I first spoke with Misty on the phone and told her the issue I was having with my Jacuzzi J-460 (which had been pre-diagnosed by my electrician), and she was quite lovely in describing the cost of repair. It was a failed heater pump. I also needed a drain and clean since it had been some time that I had used it due to the heater pump issue. Her quoted price was fair and was NOT elevated after the service was performed, as some companies tent to do. Justin came, on time and was scheduled, replaced the faulty part and completed a very thorough drain and clean. The unit looked like new afterwards. I am very happy that I chose Spa Pros. I recommend them and I will schedule them again to care of my Jacuzzi!

He was patient and knowledgeable, which we really appreciated because my husband always has a thousand questions. Jake prepared us well for what to expect with the process, and his electrician recommendation was great. Delivery was faster than we ever expected. We got our jacuzzi almost a week and a half early. Because of the over hang in on our house we needed a crane for the installation, and the delivery crew was just as professional and helpful as Jake. Surprisingly the crane was much cheaper than I expected when I heard we might need a crane. We called around to compare, and Hydro Spa had by far the best pricing, especially with their 4th of July sale. When it suddenly started making a very loud noise, I was initially advised to consider a refurbished motor by my pool man. I spoke with John Z. at Discount Pool Mart, and he was extremely helpful and took the time to explain my options and help me determine the best solution. After speaking with him, I decided that purchasing a new pump was the right choice and would save me potential headaches down the road. What impressed me most was the exceptional customer service. I needed the new pump installed quickly because I had friends coming over that Sunday. I went to the store on Saturday, and John went above and beyond by arranging for his crew to come out and complete the installation that same day. For my pool supply I usually go to the discount pool mart and Mario is courteous and super helpful…read more Everyone in the store is great. I had an issue with the dirt clinging to my filter grid. I was running the machine for the past 3 days and the bottom of the pool had thick powder. I asked Mario to recommend a pool man that might know how to remove the calcification clinging to my filter grid. When was washing it off with the hose it was chipping like paint. I was wasting so much water that I figured I need a pro to help me. I told Victor the issue and if he knew how to clean the filter aside from spraying it with the hose. Maybe he knew a chemical to dip the filter in to soften the caulsified dirt on the grid. He came, told me he doesnt know why the dirt is caulsified. He had no suggestion on how to fix it other than spray it with my hose, which is what I told him I wanted to avoid when we spoke on the phone. He didnt even remove all the dirt. He put the grids back and said hopefully it will soften if I just keep running the filter. That cost $150. Thats highway robbery. He didnt even the clean the pool. He told me to run the vacuum I owned. He should have told me that the consult without fixing the problem is 150. I still think the store is great but please dont recommend the pool cleaner to anyone.

We stopped back through for a tea and honey tasting in the afternoon. I can't say enough good things about the staff at Topanga nursery. The grounds are surprising. You really have to see it because you can't judge it from the street. There are community classes and activities. Follow their IG and FB pages then go to their website to view a calendar. You can go to the Just Vibes grab a custom coffee and then walk the grounds and speak with the staff about what they offer there as far as trees and plants. They also have beehives and in their gift shop they have every variety of honey you can think of as well as lovely gift items from books to body care to jewelry to honey. It is a hidden treasure in the San Fernando Valley. It's a fun day out for families with kids and just by yourself. Go check them out!
