My regular dentist referred me to OM3 which I went there and felt very uncomfortable. I asked a customer of mine that is a retired dentist who he would refer me to and that's how I met Dr. Whelan. The procedure was painless from the initial numbing until I left and still 10 hours later I am pain free. His expertise and calming manner really helped keep me relaxed. He also explained what he was doing along the way, which is so helpful because often times when you're sitting in the dentist chair you're wondering "what are they doing", or "how much time do I have left?" I never felt that he was hurried or rushed at all and I as incredibly grateful for his professionalism. I highly recommend Dr Whelan and his entire staff. Amanda explained the charges thoroughly and she is warm, communicative, and professional. Dr. Lowe is the best! He is caring, knowledgeable, and truly excellent at what he does. He takes the time to listen, answer questions, and make sure the patient feels comfortable. He also has to be the fastest and most expert oral surgeon I've ever seen. He had two extractions to do for my mom and she was in and out in less than 30 minutes with almost no swelling, minimal pain, and very smooth healing. He's a unicorn! They were visibly angry as if i was making it all up. Today was the day for me to get my crown, what an uncomfortable situation. As soon as my name was called to go go back I was taken to the desk for payment I hadn't been provided the service yet and I told the gal everything I've written here. It wasn't the misunderstanding from Dr. M providing the information about doing a payment plan, it was how it was handled so very, poorly. I really expected an apology . I refused to give them a credit card or 3 posted dated checks, just the $200 today they will get the other two payments scheduled but why on earth would I show them any respect or trust with my accounts after how they treated me. I originally looked up and booked an appointment here for my husband who refuses to go to a doctor or dentist when he's in pain and they were able to get him in and when I went inside to pay for his visit, they got me to book an appointment for a cleaning (Lord knows I was well overdue for one because I have the worst teeth issues since I was young). My husband has a female dentist at the time but I was scheduled with Dr. Jason Byun. Anyways, I've been here for maybe a little over a year now with my regular cleanings, deep cleanings, more major procedures and every time they have all been so kind and they really listen to you when you're describing the issues you have. And when you're someone like me with a history of problems... it's really nice of them to genuinely care for their patients. Today I went in for another cleaning and Leila was just very knowledgeable and helpful answering questions as to what is happening inside my mouth rather than the usual "make sure you brush your teeth and floss". Their quality of care truly shows in the best ways from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, so accommodating in every way. My 92 yr old grandma goes here as well and recommended them to me which speaks volumes, if she loves them and can be comfortable from start to finish you know it's a great clinic I just have to add that the doctor actually listened to each problem that was brought up, did not try to get me spend or do more than what was necessary but actually broke things down into steps and estimates, so I can do what's best for my oral health on my terms. He actually took photos of my teeth (in addition to dental radiographs) and reviewed everything with me so I could understand exactly what we were talking about and the problem spots. For six days, I had worsening pain, swelling, difficulty eating, lost sleep, vomiting, and missed work. The pain eventually spread into my ear, temple, and upper neck. I contacted the office/emergency number because the pain and swelling were getting worse. I did not receive timely guidance, and I felt I had to repeatedly explain the same concerns while I was in significant pain. When I returned for an emergency visit, the bite was adjusted. Within about 24 hours of that adjustment, I no longer needed pain medication. That improvement strongly suggests the high bite was a major factor in the pain and inflammation I experienced. I also clearly stated that I did not want to be seen by the same dentist again, but I was still placed with him. I asked for work and activity restrictions because I am a massage therapist and my job is physically demanding, but I did not receive clear clinical guidance. "Do what feels good" is not sufficient guidance for someone doing manual labor while recovering from a dental abscess/root canal complication. The lack of communication, lack of clear aftercare instructions, and feeling unheard throughout this process caused unnecessary stress and affected my ability to work. I no longer feel comfortable continuing care at this office. I requested a refund yesterday because I paid for a crown that I did not receive. The office has not issued the refund, and now I am having to dispute the charge with my bank.

Dr. Stivers arrived and clearly explained the entire procedure, from extraction to bone graft placement, in straightforward and calming terms. After the assistant applied the topical anesthetic, I didn't feel a thing--from start to finish. Post-operative instructions were provided both verbally and in writing, along with an ice pack and a prescription for discomfort (which I never needed to fill). When the anesthetic wore off that evening, I was amazed--it felt as though nothing had even happened. I'm extremely pleased with the level of care I received at Silver Creek Oral Surgery. Lakeside Endontics called Silver Creek Oral Surgery (they couldn't save the tooth in the condition that it was in) and they got me right in as I was in pain. This is an experienced team of dental professionals. I hit it off with Dr. Stivers and his team. They were friendly, experienced and effective. Dr. Stivers explained exactly what was going on with the affected tooth and offered treatment options, there was no pressure to decide. I paid in advance using a credit card, all charges were fully explained to me, both verbally and in writing. They worked quickly and effectively to remove the pain inducing back tooth. The after care treatment was excellent, with verbal and written instructions readily provided, and my questions were answered. My necessary prescriptions were emailed to my regular pharmacy and were ready for me to pick up. I was given a 'care bag', too. Received a follow up phone call the next morning to see how I was doing. I can highly recommend this practice. 5*****.

The day came for my first appointment at Cedar View Dental with Dr. Jonnes, and as soon as I walked in, I immediately felt at ease. That day they took X-rays and Dr. Jonnes went over options and a plan for future care and appointments. Second appointment was for teeth cleaning and the hygienist was fantastic. Third and most recent appointment was the first big test - fillings. I was scared and nervous, but all that changed within a few minutes. I felt no discomfort whatsoever! In a few days I'll be going back for additional treatment and I'm good with that. In my opinion, Dr. Jonnes and his staff practice the highest standards of professionalism and caring. I made the right choice.
