It's been way too many years since I've been back to my home country and I was craving Taiwanese food. Jojo's Kitchen: Taiwan Eats hit the spot! :) They break down their menu into big eats which is an entree or small eats which is the appetizer. I obviously ordered a small eats of Taiwanese sausage, and I wasn't disappointed in the taste, only that I wish I ordered more haha! Also I ordered braised pork belly noodles, wow this was yummy and the flavor was perfect. And then I also ordered a large of the popcorn chicken. And a milk tea. Yes this sounds like a lot of food, so yes I had leftovers :) I did see a picture sign for popcorn chicken bao and it looked so good I was sad it was sold out. Definitely will want to try that next time. I was very pleased with my food as it reminded me of home. I only wish I lived closer so I could go more often! And they have a buzzer that goes off when your order is ready so you can walk around, find a place to sit and get situated (as they don't have seating) or go to the bathroom. read more

Soup dumplings?! Say no more, if it's on the menu, I'm for sure ordering it! I love soup dumplings and the ones at Jojo's Kitchen did not disappoint! I love the juice/broth inside the dumplings was so rich and flavorful and it was steamed to perfection! The portion size for the fried pork chop and Jojo's House fried chicken fillet were so big, I couldn't finish it, maybe next time I'll just order one. Authentic Taiwanese food in Rancho Cucamonga! Jojo's is a real winner, as they offer all my childhood favorites, including fried pork chop, beef noodle soup, braised pork belly, dan dan noodles, xiao long bao and more! Because of the hot summer weather, I recently ordered their braised pork belly noodles. I'm a big fan of lu rou fan and this was essentially the same dish with noodles instead of rice. The noodles were cooked perfectly chewy and tossed well in the savory but slightly sweet pork belly sauce. They accompanied the super tender slices of braised pork belly, marinated egg and pickled mustard greens well. So refreshing and the portion size was really generous! Popcorn chicken is always a must for me at any Taiwanese restaurant, so I had to order a side of it. I'm glad I opted for the large because it did not disappoint! The chunks of chicken were big, juicy and tender. The seasoning was just perfect and really flavorful. We also ordered the salt and pepper shrimp, which was a complete game changer! I've never seen this at any other Taiwanese restaurant as a snack and was thrilled by how plump the shrimp was, as well as how amazing it tasted! Another tip - I highly recommend the Aiyu Jelly Delight! Being Taiwanese, I have fond memories of enjoying cold desserts with aiyu jelly every summer because of its refreshing quality! Jojo's version is great, as it's essentially lemonade with smaller chunks of flavorful lemon jelly. It truly is a delight to the tastebuds, as it's a great mix of tart and sweet - definitely a great way to cap off an affordable and tasty meal at Jojo's! A solid restaurant for Taiwanese food and they have a lot of the well-known noodle and rice options! Jojo's Kitchen is located in the Haven City Market along with the other food court options and you don't see it right away when you enter, so you have to walk around (but it's not too hard to find it). The parking lot is pretty spacious but the area doesn't look as clean so it did put me off a little bit. Came around the time of opening which was 11am, so the inside was quite empty and there were many tables available. However, a small concern would be that a lot of the tables and chairs didn't seem to be have been cleaned often, but again the restaurant isn't really in charge of this, but I just wanted to mention it. There was no wait at all. The staff member who took our order was nice, and food came quickly and was hot. My party ordered the mah jiang noodles, fried marinated pork chop, and the taiwanese sausage rice. I was in between mah jiang and dan dan but I ended up opting for mah jiang (but maybe should have actually went for dan dan or the braised pork belly). For the mah jiang noodles, it was good but tasted mostly like noodles with a lot of peanut butter sauce. There wasn't much sesame flavor. The sliced cucumbers and crushed peanuts were good with it. The fried pork chop was cut not too thick, but it was slightly dry. The taiwanese sausage was ok, nothing special about it. For all the items we got, it's a bit pricey for the portion size. Overall, Jojo's is another option added to my list of Taiwanese eateries. I'm not sure if I would come back, but it is a place where I could eat at if I am in the rancho cucamonga area and craving taiwanese food. read more

