We stopped by this evening for a few slices of pizza, and it was definitely worth it. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We dined in and ordered two regular slices, one Sicilian Margherita slice, and a Buffalo slice. Everything was delicious crispy, flavorful, and served just right. There wasn't any music playing during our visit, but what really stood out were the photos and images all over the walls. They're impressive and give you a real sense of Hoboken's history. As a tourist about 35 mins away in Teaneck debated between this and another pizza place in this area. Kinda pricey but ordering online saves 20% so gave it a go on the whole pie of vodka pizza. Order said about 30 mins so it was perfect to drive down on time. Didn't realize this is a busy area but luckily found a street parking spot nearby and sent wife to go pick up:) Drove few blocks to the water front area to street park and dig into the fresh pizza. Looked fantastic but did not taste much vodka sauce at all. The cheese and dough was a bit bland so wished both ingredients could use a bit more salt. As I finished the first slice, I came to conclude that the pizza here was namesake, pure "quality". The mozzarella must be something special, not some generic salty thing off the shelf. Really enjoyed it even wishing it had a bit more salt to it to make it better. Ended up eating half the crust of the 2nd slice with all the cheese. Then ate the 3rd slice peeling off the cheese topping and leaving most of the crust behind to make it more savory. It did not have the full flavored taste of Brothers pizza that I love, but that works due to my cheap taste buds lol. Here, its a higher end pizza that seems to use very high quality mozzarella. With the less salty but superb quality mozzarella, perhaps the correct pizza to get here should have some salty toppings like pepperoni. I think a pepperoni might be amazing, getting the saltiness from pepperoni to add flavor to the high quality mozzarella. read more

Thank goodness for late night pizza. When you're bar crawling in Hoboken on Washington Street and start to feel the hunger kick in after 1AM, the last thing you want to worry about is finding food. Quality Pizza is conveniently open until 4AM on Friday and Saturday nights. As soon as we walked in, we could smell the aroma of fresh pizza pies. They offer your classic favorites like plain cheese and pepperoni, as well as specialty types like buffalo chicken and baked ziti. You can buy them by the slice or by pie (round or square). They also have options for personal pies. There's a decent amount of booths for indoor seating as well as tables and chairs for outdoor seating. The interior is nothing fancy; it's your typical pizza parlor vibe. We ordered one Spicy Pepperoni square slice, one Margherita square slice, and one Margherita regular slice (round pie). The employees warmed up our pizza and we got them within a few minutes. It's close to $5-$6 for each slice, which is steep in my opinion. You save 10% when you pay in cash. Our total for 3 slices and a bottled water was a little over $20. I could get a whole pie for that price. The Spicy Pepperoni slice was actually spicy, so I was happy about that. But there was way too much dough for me and it was overly crispy. The sauce and cheese were a bit bland and I definitely needed more of both. My +1 enjoyed the Margherita slices - the sauce, cheese, and fresh basil were all standard, but the crust was too bready. So the pizza was good, but nothing exceptionally great or memorable. The first time I got a slice was earlier this month on my birthday. Maybe it was the magic of the new year or the fortune of my birthday but the slice I got was really good. I asked the guy behind the counter for a recommendation and was told to get a grandma slice. Great choice! It was awesome: flavorful and THICK. Yum Tonight i was in Hoboken again and went in for another grandma slice. I was more than a little disappointed. The slice was droopy, floppy and thin. So much so that when i picked it up it flopped over and fell. If the slice i got tonight had been my first slice at this place I would never have come back a second time. Definitely not worth $4.80. I seriously feel like I wasted my money... It was after 8 and no one was in the shop. Maybe that's why whatever was left was subpar. read more

My companions and I needed a late night slice of pizza on a Saturday night in Hoboken. Quality Pizza to the rescue. First time visit and will return. The pizza slices were fast, hot, garlicky, and crunchy on the bottom. The pepperoni was, indeed, spicy. We all enjoyed our slices. Only negative is the price for the size of the slice -- almost $18 for 3 slices and we we were all still a bit hungry an hour later. I can usually get an entire pizza for that amount. It's a pizza joint, so not much in the way of service or ambiance, but that's not why you go. I will say that orders were taken quickly (they were adequately staffed, even at 9 pm) and pizza was heated and provided quickly for eat-in or takeout. Street parking only. I am beyond ecstatic that I can now find amazing pizza here in Hoboken NJ on the other side of the river. They've perfected it - clean, welcoming, lots of deals and friendly service :-) Definitely come check them out. I especially recommend the spicy Roni! Garlic bread and vodka pizza are another favorite! They even have TVs in the back and a large space for parties. Open till 4 AM on the weekends for the late night crowd and 1 AM weekdays. I ordered the Spicy Pepperoni Square Pie and the Vodka Square Pie. While the flavors were enjoyable and the toppings had good seasoning, the pizza itself left much to be desired. The crust and overall texture were stale and dry, likely from sitting out for too long before being reheated in the oven, which seemed to dry it out even further. My friend wanted to try out the new Quality Pizza Co. the other day, and, since I had not had pizza in a while, I volunteered to go with her. The slice shop had a good deal of seating, with booths in the front and tables with chairs in the back. When I arrived, my friend was already seated at a booth, so I slid in to join her. We were not sure if the cushioned benches were just not broken in yet or what, but they were not very comfortable. I went to the counter and was greeted by the very friendly staff. I ordered a slice of New York-style pizza topped with mushrooms, as well as a bottle of seltzer. The whole thing cost $8, with $4.50 for the slice and $3.50 for the beverage, both of which I thought were priced rather high. In terms of the pizza, I liked its sweet marinara sauce and fresh mushrooms, but found the crust and cheese bland and needing salt. My friend thought her Sicilian white pizza slice was also not overly flavorful and over-priced. Hoboken has so many terrific pizza spots, but most of them tend to serve full pies, rather than being "slice joints".
