My perception of the value for this establishment was high. We needed a place to spend a few hours before heading to the airport. I found this place on Yelp and thought I would take the kids here. We spent $120 which got us 4 buffet meals, and 2 players cards that lasted a long time. Also each card came with 2 rides. We spent a three hours there and it was perfect. Perfect place to go for my 4 year old. She had a blast. There's a little of everything for her - games, rides, food. She enjoyed being able to swipe her card and play whichever games she chose. Worth the price and a $30 game card lasted us 4 hours! We went on a Friday at opening and there was no one there - we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Some of the game machines weren't working and finding an associate was tough. They seemed to be short staffed but I guess with few people there, they didn't need so much manpower. Anyway, games and rides were cool. Now, the food. Unlimited pizza and drinks sounds amazing but options for kids with special diets were limited at best so taking advantage of this deal wasn't an option BUT if you do eat pizza and soft drinks, this is a steal! Will definitely be back! Oh, and cleanliness. The place was pretty clean and so were the bathrooms. I was actually surprised at how clean. If I could give half a star I would. This place was terrible. The chicken was disgusting and gross. the pizza and sugar cookies were the best out of all the food and desserts. My daughter was almost in tears, she dropped her game card in Hungry Hippo game behind the dome, due to where it dropped, the employee couldn't retrieve it. He was able to see enough card numbers, took a picture and zoomed in to recreated the card with all the saved credits and tickets on it. My daughter was soo happy, she thought she wasn't going to get on the roller coaster. I THINK the employee was Oswaldo, he was working the front entrance area, about 5'8", dark glasses & a black goatee working on 5/9 6-8pm. I went to John's today because one of my kiddos got a certificate for a free buffet through her school. I was impressed. I felt like it was more adult-friendly than our local Chuck E Cheese. Coffee was a drink option at the buffet! There is also a separate area where adults can purchase alcohol. But back to the kiddos, they really enjoyed it. After, we went to the arcade section where one $20 card kept them busy for about an hour. Then they went home with some small trinkets from the ticket redemption counter. It's a bit of a trek from our house but I hope we make it back here again. read more

Reading the reviews we didn't have high expectations. Thank goodness because John's incredible pizza lacks the incredible. The food was mediocre at best. The deserts weren't good at all. It was edible but not that good. The arcade was also a little sad. Many of the games were turned off or didn't do anything when you swiped your card. Angry birds didn't have the bird (the actual object that the game is about). Pac-Mans joystick was the opposite of the game, meaning if you pushed it to the right Pac-Man would go left. The dinosaur grab game didn't work so he would swipe back and forth but never grab (open & close) with his mouth to win the toys. There were many other games that didn't work. Thank goodness our family can have a good time with what's available to us. Knowing in advance not to expect anything great did help us to be prepared for how the evening went. We were hoping the not great reviews were not correct but it's all good. We wanted to try anyway. The roller coaster however, was small but the kids LOVED IT, so that's good. I'm not sure I dig it as admission is expensive even with a coupon. Yes, I said it! They charge entry - for adults and kids! Ends up being pretty expensive all in. Pricing was seems to have changed a few dollars since opening. Groupon was offering a $25 package for entry and a game card. Then, on top of it all, you need to buy gaming points to play with anything (shooting games, racing games, guessing games, sports games, traditional arcade games, rides, put put golf). ...Except for the baby area that is free (which is suitable for only for babies - my 4 year old wanted nothing to do with it as it was worse than the 2 ft plastic slide we have at home). It is NOT toddler town. 4 STARS - Games and experience The games are fun and seeing as how the location is new, the games were new. The motorcycles, race cars, snow mobiles, trucks, etc are shiny. Too bad there was always a bum motorcycle down each time we visited. That means my 2 boys can't race like they wanted. 