Most things I get from here normally is pretty good. Today I had a taste for a steak burrito. When I received the bag I noticed it was kind of lightweight. Driving across route 80 decided I wanted Greek food to eat. It was great to get off the highway stretch our legs. The food was delicious and the server was very friendly. I'm giving it one star for this visit because they made me feel like a total asshole. As I was paying for my food and I had my work uniform on the clerk was going to give me a police discount. But because I work for the next town over they was like oh...she don't get it. How about treat all of us the same. I can pay for my meal. But when your municipality need help we're coming. Check your receipt when you go here. They charge higher prices than listed on the drive through menu. My sandwich was $5.39, and the total came out to $6.97. I asked him why the tax was so high and he said the price of the sandwich went up but because of covid they weren't able to change the prices on the drive-thru sign. They have a very good menu and good food, but forgot any expectation of knowing what you're paying. There is no current menu online, they don't have carry out menus and havent for a long time, even the drive thru board is not accurate. Unfortunately ordered 28.00 of food Monday night (2/1/21). Not a good way to kick off the month. Ordered the Gyro platter. The meet was burnt, cold and dry. Spinach pie was cold cheeseless and greasy. Frys were horrible all around. NO MASKS WORN BY THE PEOPE COLLECTING THE MONEY. THE GUY HANGING OUT AT THE COUNTER. Cooks do not know who to wear a mask. Johnny K's has one mean Gyro Platter! The Burgers and subs are A-OK too. Here's the skinny: Good Eats and the Gyro Platter is Ginormous! Old building... it's fairly well maintained though. Pac Man and Capcom v/s Marvel arcade games. Dine in has fast service & free refills. Drive thru is OK. Here's the fat: I've had a sub, some pasta,a cheeseburger, the Gyro Platter and most of their sides at some point or an other, I haven't found one that I didn't like. Now to the Gyro Platter, it's huge... giant... mega... I am NOT joking when I say that it feeds two people AND there'll be left overs. You get a whopping stack of meat, onions, tomatoes and Tzatziki Sauce. The only thing I do NOT like is the fact that they only give you TWO pitas to go with all that... and then they charge like $3 if you want two more. The building is old and has kind of a 80's feel to it. They keep in pretty well maintained it seems, bathrooms need some work but, not bad. tables and booths are the standard style, nothing fancy. The Pac Man and Capcom v/s Marvel arcade games are in the back of the dining area. I've played 'em a few times while waiting on my food to be brought to the table. Good times. The problem with Johnny K's is that you never know what you're going to get. Sometimes they're really good, sometimes it's gross. I used to order chicken strips from here, but they went down in quality so badly that I've stuck to ordering a gyros platter ($9.99) It's not the best, but it's food. It comes with your choice of side, which I get Greek potatoes, and your choice of soup or salad. I will say I do like their lemon rice soup- I've never had a problem with that. They have decent cherry shakes ($3.99) too, and I appreciate that they'll deliver shakes. Often times, the staff is really unhelpful and rude. It's definitely not incentive to come here more often. Combined with the cheap quality and the price tag that doesn't match, I can take my $15 elsewhere and get better in town. If you're absolutely craving diner food, this place is okay, but not much to write home about. read more

Very rude service. Their prices have gone up considerably, yet they have decreased the quantity of their food. The fries use to be in larger bags as well as their drinks with the combos, were about at least a 22 oz....The fries are now in a very small bag, and the drinks are down to a 12oz, yet the prices are higher about 20%. I ordered a gyro. Get home and there are no onions on my gyro. I call them, they ask if I want to come back, well I am all the way home now. I requested a sandwich credit. They stated they do not give credits. They then proceeded to tell me I could come back tomorrow, and they would replace what I was not given... I said, "so I am going to come all the way over there for just some onions, since you won't replace the sandwich"? I guess she realized how ridiculous that was, and she could not even answer. We moved but he was in the area and just got home with the wrong order. he ordered a turkey sub (our normal order) and the woman in the drive thru misheard him and gave him a veggie sub.
