Excellent fundraising event this weekend with the pie tasting that also included all of their homemade breads and neighboring farm Roselli's with their good homemade Italian products. Johnson's farm has very good prepared foods, very good pies and breads... And a very friendly staff. While prices are not cheap...the quality is there. read more

Just got back from tonight's strawberry festival. There were a lot of people, but the place is big and people were spread out. It didn't feel crowded at all. The hay ride was free during this event which was great. Picked some strawberries and ate some bbq food (cheeseburger and sausage). We had a great time. read more

We love coming to the farm for hayrides, to feed the animals and to play. Car shows in the summer are a plus! We hosted my son's 3rd birthday party at Johnson's this fall and everything was wonderful. We brought our own food, but ordered coffee and fruit salad from the farm. The kids had a blast and the parents seemed to enjoy themselves, too. We recently moved to the area and will likely purchase season passes this spring. read more

We visited 10/5/2020 and were very disappointed. Firstly, not everyone was wearing a mask. We purchased tickets to the barnyard, there was no one checking tickets so there were far too many people. And a few goats, sheep and a couple of ducks is not, in my opinion, a barnyard! There was also a donkey, but we didn't go over there because of the lack of mask wearing. We were there for less than an hour at a cost of $75. read more

My family has been coming here for years. Tonight we hopped in the car for some of their soft serve ice cream, a favorite ours. We checked before we left the house to see if we had time to get there as it's about a 10 minute drive. We got there 15 minutes before closing and got in line. After being in line for 5 minutes the girl working the counter announced that she was closing and we would not be served. We said to her that it was 10 minutes before the stated closing time. She acknowledged that we were right but that she was still closing down the window despite the fact that she still had 5 customers in line. So my wife and I drove back home and on our way, stopped at Daddio's Ice Cream in Marlton. BTW they serve customers courteously, were less expensive AND they don't let teenagers close their shop early. read more

Cash cow cash cow. No real charm to this place. My First and last time paying to enter a kids playground. Got the sense that the owners are more about finding ways to charge patrons for subpar everything under the sun, then to actually try to make it special and unique . Not worth it. Plus while looking through the tiny gourds I couldn't breath from all the rotten ones mixed in with flys. I visited this farm several times during the Fall of 2020, and had great experiences every time. Unfortunately when my husband and I visited last weekend it was not so great. We paid to go on the hayride to pick our own pumpkins but when we got out there we realized the field was sparse and full of rotting or smashed pumpkins. There were flies everywhere and it smelled terrible. We walked the entire field and had no choice but to get back on the hayride empty-handed. Our entire tractor ride back was full of other disappointed people who left empty-handed as well. Our driver just shrugged when my husband mentioned the poor state of the field, I guess at this point they already had our $14 to take the trip out to the field, so they didn't really care. When we got back to the main part of the farm we picked out 2 large pumpkins from the pre-picked area. One week later both pumpkins are completely rotten and falling apart, leaking sludge everywhere. I have never had pumpkins go bad so quickly - they usually last a long time, not a week! I am so disappointed in our experience, I feel like Johnsons was happy to take our money, and didn't care to ensure their guests had a good time or got their money's worth. We spent nearly $40 for nothing and will be spreading the word to family and friends to visit another farm. read more

Overcrowded. Lines way too long. $8 for 6 cider donuts is ridiculous. They definitely weren't worth it. Skip this place. Made me extremely claustrophobic and pushed my anxiety through the roof. read more

We love Johnson's Farm! It is the perfect place to go as a family. My boys love the play area (twin 2 year olds) and we stay for hours. The play area is fenced in and has its own (very clean) bathrooms. We also love the hayrides. My boys think picking their own pumpkins and (delicious) apples is the best! Their pies are fantastic and so is everything else in their store. I want to specifically recommend the buffalo chicken dip! So good! A typical day for us at the farm would include visiting the discovery barnyard, playing in the kids play area, drinking a hot cup of coffee from their store and leaving with something yummy to eat later in the day! read more