Stopped by Jojo's Kitchen for lunch and found yummy food for a great deal! We had the special house fried chicken filet and strawberry milk tea combo with a free crunchy egg roll! We also had the braised pork belly bowl. Everything was served hot and had the authentic Taiwanese flavors I was craving! The restaurant is located in Haven City Market where there is plenty of parking and indoor seating. We easily found a well lit table that was clean to sit at. This food court has some options so it's a competitive spot to be and Jojo's Kitchen rises to the top. Head inside and they are at the corner of Etiwanda Ave and Susan Sq straight in make a right and then a left at Etiwanda. Simple looking and packed with flavors you weren't even expecting. I had the popcorn chicken with their sweet and sour sauce for dipping to start. I'm not sure what they batter the chicken with but the seasoning used is something special. Not too salty, tender chicken, not too greasy, really just perfectly cooked. Best popcorn chicken I've ever had. The mustard greens are an very nice addition to the dish as well. Had some Tawainese sausage with garlic and yum! On to the main course, pork belly on rice. I've had pork belly in a lot of food mostly in tacos never a rice bowl and this pork belly is the best. You know when it's over cooked like bacon croutons or undercooked like a raw oyster? Well this is perfectly cooked and whatever sauce they put it in is epic. I tried it plain first and then added some of their chili oil and omg so good either way! The soy egg also awesome. Plenty of tables and a nicely decorated market with background music and good energy all around so grab a chair eat up or take it to go and enjoy. I finally ate here two evenings ago! When I first arrived, the guy at the cashier was really helpful and friendly. He answered all my questions and was able to narrow down what I would order to compliment other items I bought from other restaurants here in HMC. I love this simple little Taiwanese kitchen. So I ended up ordering the 3 small bowls for $13. Each dish included awesome white rice they make. The three items I ordered were (rated my favorite in order)... 1 popcorn chicken rice, 2 Dan Dan pork rice, and 3 Braised pork belly rice. My daughter and I loved and appreciated the great taste of the popcorn chicken the best, which was so flavorful!!! We definitely will come back again to try more items! Located in the Haven City marketplace, this is a good place for fast Taiwanese snacks! The salt and pepper shrimp and popcorn chicken are my go-to orders. Pretty standard/average as far as quality goes. Both don't stay crispy very long, so eating fresh is best. The service is always friendly, while the marketplace is usually bustling with large crowds. I did enjoy it and they fried it with basil, which gives off some good fragrance to this snack dish. I loved that they used dark meat for the popcorn chicken because each piece was juicy in the inside and crispy on the outside. Service was great. After paying, they gave me a restaurant pager. I walked around to find some seats for my party - and there are plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. Casual ambiance here. They are located next to the Shrimp Shack Cajun Cuisine stall. I rarely leave reviews, but I had to this time to vent my frustrations. I ordered the dan dan noodles for dine in. I expected a somewhat quick wait as I know the sauce for dan dan is typically already prepared and the restaurant only needs to cook the noodles. But unfortunately, I waited standing in front of the restaurant for 25 minutes. I saw the chef just standing in the kitchen not doing anything, and the cashier would glance at me every now and then. The cashier finally asked me what my number was and pushed my order up. Then the noodles came out and as I predicted, the cashier scooped the premade sauce over the noodles and added the premade egg and veggies. So I was apparently waiting for noodles to be boiled for 25 minutes?! I am almost positive it was not hand pulled so I have absolutely no idea why it took so long. My friends ordered before me at other places in the Haven City Market and were already halfway done with their meal by the time I got mine. The dan dan sauce was plentiful that I had extra sauce to bring home. Incredibly garlicky, pretty salty, but came out nice and hot. Overall, I wouldn't recommend unless you are really craving noodles and Chinese food. I wouldn't call the dan dan sauce traditional, it was a more American twist since there was a lack of sesame paste, or perhaps it was overpowered by the garlic. I think the Haven City Market probably has better options than this, but the $20 for two items looked like a great deal! read more

