I DO NOT RECOMMEND this business at all - just had a terrible experience!…read more Just wow, never have I ever - worker "John" comes to install a new bottom heating element in my brand new Rheem water heater, doesn't test it or bring his machine and tells me I will have hot water back in about an hour. He leaves. 2.5 hours goes by, ample time passed and I try and take a shower - within 90 secs the water turns lukewarm, another 30 secs the water is cold when the knob is on full hot. I call him up and tell him, he tells me that is odd/not right so he come back 15 mins later and tests my sink for 60 secs and is like 'its boiling' and I say let the shower water run for a few minutes and tell me that - the water is literally turning cold in our hands and I tell him something is not right, go get your tester and he says he will. So I start to draw a bath, he comes back 2 mins later from his van and tells me that all my hot water is gone because it was 'emptied out'. Straight gaslighting me. I ask him ' come feel this bathwater, it's cold' - he refused to and tells me 'it is working how it is suppose to.' I tell him if that was the case I would have hot water 3 hours after you installed the parts and you would not have said it was odd and come over here! He would not test it the water heater or heating element he installed, tells me 'I have another emergency call to go to' mid dialogue, more gaslighting and takes off. I call the dispatch twice and my calls go unanswered, so I use my business land line and she instantly picks up - like wow - I identify myself, the lady working the phone gets instantly snappy with me and tells me 'the owner will call me tomorrow'. I am like 'why can't you talk to me' she responds telling me I was "rude to her worker!" As if , I gave him freshly baked cookies first thing when he came into my home! Ya, how rude of me - what a joke. I simply called him out for not doing his job, told him basically to do his due diligence, he refused to and some how I am fault!? You know what rude is - when you employ someone who is dismissive, invalidates you, and then takes off without the job being done correctly. She goes on to tell me that it is my fault because I showered to quickly and should have waited 3 hours! Very contrasting story to what the installer John told me and conflicting information. She then hangs up on me. No way be treated. UPDATE : 24 hours later I try and take a shower , hot water does not last past 12 minute mark. When in reality should have over 40+ minutes of hot water with a 50 gallon unit. I called 'Pipe Masters' back and then screened my call. More like 'Pipe Gas-lighters'. Cant even stand by there work nor did I hear from any ownership - garbage business in my opinion.

Bad Plumber, whose name is Edwin, completely botched a bathtub install. The miserable lying…read moresellers, whom I do not wish well, had removed the tub drain so that only the shower could be used. When I took a bath, the reason became obvious: the tub drained into the living room. The large volume of water was too much for the leaking pipes. ARRRRRGGGGHHH. So I replaced the tub with a bigger, deeper tub, and hired Bad Plumber to install it. He claimed that he repaired the leaking pipe. That was a lie. I took a bath, and it leaked again. Bad Plumber said that he would fix it. He did not return. So I called Roto-Rooter, because they guarantee their work. And they're a well-known company. Mike showed up on time. Gave me an estimate. It wasn't too bad. THEN he claimed that he needed a helper to thread a pipe through the ceiling, and no I couldn't do it. The other guy was going to cost an additional $450. UGH. For HOLDING A PIPE. He also insisted on replacing the bath fixtures. More money. Smh. They were brand new. So Mike did fix the leak. Months later, it's still holding up. But...he didn't want to replace the Sheetrock he cut out of the living room ceiling. He was going to just leave me WITH A LARGE HOLE IN MY LIVING ROOM CEILING. I told him that was unacceptable. He told me he's not a "drywall guy." I insisted he replace it, and he did, begrudgingly. He removed three panels from the bathroom wall, and didn't replace them, because "he's not a carpenter." They're still loose, because I can't quite get them back in. He left the old pipes and debris LYING ON MY DECK AND THE GRASS. I guess he's "not a garbage man" either. I should not have to clean up after a "professional," but I did. So....plumbing work: Excellent. No complaints. Mess left behind, extra helper nonsense, and sulking over the ceiling: Poor.

I had two problems that needed to be addressed. I had a fairly new toilet that hadn't been set…read moreproperly and was moving around the floor and leaking. Also, the cold water stopped working in my shower, making the shower unusable. I lost my husband this year and am never sure about what to do when things go wrong in the house, since I never had to address those problems in the past. I called 1-Tom and they made me feel completely confident about my choice. Right from the start, I liked the fact that they answered the phone and I didn't have to keep pushing buttons to get to the right person. I was told that they stood behind all their work and they would make sure I was satisfied with the outcome. Before Alex came to my home, I received a photo of him. He was confident and friendly and I immediately felt I was in good hands. Originally it looked like it was going to be a bad situation with the toilet and that the floor might have to be torn up. Alex showed me what the problem was and I could now see why the toilet couldn't be installed correctly in the first place. Alex called his boss and discussed what needed to be done. He was able to do it without damaging the floor, which was a huge relief. I trusted that 1-Tom did the best job possible for me while avoiding major repairs. I would definitely use their services again and recommend them to my friends.

In addition they fixed a few issues with our master bath shower head/handle and toilet. The company was really great, they sent me a bio and photo of the person who would be coming (which I appreciated for safety and professionalism), and the man who came was super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He also had some great suggestions and input on the project and location in the house, in terms of what's best to save money and simplify all the moving parts--which I really appreciated. Pricing was also good and very reasonable. Would definitely recommend them and also use them again going forward.
