customer service and as the jeans are purchased should emphasize the no return policy, it's not a typical store policy for unused items (that I have ever heard of, then again I'm not a sales girl in a retail store). Oh, Rosas, you're a manager? Dang! Who is going to train the staff if you can't even get it right? Oh, Rosas, didn't think we were going to write a review about our experience? Joe's Jeans Oulet, IT DOES EXIST! It's a small store and visibly JEANS EVERYWHERE... Tons of displays throughout the store letting you know that everything is on sale. I had a field day just picking through. Obviously, this store is filled with jeans and of course the size that I wanted was no where to be found. The store is unorganized with jeans scattered all over the place and not in the correct sale place. Customer service: No one greets you when you walk into the store. There was only one person that was helpful, I believe his name was Josh. The other two cheeseheads were useless. The assistant store manager who looks like a wanna be Pauly D from the shore is a freaking joke. He made an error in my transaction and would not honor the price that was suppose to be given. One of the worst customer service ever. Even other customers chimed in and said that was very unprofessional. The other sales associate that sported a greasy looking mullet was very rude to other customers. If you hate your job, DON"T WORK IN RETAIL!! No one wants to deal with your poor ass attitude! I decided to stop by these outlets while visiting from San Diego and there were definetly some great deals there. I was happy to see a Joe's Jeans outlet because they are one of the few designers that make jeans that fit me. When I walked into the store, both the two males (one was named Josh) and a lady named Ninn came to help me right away. There were a million different jeans to choose from so I didn't know where to start. They were great and very sweet to their customers. They all went out of their way to bring me the right jeans and styles according to what I described to them. Those THREE employees are an excellent asset to the company!! They made my visit very pleasant and I came out of the store with exactly what I wanted. I would love to go back if I am ever in the area again. read more

I have had only good experiences at Joe's. The sales people, (Eugene is awesome) are knowledgeable and friendly. Each time I have visited, I walk in, tell someone what I am looking for, and they set me up with the products that fit my needs. Without having to check, they usually know exactly what washes come in what sizes, which one's will be long enough, and what size will fit best. They are really enthusiastic about jeans, and maybe some people interpret that as pushy salesmanship. Still, I have always felt respected and well taken care of at Joe's. read more

Really too many little things to explain or go into detail, however what i can say is the female staff definitely needs to work on their customer service...... ...........Went back the next day to exchange a pair of jeans. Edward nor Carlos were there (or at least i did not see them) I walked in 2 ladies were talking folding jeans. Both said "Hi welcome" and that was it lol instead of saying "hi welcome do you need help with anything" it was just a "hello" and carried on with the gossip they were talking (which i could go into further specifics about their conversation but would rather not. Not sure if that is a good or bad thing that their conversation was that loud and intriguing instead of assisting the customer) anyway i already knew what i was looking for however i was waiting to be asked if i needed help looking for something, so i could be in and out,didn't happen. As i was looking another girl came out from the back said "hello welcome" and that was it ,kept walking lol after this two day experience i just laughed got what i needed and left. I got jeans that are normally two hundred dollars for 80.00 a pair and I literally wear them every day and get so many compliments!!! When we walked in the store, we received a friendly greeting by Addy and a gal with black and blue hair, who's name I don't recall. After being in the store for a short time, we were introduced to Eddie. We were the only 2 customers in the store for almost 2.5 hours. I was familiar with Joe Jeans and own several pairs currently. However, my boyfriend was not. After seeing me successfully try on (and LOVE) each piece of clothing, he ventured around the store to gather some things for himself to try on. The entire staff joined in and helped us find clothing we loved. My love, loved everything he tried on and ended up getting everything, as did I. The prices are fabulous!! We were able to get so much more due to the the great prices and selections. All the sales people were fantastic. The customer service was refreshingly pleasant and went beyond any retail experience we have both had. After getting to know us both and discovering our tastes, each sales person joined in helping us shop. They brought us items into dressing room, that were perfect and exactly what we liked. They offered suggestions and opinions and helped with fitting questions and sizing. They offered us water and we even received homegrown organic tomatoes from Eddies garden. There were a couple items the store didn't have in my size, yet they found them at other stores for me and had the shipped to my home for no cost. Yay!! We spent a lot, and they weren't shy at expressing to us how grateful and appreciative they all were for our business. That was also very refreshing, rare and nice to hear. I live in Los Angeles and make the drive to Palm Springs at least once a month to visit a friend. I always have to stop at the outlets to see what is new. Joe's Jeans is one of my 1st stops always. You cannever have enough pair of Jeans and these seem to be one of two name brand of Jeans that fit me great!! I have always loved their jeans so seeing this outlet store was a dream! Each time the customer service is great. They are always full of energy and so helpful. It seems that they really have studied the brand as well because they can always tell exactly what I need and I have yet to have a problem finding my size. I can always appreciate an outside opinion. Each time I have gone in, they remember who I am and are always very helpful. I took my friend recently, who is about 5 sizes smaller than me and she too was very impressed. Buyer Beware- this store does not have a Returns policy! If you buy a pair of jeans and don't like it, you CANNOT get your money back. They will let you exchange it for another item within 14 days, however. While their merchandise is fine and their store staff is helpful, I find this lack of a Returns policy so abhorrent and out of step with other comparable clothing retailers (ie. Banana Republic, Gap, Old Navy) that I am giving them 1 star. read more

While visiting family for Thanksgiving my cousin took me out shopping for Black Friday. I always have a hard time with jeans since I am short and I especially avoid high end brands because they tend to be even longer than usual. My cousin insisted that we went into Joe's since she has had good luck there and I was pleasantly surprised. I tried on several styles that I normally wouldn't have looked twice at. It made a world of a difference. The staff was really knowledgeable about what cuts would work with my body and considering it was Black Friday (I worked retail in the past and know how brutal it can be) I was so appreciative that they wanted to make a genuine effort. I work in hospitality and understand the importance of a review and this store definitely deserves 5 stars. Also a special acknowledgment to the blonde girl who I was so excited was also from MA.
