Came here on a Saturday night around 7 and place wasn't too busy but seemed like they were doing a lot of take out and delivery orders. The woman behind the counter was super friendly and answered all of my questions. Also they have a bathroom and you need to ask for the key. The restaurant has a homey feel and is very clean and rustic. They have a TV which was playing a horror suspense movie but somehow that just made the whole experience better. There is a variety of slices you can get. Speciality slices at $4 and cheese is $2.75. All prices on menu include tax. They have amazing daily deals even on the weekend. You can get a large cheese pizza and a 2 liter soda plus other items like mozzarella sticks and chicken wings depending on the day all for $28. It's a great deal. They also give you 10% off online orders. We ended up trying the chicken parm pizza. It was delicious and light. It has mozzarella cheese on it, dabs of tomato sauce, crispy chicken and fresh mozzarella and basil. The dough was crispy on the bottom and the cheese gooey, it had a great flavor and we really enjoyed it. Can't wait to come back.

Talk about authentic. These pies were a big hit for me and my fam. Line was wrapped around the street. Service was quick and even though we ordered individual slices, they warmed it up and by the time we payed we got our pies. Delicious. Definitely a must for us whenever we hit Time Square again.

Everything was wrapped like this. Imagine French fries....

Everything came wrapped in aluminum foil. There was no containers. That made friends fries and onion rings extremely soggy and they went straight to trash. Pizza is below average. My order was done via seamless, delivery was fast but there was an item missing, when I called to tell them that they said they will do gerund for it. That never happened. Also not very friendly via phone. Not going to be my to go pizza.

Two large, tasty plain slices. Water bottle for size comparison.

Was in town and came here just for some plain pizza slices. It's a nice little pizza joint right on the corner of 47th and Broadway in Bayonne. The employees seem to be working hard and I was presented with my two slices of plain pizza pretty quickly. I have to say I was very impressed with the large plain slices they offered me, larger than most pizzerias. Please see my picture below, I included a water bottle for size comparison. It was not a thin crust pizza but the pizza was a little thinner than usual. Also there didn't seem to be as much cheese and tomato sauce on the slice that I'm used to as well. But the flavor was good and of course the slices were on the larger size. I would recommend this place if you are in uptown Bayonne and you're looking for pizza.

The best thing about Joe's pizza in Bayonne, is that it is open till 3am every night. When craving some last night pizza or Italian food items, Joe's is the place to go to, in the after hours. I love that they have a great variety of specialty slices for you to chose from, right on the counter display. Besides their pizza, some of my other favorites are their chicken parm sub, and mozzarella sticks. Everyone loved plain pizza (which is good at Joes), but I would recommend giving their taco slice it buffalo chicken slice a try and well. You wont be disappointed. Overall, you can go wrong with whatever item you order here at Joe's Pizzeria.

We unexpectedly ended up at the Corner Square and were so pleasantly surprised at their pizza. We ordered a pie that was half cheese and half mushroom and it was absolutely delicious. It was cooked perfectly and had amazing cheese that stretched for miles with each bite. After we finished the pie and were leaving, I noticed the number of different types of pies at the counter and was intrigued by one called Brooklyn upside down. I asked the gentleman behind the counter, whose name was Pete, what that was all about and not only did he explain it to me, but he was so generous about giving me a slice to take home and try later which my family enjoyed. The pizza and the service was great and I'm so happy we stopped at this local pizza shop. If I'm ever in the neighborhood, I will definitely stop by again.

Cheesesteak- It was a good cheesesteak but comes off salty, I know they use coopersharp but I couldn't get over the salt factor. I tried to cut some of the richness with some ketchup but that didn't help. I ate half there and took the other half home, it reheated well.

In fact, I could not stop refilling my plate, and I was not alone in that struggle; everyone was raving about the dishes. First, there were rolls that were essentially garlic knots without the oil or garlic. However, they were fine as they were, given that they had a golden brown, lightly crispy crust and a soft, doughy interior. There was also a massive round platter of their mixed salad, which included a base of spring greens topped with cucumbers, tomatoes, black and green olives, pickled carrots, and roasted peppers. I love all of those ingredients, and I prefer heavy toppings on my salads, so I was thrilled. However, on top of all of those vegetables was a mountain of raw red onion slices, which I had to delicately avoid. The last thing anyone would want at a party was strong onion breath, and I am not a fan of onions in even the most private of circumstances. Regardless, it was a creative salad that was much more interesting than others you would typically find at a casual pizzeria. In terms of the main courses, there was a large tray of each of three diverse items. The Penne alla Vodka contained pasta that was cooked to the perfect balance of firmness and softness, while the sauce was deliciously creamy and tangy without being over-the-top rich. The Chicken alla Marsala did not come with many mushrooms, but the poultry had been pounded thin, lightly breaded, and served in a robust wine sauce. The chicken was tender, moist, and tasty. Lastly, the Eggplant Parmigiana was incredible! The eggplant was sliced very thin, which was great because it minimized the eggplant chew factor that can sometimes causes issues for the diner when the slices are too thick or have gooey skin. However, this also meant that the breading was prominent in each bite. That concept might annoy diehard eggplant fans, but because the marinara sauce was sweet and well-seasoned and the cheese was flavorful, I loved how it all came together. When I was preparing to write this review, I looked at Mona Lisa's website and saw how vast their menu was, including a slew of interesting pizzas and pastas. So, I will definitely need to visit in-person to try some of their other delectable items.

We did the $1 extra charge for all the rolls, large salad, potatoes, vegetables and cookie platter. It's amazing that you get all of that just for a dollar extra. I think this is for tray orders only. Also I have gotten pizza there before, the plain pizza is excellent. The rainbow cake is nice too. We tried the buffalo chicken pizza once but it was chewy. And one time I got chicken parm and the chicken was burnt. Usually this place is very good. Highly recommend for affordable and tasty Italian food!
