Robert is awesome! Unfortunately, something recently chewed up a cable or tube (or whatever it's called) in my old-school Kenmore washer and I didn't know. So when I went to wash a load every ounce of water flooded into my garage. Holy friggin smokes. In a semi-panic, I searched on Yelp and came across MAM after initially calling the place that I purchased my set from many years ago, and they didn't pick up. Robert took my call and let me know that he could squeeze me in the same day. Long story short, he arrived when he said he would, dug around in the machine, found the problem and quoted a rate. I can't tell you if the price was good or not because I don't typically deal with this kind of stuff. For the amount of time he took it seemed very reasonable to me but again I'm not an expert in this area. Either way, I'm very thankful for the service that MAM provided. Money is still MIA. 8.23.2021 - still missing money and no follow up. ...................................................... Waited a week (while my dryer sat torn apart) for this board to come in. Upon its arrival it was the wrong board. Waited another week for the "right board". Installed the board and charged me A LOT of money. Second load and the dryer stops heating. Comes back and says it's still the bad board. Needs to order another from EBay (??). THEN my house is broken into and ONLY items stored near the dryer are stolen. I inform the owner Silvia and I never hear from the tech (Robert) again. I inquire about my broken dryer and am promised a refund. They y number is blocked due to harassment. Still to date, no refund. VERY dissatisfied with Robert Salazar. We contacted him last December to diagnose a microwave oven problem. He ordered an expensive part but it did not fixed the problem. He said he would order a new one. Don't know if he did because he's still not called us back. Another repairman said that Robert ordered the wrong part to begin with. My dryer went out a few weeks back I reached out he was able to come and figure out the problem. He replaced a part and all good. Well i call and scheduled for an appointment to get my fridge fix, technician showed on time and gave me a quote which they charge 40 bucks and go towards to the repair if you agree for the repairs. Everything was going pretty smooth but technician got in an accident so he couldn't make the repairs. I couldn't wait for my fridge to get fix so i call a different company but even-though ALL CODES APPLIANCE didn't do the repairs they deserve a good review for clarifying the situation. First off, I used this guy months ago to repair a minor washer issue which was fine. So I called him again for our fridge ice maker. He told me that the ice maker needed replacing and that the part needed to be ordered and showed me the online price for it. I Zelled him the amount $258 on the spot and he quoted me an approximate 3 day arrival time. After a week, I checked in with him And he stated that the part would be arriving the following day. I said that would be available in the next couple of days at anytime for installation. No response. A few more days go by at which point I'm sending him periodic texts as well as calls to check on the status of the part and when it can be installed...still nothing. So another week goes by and I call again and some lady answers the phone and as I'm starting to explain who I am she angrily says "yea, you mother fu*kers call all day, every day!" You know I have some serious mix feelings about this company's overall service. I year ago I called for service on my GE refrigerator. I was excited to use a woman owned company. Only to take note that, every person I have worked with in this company has been male, everyone! Let that be known. On my first service March 2020, The service guy opened the panel, didn't see anything, gave me some advise to do and here I am one year later with same exact problem. So one year later I call this company again, and scheduled an appointment. No one ever showed up and no one ever called me back about missing the appointment. Incredibly unprofessional. So I call them back to schedule another appointment. Because of the no show, the company provided me with a free a SERVICE call and 20% off repairs. Fair, I thought, I've give these guys another try. The service person came out, I explained the humming noise coming from the freezer he proceeded to and to ask me questions, and then told me to service my own refrigerator by cleaning the coils. I look at him and say "Sir with due respect you are here, why would I have someone come to repair and do service on my fridge to only be told I could do it myself. He states do you want me to do it for free? (Mine you, remember I was suppose to not be charge for my service call!) I'm look at him perplexed. Like other negative reviews for All Codes Appliance Repair/Robert I feel bad leaving a bad review but after many, many, MANY calls and texts Robert has not responded or given the minimal effort to fix the situation. A few months back I had All Codes Appliance Repair come out to my tenants condo to fix her refrigerator that was not cooling. Robert diagnosed the issue and said that it would need a new "board", I gave the OK, gave the deposit and waited, waited and waited for him to come back to fix it. Mind you, this is a few weeks of my tenant being without a fridge. I had already given Robert the deposit to order the parts so I was stuck, had he just told me that he was backed up or that there were sourcing problems with parts then I probably would have not gone with a repair and instead bought a new fridge. After two weeks of hounding Robert (Calls and texts with no response) he finally came back and "repaired" it. ...Until a month later when my tenant texts me to say that the fridge isn't cooling again. This is the point where I say enough is enough and buy a new refrigerator. After many more calls to Robert I finally get a hold of him to tell him that I will need to get a refund since he did not fix the fridge and needed that money to off set the cost of the new fridge. I let him know that the company delivering the new fridge would be removing the old one, so if he wanted to come over before they arrived, that he could verify that the fridge is not working so that he didn't feel that I was ripping him off and trying to get something for nothing.
