We had a leaking issue with the chimney that has not been able to be fixed by three different companies over the last few years. So, I called five personal friends and Clearview Roofing came up four times as one of the best roofing companies serving Long Island. I spoke to Andrew who directed Eric Levy to contact me for an estimate. Within 5 minutes, Eric reached out. I explained my issues and he said. "How is tomorrow I will come and inspect the roof and chimney and get this handled for you. I can be there by noon. Wonderful, a man who is on the job and willing to solve my issues with a courteous and friendly phone call. Next afternoon Eric appeared and like Santa went up the ladder and in 5 minutes explained the issue and remedies. The price he quoted was extremely fair and I said when can we get this done. They were beyond appreciative. At 2.30 they were done had all the pictures in hand and it was a work of art in installing the copper flashing and finish work. i was blown away to every detail. The company had been recommended to me by a family member and I must say that I was very satisfied with the job that they did and the timeliness with which they were able to complete it. I was in need of a new flat roof and Eric [the owner] sent out two of his crew members to come and inspect and measure the site. Within hours, I was emailed a contract with all of the information about the job to be done. We were quoted for roof repairs with this company for 3 times as my shingles were kept falling down by strong winds, but we did not proceed with them until last December. We selected another company to do the repair at first, but it was a mistake. The previous roofer did not patch the shingle properly and I had to worry about falling shingles on windy days. We ended up hiring Clearview Roofing after spending a few grants with the previous one. Nick came out to inspect my roof and gave me his professional opinions on my roof. He was honest, patient and knowledgeable. He explained the issues to us in detail and provided solutions to us immediately. As soon as we decided to move forward with this company, Nick scheduled his crew (about 8 people) to come out to fix my roof on the next day. His crew arrived at my property at around 7:30 am, worked super hard, and put up a new roof within 8.5 hours. His crew was hard working, humble, careful, and thorough (they used wood boards to block my front door and back door to ensure we did not step out and get hurt while they were tearing up the old roof). Two years ago we hired this company to do our stairs, pavers and new gutter. Upon their suggestion we installed the gutter under the pavers, into the ground with "drainage". Since this job we have gotten water in our basement. Come to find out the pipe was laid in the ground as is with no drainage to absorb and spread the water, hence the clog and constant water in our basement. I was able to get an appointment with Clearview Roofing within 24 hours of placing a call to them. Spoke with Nikki on the phone who was quite knowledgeable and efficient. David was at my house evaluating the entire roof which was found to be in pretty bad shape, as I suspected. After all it was over 20+years old and water was pouring through my kitchen ceiling during each rain we had. David came and left me with the GAF shingle book to peruse and select the color shingles to be used. Within a day, I had a written estimate which was very reasonable. THE JOB COULD BE DONE IN A DAY! I then signed the contract and got a phone call from ERIC who came to pick up the signed contract and he headed over to our VIllage Hall to get the necessary building permit. Within a few days, the roofers were ready to remove the old roof and install the new roof. Unfortunately (or fortunately for us) a small part of the roof was not completed in that one day because the roofers found thousand of yellow jacks had made their home under the den roof by our chimney! Clearview got an exterminator to remove the hives immediately. The roofers returned a day later ON A SUNDAY MORNING and completed the now "bee-free" area. They cleaned up and took away every bit of garbage to Clearview Roofing did a magnificent job. My roof is more beautiful than it was 20 years ago.
