It can be challenging to find a quiet coffee shop with excellent service, tasty drinks, and an atmosphere with character, and Joey No Nuts nails it all. For customer convenience, there's an ordering window outside so that you don't have to come inside. This can be especially beneficial for dog owners. Inside, there's a music themed cafe with a records collection, great tunes, a drum set, and an old school Pac-Man machine. Stopped by here for coffee on a cold day. Currently due to covid they are only operating through a window counter but service is very friendly. She was very knowledgeable in helping me make a selection for a different coffee drink. I wanted to try something different but typically find the specialty drinks too sweet. But she made me a yummy, creamy non fat Oh Snap Latte which had gingerbread, maple and cinnamon flavor shot blended in. I'm glad I tried something new but I probably would love to try their house blend regular coffee next time! My friend got the Mocha Raspberry Iced and she really enjoyed her drink! I had the matcha and gingerbread latte here. Genuinely shocked I have not been coming here sooner. The matcha was traditional ceremonial grade with no sugar added- my personal favorite. This means they are doing it right! The gingerbread was also delicious and not too sweet at all! I love quality coffee with as little sugar as possible and this delivered! read more

Delicious! We stopped in here for the first time today to try their latte and cappuccino. Important to know; they have no nut milks! Hence the name, Joey No Nuts. So no almond milk and no coconut milk. My boyfriend ordered a medium latte with their ripple milk (pea protein milk). I ordered a medium cappuccino with oat milk. Both were delicious!! And total was $9. Totally fair prices! The woman who helped us (I didn't get her name), was very knowledgeable and helpful. Great customer service! They have homemade muffins too. It's also kid friendly inside! Bumpers on the table edges. Coffee is top quality! We will be frequenting here! Amazing! Can't say enough good things about Joey No Nuts! Great new spot! Owner is friendly. Feels like a nice, local shop. Love the fun art and figures on the wall. Quirky vibe but the coffee was really good. Great options and I can see it becoming a nice stop on the way to the park or getting your groceries. It's tiny in there, not a lot of sitting space (welcome to Hoboken) but it's got the walk up window which I love. Allows me to grab coffee while I walk my dog and I appreciate that. My daughter and I stopped by on the way home. Barista was incredibly friendly and helpful in helping me choose a dairy for my coffee. As the name suggests, they are a nut-free coffeehouse. The hot latte with Ripple milk was delicious. We also shared a gluten free pumpkin muffin that was very good. While the restroom doesn't have a changing tablei, it did have a toilet with a built in toddler seat. The barista also offered a toy to help occupy my daughter so I could relax for a few moments. Sad that my daughter has moved away from Hoboken which means I won't be visiting the area very much & that means I won't be able to pick up the very best espresso at this great spot. I remember showing up one day anxious for a dbl shot of espresso & when about to pay, realized I left my wallet at home. Joey says "N/P next time , don't sweat it". I really like this place. I like that they have a walk up window and are very clean so there doesn't have to be any contact if you prefer not. Their coffee is fresh and and their iced tea is refreshing. The staff is super sweet too. This place is a hidden gem. I wish I lived closer! Please give them a try. You won't be disappointed. Cute little cafe in midtown Hoboken. I had a fantastic Chia Latte and ordered from the walk up window. Love that they thought to add this to the cafe, as it made it easy for me to grab a coffee while walking my dog. There are so many dog owners in Hoboken, so this makes it easy for them to grab something on the go. It's great to see a cafe that knows it's neighborhood! read more