3 STARS - Food and beverage The pizza sucks. I hesitated about giving food 3 stars as the pizza here is terrible. It's not crispy or loaded with toppings. Location: HUGE & Plenty of parking! Food: Buffet with: tons of different Pizza, Pastas, Fried Chicken, Salad bar, Baked + mashed potato (go for it.. go all out!, thats what i did!), dessert section with includes self serve ice cream + ICEE!!!!! There was hardly anything filled on the buffets and everything was nasty. Dirty dishes in the clean ones and pizza on the bathroom floor. Nastiest place I've ever been into. Not sure how they're still open running like this. I was not about to eat here so money waisted! Many of the games did not work and mini golf was closed. I want a refund. I really like this place the games are fun and stuff I love playing Guitar Hero here. But I'm very sad with my tea.. I usually get sweet tea when I come here but this time my sweet tea wasn't tea at all. Others at my table tried it and told me it was watered down Root Beer. What happened to my sweet tea.. DIRTY ! It's really bad. The health dept should be notified. The plates on the bottom are caked in filth and all cups seem just rinsed and dry. The coffee cups especially you can see the old coffee rings inside lipstick imprint and all! You can see food residue on everything . The employees don't clean and the food selection is very limited. The ice cream machine is broken on one side and the desert cups are oily from probably the water rinse they use and just really gross. Most food seems available unless you ask and then you have to wait 15-30 mins. I won't be going back to this location again because it's expensive and they don't value their customers if this is the level of service they provide. A large amount of Game machines are not working . They need repairs on about 30-40% of them it seems like at this rate they won't be there much longer with this level of service. read more

This place is really amazing! I took my boys here on a Friday at 11am. There were only about 10 other guests here but numerous employees. All of the employees were incredibly friendly and helpful, including Brian, the manager. My family played for about an hour and fifteen minutes before running out of our 110 credits. After playing, we went over to the food side. Amazingly, the food was pretty damn good! We really enjoyed it. There was a woman who found a screw in her salad, but Brian looked into it and took care of that very quickly. We had a ton of fun, found no lines for anything, tasty food, and a really great environment. I would never chance this place on a weekend as I'm sure it's a madhouse, but we had a lovely time. read more

Shoutout to John's Incredible and Yelp for hosting this event. John's Incredible is an arcade categorized between Chuck E. Cheese and Dave & Buster's. Not as kiddie as Chuck E. Cheese but not so mature like D&B. Yelpers were given 4 admissions with buffets and $10 game cards/pp which totaled to ~$98.. so generous! Smooth entry as long as you had the QR code. Employees were super friendly and helpful. The food was not that great. Everything was bland including the soda and ice cream (tastes watered down). Pizza was chewy. Everything else seemed lukewarm. Also, the AC was BLASTING. I was freezing the entire time. Even though it was a hot summer day, we're in South Bay which doesn't get THAT hot. This was probably why the food was lukewarm. Game selection was okay. They range from 2-15 credits. They have bumper cars, mini golf, and a "roller coaster" ride. Since it was pre-opening, some of the games were not functioning. Everything was super clean but it was pre-opening so everything was new. Kinda pricey to come regularly considering you must pay for a buffet to enter. read more

I haven't heard much about John's Incredible Pizza until just before the event. Honestly, I've never even heard of it. After a little research, I found that they had a handful of locations in So Cal already. I would describe it as mix between a Chuck E Cheese & Dave N Busters, but better. Buffet entrance is $9.99 & then you purchase their Fun Card which is what you use in the arcade part. It's all you can eat salad, baked potato bar, nacho bar, pizza, pasta, fried chicken with mashed potato, corn & veggies, dessert bar & their is alcohol for sale at the bar for those that want to partake, separate cost for alcohol, of course. ***** Vegan & Vegetarian Options ***** Make sure to hold on to your receipt, they will check it when you get into a dining lounge if your choosing. I suggest having one person in your group hold down a table, while others get food. Make sure to grab a black tray, that will literally save your life. We came on Saturday, July 27th around 2:30pm. It was 3 of us & we got into the buffet for free & were each given $10 fun cards, which equals to 40 credits. The indoor golf costs 14 