We moved into our home in December and our front lawn looked like the amazonian rain forest. We hired Johnny to rebuild the lawn after a month of failed attempts to rip it apart ourselves. It took him a few weeks to finish the lawn and the result is beautiful. Unlike some landscapers who want to be in and out in a day or so for some quick $$, he really made sure he took all the times it needs and finished all the steps to eliminate as much weed as possible in order to keep the lawn neat in the long run. He also replaced the broken sprinkler system and eliminated a bunch of gophers that were living in our lawn. We started working with Johnny about June of this year. I messaged him on Yelp and he scheduled a consult the very next morning. He and his crew are AMAZING! our lawns were in rough shape and he came in with some recommendations to improve the landscaping. He is very reasonably priced for the service you get and he is always responsive to our needs and questions. For instance, we needed a back shrub cut back and we had gophers, so the guys cut back the shrub and put gopher traps for us. His guys do a great job every week manicuring our new grass. For reference of service: he leveled out the front yard and redistributed the dirt to the backyard. He killed all the weeds that were overtaking both yards. He tilled both front and back yards and seeded. He installed a solar powered sprinkler system and fixed or existing sprinkler set up. I used to hate looking at the dirt/weeds in both yards and now I love the beautiful grass! Their work has transformed the look of our house and upped its curb appeal 1000-fold. I had Johnny come to my house for an estimate. I needed to add sprinklers for better coverage. He tested all the sprinklers and told me I did not need anything changed and that I simply did not have the times set better to properly water the lawn and saturate the brown spots. I was a bit blown away...he could have easily done some simple, but unneeded work for his benefit and named his price, but instead he just identified a simple problem that I could solve in 5 minutes. He even smelled the water as being a bit stagnate, indicating the last water was too long ago. He went on to offer advice about fertilizer and the types of trees I had, and better types of sprinkler heads to use when I replace the old ones. I offered to buy him lunch for all his effort, but he would not take my money! I am rarely impressed with anyone, but this guy was professional, honest, and knowledgeable.