Most people complain that the prices are too high, but let me tell you that same person complaining about the prices will never complain about the following: friendly service - check competent service - check knowledgeable - check well trained - check great under pressure - check enough service/employess(because they are busy!) - check great outdoor area for kids - check great animal area, relaxing, user friendly and peaceful - check, check, check clean everything - check window service for food - outstanding, My God, I had an enchilada for lunch - check ice cream choices and flavor outstanding - check plenty of seating - check unexpected pleasures - Friday night car show and cookout - check, check inside baked goods - check fresh, delicious inside produce items - check, fresh , fantastic lots of bathrooms everywhere not port a potties - check!!!!!! ok and the grand finale...I went home with dinner done because I bought some chicken enchiladas and some black bean (vegetarian) enchiladas. So I was able to party all day with my kid and not have to worry about what was for dinner....CHECK!!!!!! People you get what you pay for. Yes, many things are kind of up there in pricing but they need to pay for all that excellent everything you will be buying. Keep up the fantastic work Johnson's. This by far is always a great family fun place to go! We get season passes every year and it allows endless hours of fun for the kids!! The list of "pick your own" are awesome. I am looking forward to making jams with the different fruits we pick! I love going into the farm market, I can ALWAYS find something yummy to bring home for dinner or dessert! My kids favorites are their apple cider donuts. You've gotta try the apple berry pie! The grounds are kept clean and the employees super nice! read more

It's a nice farm, my kids have fun there, but they charge you for every little thing. We like going pumpkin and apple picking. They charge you for the hayride out, then per pound for what you're picking, I believe the hayride is the only way you can get out there, still we do it every year. They charge adults to go into the playground, it's $30 for a family of 4, $10 per child and $5 for adults. It's a fun day, but an expensive one. read more

While we do enjoy Johnsons Farm when we go, it's gotten to the point we won't be returning. We went yesterday to Apple pick. Didn't have a wait (we arrived at 10), like how they have benches on the hayride as my parents were with us and are 69 & 70 years old and my Dad has cancer which has him using a cane. Farm hands at the wagons were respectful and helpful without making it seem like they were helping him. Loved! We pick the apples, pay (26.00 for apples on top of the 20.00 for the ride). My 3 year old wants to go to the playground. Fine she needs 2-4.00 tickets. Fine. Come to find out not only does she need 2 tickets, but every adult needs a 4.00 ticket as well. For a JUNGLE GYM!!! I said, are you serious? The clerk was snobby and made me seem like I was cheap! I would love someone from Johnsons to explain why my senior citizen parents (my dad had his mobilized scooter at this point) and 2 adults (36 & 38) have to PAY to go watch a kid on playground equipment! This has gone from a cute living farm to a cash cow that you are getting ripped off from. Disgusting! Go to Duffields, much better! read more

Absolutely the worst. If a family of four just wanted to see the goats that's 27 bucks. If your kid wants to go on the playground that's 13.50 for one adult one child. This place makes Linvilla look reasonable. Forget it if you want to do a hay ride and maze unless you get a second job. read more

This is a tradition in the Medford, NJ area. Christmas light display is awesome. Excellent quality food (esp produce, fresh corn in the summer and their pies). Prices are high, but my family is always excited when I bring a Johnson pie to an event. Very family oriented place. Always has enough cashiers for quick check out. read more

Farm and gift shop was beautiful- however as far as their Christmas Hayride light show goes it was mind blowing how lack of lights and decorations there was. Literally the nicest part of the hayride was the farmers house being lit up. I think you guys need to go on Creamy Acres hayride in Mullica Hill to see how magical & spectacular a hayride should be. They had a guide, & timed the music with the lights even. Not to mention every second of the hayride there was lights. For about the first 6 minutes of Johnson's hayride we were asking "when is this going to start". Huge fail guys and last tip is spend less time decorating the dumb tractor and seat we sit in and get out on the field and show us some lights! Will not be returning next year. read more

