My 8 year old Bosch refrigerator had a shelf that had filthy liquid trapped between the glass and the metal and I didn't know how to get it out. They came out and he knew exactly what to do. He used screwdriver to pull the glass off so could clean it all and then put it back together and now it is very clean. It is not in the refrigerator book how to do this. This is a great appliance repair company. My GE refrigerator was not cooling although the freezer was. I called for service. They worked with my schedule and even gave me a text 20 minutes before (at my request since I knew I may not be home at the time the technician was scheduled). Technician diagnosed the issue, gave me a proposal for the repair. Once agreed, the part was ordered and schedule set to instal the part. Technician went beyond in providing service. I just reread my original Yelp five star review of them from nine years ago. I have used them a few times since then. The latest was this weekend for my Viking refrigerator when it stopped working. I was able to get an appointment on Friday night for them to come out Saturday. Of course they didn't have the part but then again I don't expect them to have every single part for every fridge model on their truck or in their office. The part came in the day after the holiday and they installed it the same day. Hopefully, the fridge works for at least a few more years. No issues with the tech that came out nor any issues with their scheduling. I would use them again. read more

Our refrigerator was not cooling properly. The technician came on time and correctly diagnosed the problem. Five stars so far. We paid the $95 charge for them to come out. They did not have the part but would order it. I contacted them three times in the next few days. Each time the answered was "we will call GE to order the part and get back to you ASAP." We never heard from them again. They did not call or return to fix the fridge. I cannot recommend this business. The above is my original review. Following this, Sean called to apologize and explain. The fridge is a GE manufactured in Mexico. They attempted to find the part various ways including contacting the manufacturer in Mexico. They refunded our $95. I am very impressed with the repair service we received. I called on Thursday morning. They were able to send a repairman that same day. They even arrived before the arrival window! That is a very welcome and rare occurrence. Our tech was Max. He was polite, informative and got right to work. He quickly found that we needed a new ice maker. He looked it up, told us the price, and scheduled it for install the next day. We got an arrival window today of 2- 5 pm. Max returned at 4 pm today. Absolutely stellar customer service. I was contacted immediately and when I described my emergency situation, I was given priority and a technician arrived within 20 minutes! My refrigerator and freezer, which were full of food, had stopped cooling. I was expecting family from out of town and had stocked my fridge the day before. The tech quickly diagnosed the problem and ordered the part and was again given priority status for my repair. I was advised to put most important food at bottom of fridge where it would remain safe and cold until the part could be replaced. I gave away everything else to my neighbor. The service I received from Ben at the office and Steve performing the repair was stellar. I was concerned that being in Long Beach the service area did not cover Redondo Beach. Ben assured me they covered my area. I had found a hole in the washing machine gasket. Ben found the part based on the model number, for which he patiently waited while I found my magnifying glass to read the model number from the machine (THANK YOU!!!), and gave me a quote over the phone for part and labor. Labor, BTW, included a "look over" of the machine and hoses while it was out from under the cabinet in a teeny tiny space. Fabulous. Steve gave me a call half an hour before arrival. When he arrived he efficiently performed his task, and graciously cleaned up the dog and cat hair collected under and behind the machine before reinstalling. I inquired would the final payment be the same as the quote and the answer was yes! Check paid. Could have used Zelle! Done. At any rate, I contacted Pacific Coast when I was having a problem with my fridge; their responses and scheduling were timely, and when the first repair failed (due to no fault of theirs) and I notified them after hours, I received an immediate call and scheduling for the following morning. Ultimately another part was required, and the only reason it took two days to have it replaced was because I couldn't be home the next day; otherwise, Alexander would've been back the next morning. I previously also had them check out a problem with a washing machine - so far, we're just waiting for it to give up the ghost, at which point I'll simply replace it, but the bottom line is this is now the company on my shortlist for any future appliance repairs. I don't hesitate to recommend them. Worth noting that pricing is fair, and the two technicians with whom I've had experience are both knowledgeable and kind. Tech initially diagnosed the problem as a faulty thermistor on the dryer. Returned a couple days later with the new part but quickly found that wasn't the only problem. Further troubleshooting indicated the main control board has also gone bad. Now we're talking the cost of a new dryer to continue repairing this one. No pressure to make the additional repairs and even provided advice on which brands are good/reliable based on his experience. read more

An error message on fridge could not be resolved. Max came and diagnosed two faulty dampers which could be replaced for a reasonable price. Better than buying a new fridge!
