My wife and I remodeled our kitchen and wanted a 48 inch range with double ovens. Since this was a fairly large purchase, we wanted to purchase local in case we had any problems. This turned out to be a very good decision. We purchased a dual fuel Bertazzoni from Johnson Brothers. From day one, the ovens would not come to the correct temperature (burned food) based on the temperature selected by the dial. Bertazzoni sent appliance repair out to our house 3 times and still could not repair the problem. After the 3rd time Bertazzoni then wanted to send one of their reps to our house to show us how to cook. The fact that you could not trust the temp in the ovens based on the dial setting seemed to have been forgotten and they insisted the range was operating as designed. Since Bertazzoni would not replace the range or refund our money, we asked Johnson Brothers to 'Make it right', since we had purchased the range from them. They responded immediately by giving us full credit for the Bertazzoni and, giving us discount pricing on another range from a different vendor. We were very smart to purchase local and so lucky to have purchased from Johnson Brothers. They resolved a very bad situation for us and we are thrilled with the solution. Johnson Brothers, Tammie in particular, did the right thing and took responsibility when the vendor would not. This puts them number one in my book for all future appliance purchases, and I would highly recommend them to others. read more

My parents bought very expensive, high-end #Thermador appliances at Johnson Brothers a few months ago. They spent upwards of $7k for new oven, microwave, and stove top range. Their microwave and oven worked for about 3 weeks and then stopped working, displaying some unknown and evidently unidentifiable error code. It took the repair folks 3 weeks to even come to take a look, then they left without doing anything. It has been one brush off to the next by both the repair people and the Johnson Brothers' owner and employees. They have claimed that they are contacting the rep, that they don't know what the error codes mean, etc. Meanwhile, my parents, in their late 70s, have NO microwave or oven. It has now been upwards of two months or longer and they still have no appliances. It is now approaching Thanksgiving and my mom is trying to figure out how to cook a meal without her appliances. Johnson Brothers states that they must have the option of repairing the appliances before they will execute a warranty to replace them. But nobody at their company is prioritizing the repair so my folks are just patiently waiting for some response from them to resolve the issue. At some point, customer service needs to become a priority and this company, who was paid thousands for appliances that are not functional, need to step up and replace these appliances at their expense. read more

Mike Gango and Mark Johnson of Johnson Brothers TV and Appliance are why my wife and I have bought appliances from them since 2002. These guys are top quality in customer service. Absolutely. EXAMPLE: We purchased a Kitchen Aid wall oven at the end of Oct, 2016. All was good until the first week of Nov, 2017. The oven was in the middle of self-clean when it went buzzurk. Temps went past 500 degrees, melted plastic storage containers in drawer below the oven and then it froze. At first, Kitchen Aid said "Soo Sorry - out of year warrenty!" Mike Gango and later Mark Johnson of Johnson Brothers went to work on the case. They made clear that a $1,900 oven should not fail in such short time and replacements should be made UNDER WARRNETY. There also may be other problems due to the high heat event. Kitchen Aid saw the wisdom of Mike and Mark's point of view and covered the failure. All was good for about 25 days until the entire electronic, touch panel control board went out. After an extended effort by ... you guessed right ... Johnson Brothers, Kitchen Aid once again saw the wisdom of repairing the electronic control panel under warrenty. We apprecieate Kitchen Aid for being a good corporate ( and cutomer oriented) citizen and MOST OF ALL Mike and Mark for bird-dogging an appropriate solution to an equipment failure that should not have happened. read more

I had the absolute best experience with Johnson Brothers Appliances. My Samsung washer bit the dust so I was in desperate need of a replacement. I knew exactly what washer I wanted before I called so when John Whitson answered the phone he was super happy and helpful to get me right where I needed to be with my new Speed Queen washer. John was pleasant, charming, and made the whole process super easy for me while I juggled my work schedule. I toyed with the idea of getting a dryer at the same time and John was super helpful and accommodating to try to make that happen but put zero pressure on me to buy both. I later decided to wait out my current dryer but I will absolutely be back to Johnson Brothers for all my future appliance needs. I was told it'd take a week to get the delivery (no problem, I waited this long to get a replacement) and when I called back on Tuesday, John let me know that they could deliver/install/remove old washer the same day! Sure enough, the delivery team was there right when they said they would be and installed in a jiffy. I can't wait to get home to my new washer. Thank you John and thank you Johnson Brothers Appliances. I was all set to go to one of the big box stores but there is something reassuring about working with a local store that makes the whole process feel better. Thank you so much! read more

