I booked Viva for my wedding and let's just say there was mis-communication…read more I talked with Ken who was very nice and helpful. My wedding required some organization as I had a few different locations to go to. Last we talked I thought we had it squared away. Here's what happened: First: Party Bus = Shuttle. They arrived right on time so that was great and no one was late to the wedding. Shuttle came back right on time and took us from ceremony to reception. I was promised the limo would have champagne for us to celebrate after the ceremony. There were champagne glasses but no champagne. So that was disappointing. Here is a direct quote of what I was promised: "Yes we always provide champagne for the group ( 1 bottle per six ppl so you will get 2 bottles). As for decorations we typically try to dress up the inside with wedding party colors and a couple signs." Yeah there was 0 of that. 2nd thing was when they came back to pick us up after the party was done. Luckily I was in a good mood b/c they did not come back in the party bus like they promised. They came back in a standard sized limo. I had told them to pick us up in the party bus since that's what I paid for. The shuttle held 12 people, I needed to get 12 people back, the Limo only held 8 people I think. So I told the driver deal with it we're all cramming into the limo so the bride and groom sat on the floor of the limo with their bridal party laid like sardines on top of us. Ugh....I just hate miscommunication when I put in so much effort to make sure everything was squared away and the Limo was, I thought, one of the only vendors I didn't have to stress about and turned out this was the only vendor that messed up!

How much time do I want to spend during the day for wine tasting? What about lunch? and my answer was ... This event will be "first time" for most of my guests and I just want a safe, fun and hassle free day or everyone. Immediately, Ken responded with OK!!! then you do not want a limo considering you will have 16 people, it will be crazy getting in and out of the limo after a few drinks. He recommended the mini party bus. OMG the mini party bus was the highlight of our day!!!!! I can't tell you enough how successful it was to be able to celebrate my 40th birthday with my family and close friends. We also booked Ken to pick us up from our house and take us to Pechanga, we had our own personal DD :-) Thank you Ken for providing such an awesome service. Our limo driver was a rough-looking middle aged man, but he took great care of us. He's the warrior with a heart of gold, and his code of honor reminds me of the samurai of old. After all the adventures he'd been through in life, it looks like he just wants to settle down into a quiet life of retirement and save up for a boat. He also doubled as personal security, because a gang of cybernetically enhanced mercenaries attempting to harvest carriers of the mutant genome in order to build an army of super humans as part of a large scale plot for world domination attempted to kidnap us, but they were no match for his adamantium skeleton and mutant healing factor.

The TV and sound system were great and we were so grateful that Brendan was so mindful of our time. He was a great driver and he kept us hydrated with water while we went from winery to winery. He did not communicate that I needed to pay him the full amount PLUS his entirely subjective amount of "GRATUITY" which he felt he deserved before the job was even completed and before he would even leave his house to go pick up my friend. Out of desperation as it was now two hours past the original pick up time I agreed but he continued to repeatedly scream into the phone at me shouting "IF I DON'T SEE THE FULL PAYMENT IN MY ACCOUNT I WILL NOT PICK UP!!!" He then proceeded to give me the wrong phone number for his PayPal account, a phone number I verified with him by sending him a screenshot before I sent the money. And yet, it was still incorrect. So, now PayPal is holding $144 of my money for 30 days while they wait for this man to open a PayPal account which won't happen because he already has a PayPal account, he just gave me the wrong number for it. Speaking of PayPal, again because I was desperate, I sent another $144 to the correct PayPal he gave me which brings me to the PayPal case I had to file which was not because I said he didn't return the money it was because I did not receive the full amount back because he stuck me with the $4.31 fee they charged I guess because his was a business account. All this yelling has left this man extremely confused and incapable of communicating with other human beings. Either that or he needs to lay off the sauce.

The antiquated online form on the web site asked for all the details including destinations, hours, passengers etc. Once I submitted the form I received an email with quotes. I emailed back with my selections and asked for next steps to secure the date. I then received an email asking me to email, text, call or submit ANOTHER form asking for the exact information plus credit info. I decided I would just text to avoid another form. The text asked me the exact information, destinations, passengers, hours, I already provided and when I brought this to their attention they said they didn't have the ability to look through all the quotes even with my name. In this technology driven world I find it frustrating and inconvenient to repeat. I provided my card number to the owner David and explained this process of booking is very cumbersome. He tried to run the card and sent a screenshot showing declined. I asked to run again and he said the screen showed fraud but when I asked for a screenshot of that message he said he couldn't send for security. The whole process from then made it feel sketchy. It was obvious to me he did not want me as a client. I ended up calling Steve from http://www.exquisite1.com/. He was nice and I was able to book in minutes. I provided same card and it worked just fine. I also ran the card separately with the same system they used and it was approved again just fine.
