Great combination of sports on all the TV's. We happened to be here on a Thursday, which the Prime NFL game was playing. The pace was slow but hey, you're in Kauai. Dropped in to watch the Super Bowl. The place is spacious with plenty of tables, booths and outdoor seating. The bar has plenty of seats too. Lucky we got here early because the inside seating filled up quickly. Outside didn't have a TV and it seemed that most of the people were there to watch the game. They have a pretty full menu but we ordered your standard bar food -wings, tots, and onion rings. They have many flavors of wings, but we chose buffalo, garlic, and spicy rub. The chicken itself was juicy but the flavors were lacking. Despite it being packed and understaffed the service was good and the staff there we're doing the best they could with what they had. You can see two gentleman in the back hustling getting the food orders out as quickly as possible. We appreciated the fact that they let us know ahead of time that things maybe a little delayed due to only having two servers. Omg. This place really takes pride in their recipes and it pays off!! Their in-house dry rub is fantastic- and you can taste the difference between fresh oil and old oil! This place (unlike most) uses fresh oil only and keeps their chicken fry oil separate from the shrimp ... which is a BIG deal for any allergies! We went during happy hour each time and ordered Mai Tais, and both agreed they were they best drinks we have ever had, not to mention the best priced that we found on both Maui and Kauai. Our server on each occasion was Melissa, who served every table (as well as the bar) completely by herself, and did so with patience. Despite her being quite busy at all times, she took time to get to know us during our trip and even bought us two drinks for our honeymoon! It's amazing how early restaurants close on the island. We were happy to see this place open and went in. We were seated quickly. It was a Friday night with a band playing and few customers. We had four people. Three of our entrees came out. Then the appetizer. Finally the fourth entree. No real explanation or apology. It looked like there was only one cook. Food was hot and tasty. I enjoyed my spicy chicken sandwich. Everyone in the group seemed to enjoy their meal. The band was good, too. If service was better/consistent I would have given them 5 stars. Located in Kapaa very close to where we were staying, our local friends brought us here for some chicken wings and to watch the game. It's a nice spot with multiple TVs but they were pretty busy and understaffed. We ordered some different types of chicken wings which were really good, to be honest we were already super drunk so we just needed sustenance. Our friend wanted the steak but they were out so she got the shrimp but it turned out to be coconut shrimp. We got a couple of drinks too. We went to watch a Football Game and the atmosphere was so much fun! Surprisingly the food was good too! We had the Mahi burger and it was on a big bun, loaded with Mahi with all the fixings. The BEST part of our experience was Melissa, the bartender/waitress. I counted 50 people and she was the only Server! She was so efficient and was friendly, accommodating and happy serving everyone. We were one of the few people there early on Sunday but from the few people who came in while we were there it showed that this place had a great atmosphere.