I love these folks. Last fall our dishwasher died -- they found us the perfect replacement at a good value and made sure it fit into a TILED-IN space in our 15 year old kitchen counter area. We wanted white to match our existing appliances and they found one, even though white is not currently in vogue. A month later our refrigerator needed to be replaced...also 15 years old... and they found a WHITE french door fridge that just fit into the existing cabinetry within a 1/16 of an inch. Again delivered and installed and a great value. Today someone they referred us to "Lance and Vicki" here in Redmond came out and repaired our slide in (tiled in) Jenn-Air range ... we spent just under $400 for parts and labor -- they did not mark up the cost of the parts (as another bidder did) and did not insist on a paid diagnostic visit to be followed by a parts and labor visit to repair. Lance expertly diagnosed the problem over the phone, reassured us he could do the job, and shared that a certain function in most ovens will cause such a malfunction. We are grateful because a new stove similar to the existing one would have been THOUSANDS of dollars. And praise to our Lord because what I described above was in God's hands and we feel blessed. One year ago we purchased new appliances from Darren. We had visited several box stores and while finding many of the associates to be knowledgeable of their products we did not find the complete experience to be acceptable. There were too many instances where the person we dealt with at one store was not even there 6 months later. Darren has been at Johnson Brothers for several years along with numerous others. This speaks volumes for the family environment exhibited. When our refridgerator decided that the ice fan motor was wanting to make noise we contacted Darren and he hooked us up with a repair service. The people he sent out were great. However the same fan went out months later. We contacted Darren and he indicated that we were out of warranty but he would go to the manufacturer on our behalf. He was successful and a replacement unit was installed. Johnson Brothers is a wonderful store with employees who care about the long term relationship of their customer and sales. I've been in the market for a new mattress for about 6 months and it finally came to the top of the list! For the past 3 months or so, I've done a lot of research both online and asking friends about their mattresses and whether they were pleased. I also visited 3 local businesses here in Bend that sold mattresses. I'm a big fan of shopping local, so I went to Johnson Brothers last week and met with Eric Hale who is the son of a friend of mine and who was recommended by another mutual friend. Well, he rocked it! My new mattress will be delivered next week and I'm so excited! Eric was friendly, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He didn't flinch when I popped back and forth between a couple of mattresses doing the "comfy" test! I even went back the next day after thinking about my choice overnight as I had narrowed it down to 2 different Sealy Hybrid mattresses. I finalized my decision and he wrote up the sale. We had to replace our dishwasher quickly but it's in a bad location, hard to get it installed. The last time we used a local box store HD, and the installation was a nightmare. With Johnson Brothers, they were right on time and the installer was such a great guy, I feel terrible I don't remember his name, but he did everything right. I couldn't believe has fast he had it done. No complaints on the difficult location and he even had to cut boards that he brought in order to make it fit correctly. I am so happy with my new dishwasher. This is the 2nd time I have used Johnson Brothers and I will be their loyal customer forever. The service is outstanding and the prices are fair. We moved to Bend last summer and purchased our new Electrolux W/D from Johnson Brothers. We love them and all went smoothly. When our 16 year old oven/range was diagnosed " unrepairable" we returned and worked with Mark Johnson. He helped us decide on a GE gas/ range/ electric oven. We had been told by the insurance repair company our current range was dual fuel. Well the very speedy less than two week delivery occurred, but they did not even un box the new range as the experienced delivery/ wharehouse manger quickly noticed that we have an all gas range. Well one call to Mark Johnson and the correct range was delivered and installed later that day. Talk about service. Made pancakes and scrambled eggs on the griddle today. He didn't try to sway me one way or another but purely presented the facts. I was contacted the day before about my delivery window timeframe. The day of, James contacted me to say he was on his way. They arrived promptly at the beginning of the window of time I was given - loved that! He was very professional, efficient and he too was able to answer all of my questions. I had a problem with my dishwasher recently, and called Johnson Brothers. Their repairman came as promised and found the source of the problem fairly quickly. He did have to order a new hose, but he was back the next week and made his earlier temporary repair permanent. He left the kitchen clean and the dishwasher back up to snuff.