Overpriced and commercialized are two words that come to mind. I was going between 2 or 3 stars and just couldn't go higher. Sorry wish I could go 3-4 stars, but they are lacking for the reasons we go to a farm. The bad: Most of their products are not made on the farm and imported from other areas. That alone makes me want to give it 1 star. The apple cider doughnuts are decent, but other farms close by will offer them hot and fresh out of the oven. They make them early in the morning and throw them on the shelf. Overall prices are pretty expensive. The good: They have a "fair like" atmosphere that is fun for kids. I don't know of many other places that offer this. If you want to go just for this you will have a good time. We have gone picking for various vegetables and that was fun - again it feels a little commercialized but we had a good time. It's located in a decent spot and parking is convienent. read more

Such a cute place for toddlers, young children and those young at heart. Tons to do for all seasons. Went in summer, they have small splash pad with two small water areas. Kept the kids entertained for a while before going to another area within to play. The kids love the play stores. They have enough toys in each of the stores to keep them playing for hours plus a large sand pit with toys too -- No need to bring any with you. In the fall they have it nicely set up for Fall activities such as picking apples and pumpkins - also a great hayride to get out to the fields to do pick your own or you can just pick up at and buy too. Looking forward to Winter Wonderland! Def a great day trip. Well worth it. It's not free, so be prepared to pay to do activities. read more

I love this place, but beware things are a pretty penny here and can add up. We bought the $45 season pass that gets you (your significant other or caretaker) and your child admission to the barnyard and playground plus, a couple of free passes, and 7 hay ride tickets. Although it's not even summer yet and we only have one hay ride pass left. We love the "Pick your own" whatever is in season. It's worth the experience however watch out for the prices per pound. Forget about getting pumpkins here, but the fruit and veggies have been comparable to regular prices so far this season. I really wish that they wouldn't use pesticides though since my son can't wait to wash off the fruit before he eats it. How do you explain that to a hungry toddler? The prepared foods are pricey. I won't buy any more high priced hot dogs from there, and the sandwiches on white bread are $6.95 each! BYO lunch for sure. We try to stay away from the pies and cakes too. The toy prices are jacked up there also. They have seasonal cookie decorating that's totally worth the $7 because they clean up after you. The grounds are always immaculate. My son loves the playground and can spend hours in there. This is a real treat for your family. That's why we're always here. read more

I think everytime I go here its a scam. Everything is overpriced and everything is priced. Its not like the small town farm where can go on a hayride and bring home a buy. Visited the farm last Sunday for the first time. The hay ride out to the farm was really nice ($4.00 a person). We picked corn, peaches, and tomatoes. I got 24 ears of corn for $6.00, you can't beat that. The prices in the market are high but what do you expect for fresh goods. I would love to come back in the fall to pick some fall goods. All the employees were super friendly and informative. Overall it was a good day at Johnson's Farm. read more

We had our fourth grade field trip here this year. I had heard good things about this place over the years, but it is a bit further from home than Duffield's and we have been perfectly happy with that place. For a field trip, Johnson's was highly organized. They met the buses, unloaded the food, moved us around, moved our things, etc. flawlessly. That made a huge impression on me. The students had a lesson about seeds/plants. Each student planted four seeds and took them home with them. Then we took a hayride. Nice. I've never been on a hayride that actually had seats. The studens picked a pint of strawberries each. That was a lot of fun. When we returned, there was a little animal farm (goats, sheep, etc.) for the children to feed. There was some equipment for the children to play on. Then we ate in the picnic area. All was done nicely. I kept thinking we needed one more little activity to truly round out the trip. I was told we could have paid more and opened up another play area. I am a fan of educational learning on field trips. If there were another little learning center about plants, I would have been tickled pink. A good place and one where I will probably bring my own children to in the fall. read more

There is the farm to pick your own and the tractor hayride to the farm,farm store for seasonal fare and craftd concession stand and the play ground for the kids. This is very pricey, I only visit with little ones or a family adventure. As you can buy local produce at a much more resonable price. read more