credits & the other rides (roller coasters & bumper cards were about the same, 12-14 credits). I don't personally think the the golf & rides are worth that many credits, but to each his/her own. I'd much rather use the credits for games to earn tickets or to try to win toys in the claw games. Sign up for their free membership so you can "Spin the Wheel" & get an additional prize like fun cards, discounts to future visits to their buffet and get emails on promotions & deals. My husband & I decided that we were pretty much giving our game credits to our 8 yr old nephew, but they did play a game of golf, which cost 28 credits in total. Then we let him play more games for about an hour. We took a break to watch UFC at the Hall of Fame dining lounge & then returned to gaming. After a total of another hour that's when we purchased $20 more of games, which equals to 90 credits. We played that for another hour & we won toys from the claw along the way. We spent all of our credits & then we decided to grab refreshments & hang in Toon Time before heading out. We were all exhausted, but really happy because we had a blast! The pizza & food are far better than a Chuck E Cheese, & much cheaper. Tons of food options & although they had s lot of games, it's not sensory overload & didn't have games that kids (or adults who don't game regularly) couldn't understand. I felt like the credits lasted much longer than Dave N Busters & it won't break the bank. * Wish they had a Ventura County location * Tons of parking * Easy entrance * Lots of food & replenishes frequently * Clean bathrooms right in the front of the business * Great service * Excellent value * Family friendly TRUST ME, WE WILL BE BACK! For alcohol and bumper car rides, you have to tap on the tablet for an attendant. The food choices were horrible. There was not much to choose from. The food was very dry. We only had pizza, nuggets, and soft serve ice cream. The mojo potatoes were burnt to a crisp. The attendant just dumped the fresh batch over the burnt mojos. The ice cream machine was a total mess. Interesting was the robot moving from room to room with the dirty dishes. The game prices are reasonable and many games to choose from. Will we be returning to this location? Hmm. Do not have a party here It's fine for every day regular fun Your party experience will be horrible for the amount you pay I paid over $1,500 for a birthday party for 37 people Their unprofessional employees messed up counting guests at the front and sent a security guard to our party who loudly accused us of being 17 people over and that we needed to go up front to pay immediately. Did they not see that our room did not have 54 people in it? Not only would 54 people not fit in that room but we actually had less than the 37 guest we paid over $1,500 for. The service in the party room was horrible. There was no trash cans and the tables at a buffet establishment weren't getting bussed so we had to clear the tables ourselves and they got mad at us. Many of our guests are business owners. One owns 3 restaurants. We all know how the food service industry should be run. This place horrible! I just had my daughters 10th birthday party. Where so I even begin.. first off all the room we were using was dirty, smelly and so hot!!!! Secondly we were supposed to have a host, to play games and help out etc. they would come in introduce themselves and then disappear. They offered to bring a pizza and it didn't come until almost the end of the party. For the money we oh this is unacceptable. Now let's talk about the buffet.. absolutely disgusting! Idk how they can even be open of how unsanitary it is. Trash everywhere, food on the floor on the counters. It's not ok. Lastly... half of the games didn't even work. Most of the negative reviews are from people who visited during the weekend when they are the busiest. Avoid Friday night, Saturday or Sunday. I only visit mid week and have always had a positive experience. They are not a buffet anymore. Instead, the food is made to order and a server will bring it to your table. They still use the buffet area to hold items before bringing it to your table. A physical barrier has been put up to prevent kids from wandering into the food prep area. You seat yourself and place food orders from your phone. Service is fairly fast and friendly. The pandemic has improved the food quality at John's Incredible Pizza. The pizzas are loaded with toppings now and the crust is crispy. My daughter and I ate at least 6 slices of the combo pizza. Their pasta sauce tastes freshly made. The sauteed vegetables are very flavorful. Even though they don't do salad bar anymore, their pre-made salads are actually really good, especially the cobb salad. read more
