JOE retired and this is NOT Joe's though it still uses the name. I stopped in and showed him a photo of a chair I needed re-upholstered. He told me he could do it. I called and asked when I could bring it in and he said any day 7-4. I brought it in and he claimed he never saw the photo and wouldn't honor the price he gave me. I took a photo in of my antique 1930's couch to be reupholstered....the man Joe? was very rude and said he couldn't do it.....no reason....broken English.....I would have gone with any advice or upholstery recommendations....but the answer was NO.....so I will go to someone else.....they have very good reviews, so I was surprised! read more

I had my grandmother's antique chair reupholstered by Joe. Not only was it done quickly, it was also incredibly beautiful work. He went above and beyond what he was paid to do. Not only did he do an excellent job of the upholstery, he also put in new webbing and polished up the wooden parts of it . I was very impressed with his work and it was very reasonably priced as well. There's no doubt that I will use his services again to do some work on the inside of my car. Awesome upholstery shop! We took a vintage goose-neck rocker that we found in a second-hand shop to Joe's for reupholstering. Joe's turned our ugly duckling into a beautiful swan. All I can say is WOW!!! If I could give 100 stars I would. As most Ford owners/ Mustang Owners can attest to Ford used the worst glue possible on the door panels, to the extent, that the door panel fabric will peal off if you live in a hot humid climate. Well this began to happen to my baby, and no matter what type of glue I used I could never get the leather to stick back on to the panel, I even used Gorilla glue in my attempts. In comes Joe's Upholstery to the rescue, Paul is a true craftsman and magician, not only did he repair both panels to perfection he also added a custom cover to the center arm rest. I'm so please with the awesome job Joe's Upholstery did on my chair. I had the same fabric on that chair since 93'. I really wanted a fabric similar to the existing fabric. Joe was able to take some time and find me three that were a fairly good match. Not only did he find me a great fabric, he reupholstered the chair and brought it totally back to life. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the work and the service he provided. There's a sense of pride that goes into his work. I am so very pleased with the service, price, turn around time, and attention to detail that Joe's upholstery gave me when I took my antique armchair to them to get reupholstered. Before going to Joe's, I received quotes from other local businesses nearby that wanted to charge much more for the same service. Joe's did it cheaper and in half the time of others without compromising quality. This chair has been in my family for many years and the old upholstery was torn, stained, and very old. This shop does automotive interiors as well as home furniture reupholstering. We took our Mazda sedan after the roof liner came loose and failed a home repair. By the time it was in to Joe's, the entire liner was sagging and the area around the rear window had been marred by my own sloppy adhesive attempt. For a great price, we got back a perfectly original looking headliner, flawlessly fitted. Not a fingerprint or scratch on the headliner, windows or trim. The car was in and out the same day and we were given an appointment the day after our estimate. The owner was gracious and had clear pride in his shop's work. Very disappointed with the service I received from Joe's Upholstery. Took a bar stool to have the back of the stool re-upholstered. While the quality of workmanship was good, they used a different colored thread for the top stitching. When I stated my dissatisfaction (as the back of bar stool did not match the seat), I was told it would be an additional $75.00 to correct THEIR mistake. If they could not match the thread color, a courtesy phone call to the customer should have been made prior to the work being completed. Joe's Upholstery should correct their mistake! Excellent service and craftsmanship! I brought in the cushions from my Peter Hvidt daybed and they came home to me in better condition that they had ever been. And when I bought it, it was pristine. I had it re-covered because: cats. (Yes, I will always have cats, it's just furniture, people!) But there was some degredation of upholstery and the cats clawed at a spot on it. I got a recommendation for Joe's upholstery from a friend of a friend and I am not disappointed. They were so patient as I went through ALL THE BOOKS of upholstery fabric. And when I chose one, they offered a great price. Today, when my husband picked up the pieces and brought them home, I was surprised they turned out as well as they had. (Original foam.)