I haven't had much Taiwanese food in general so I can't tell you how authentic it is. However, I can say it was all very good. My friends and I tried quite a few things: Jojo's House Fried Rice, Taiwanese Sausage Rice, Mapo Tofu, Braised Pork Belly, Popcorn Fish, Popcorn Chicken, Taiwanese Sausage, and Xiao Long Bao. Some feedback: - Popcorn Chicken: Delicious. It was so good that I cleaned up the cup; no chicken or basil was left behind. - Braised Pork Belly: Not bad, and not my favorite. From the looks of it I thought it was going to taste like a Vietnamese pork dish but it didn't. - Xiao Long Bao: Also not bad, but I've had better. I wanted to check this place out because I felt like something completely different. The cashier working said hello and greeted us with a smile. They have a big selection so I decided to go with the fried rice and got an order of egg rolls. My friend ordered the pork belly bowl and some fried dumplings. Our order didn't take to long so we sat across the restaurant at the tables in front and the girl brought out the food to us which was so sweet. My daughter was craving Taiwanese food specifically braised minced pork over white rice. We decided to go to haven city after a morning of running errands for a late lunch and to satisfy everyone's cravings. You can't go wrong with tasty popcorn chicken. At Jojo's kitchen you have three options when it comes to fried things (chicken, fish and shrimp). Their XLB is super delicious and juicy. I personally loved their braised pork belly rice bowls. Meat was super tender and I loved the sauce they use to cook the pork belly in. I hate to do this comparison but to me it tasted like jjajang sauce like flavor to it. You could never go wrong with taiwanese sausage especially when you top that with garlic (melt in my mouth experience) Jojo's soda was very refreshing. It tasted like yogurt soda but a good kick to it. If I had more room in my belly I wanted to try their dandan noodles but I did't have much room left from dumplings and popcorn chicken in my belly. Love their restaurant logo almost look like the owner in a way but cute. Variety of options to pick from and definitely go return to try their other goodies. Check for their monthly specials. This is such a gem in Rancho Cucamonga! I did not expect to find such good comfort food here but it's in Haven City market and serves a variety of Taiwanese food and snacks! I've been here so many times in the past two years but usually stick with the same items: braised pork belly with noodles or rice and beef noodle soup. I also love their popcorn chicken! They also include some of the fried basil too! The salt and pepper shrimp is good as well and flavorful. The Taiwanese sausage and their aiyu jelly drink remind me of Taiwan. I came with some friends one time and tried a couple more items including the fried rice (very good), Dan Dan noodles (also very good), and mapo tofu (I couldn't handle the mala/numbing spicy haha). With the rising cost of food, I can still find full platter of popcorn chicken rice for $10. I ordered the 3 cup popcorn chicken rice. First impression. It looked like wet popcorn chicken with plain white rice underneath. And that was what it was. There are no sides, no pickled veggie, no broccoli. No bakchoy. No nada! Maybe a couple leaves of basil's, and that's about it! If the white rice was good as Hainan chicken rice then it would be nice. It's some plain tasteless rice without option. There is really nothing special. The popcorn chicken part was mehhh. Not the worst nor good. Couple pieces of chicken got bones. The 3 cup sauce could barely be picked up by my taste buds. It's all self serve but the POS preset with tips. So watch out for it. Overall, I was very disappointed and dissatisfied with the food and plus the price. It's a 1.4 out of 5.0. read more

I love the name of restaurant because it's literally translated into Uncle's Taiwanese Kitchen. I am finally exploring Haven City on a Sunday afternoon. Jojo's one of the main places I wanted to try the most. One of the reasons, I love Taiwanese food. The entire food court is huge but it shouldn't be hard to locate and from what I remember, it is in front of Belly Snout. When It comes to taiwanese food, you got to try the salt and papper snacks, we ordered one of everything, Popcorn Shrimps, chicken and fish. I haven't seen it in any other place where they include shrimps and fish. I love the fish and shrimp, very crispy texture and good amount of salt and pepper flavor. I ate so much of it. The taiwanese sausage is a hit! sooooo good!!! Xiao Long Bao is one of the new items on the menu and the flavors are there, very juicy. it comes with soy sauce vinegar and shredded ginger. Noodle and Rice, we ordered the dan dan noodle, mapo tofu rice and braised pork belly rice. I love the braised pork belly and mapo tofu with rice. The meat sauce on the tofu has the perfect amount of szechwan spice but not too numbing. Braise Pork Belly meat is tender and juice, I almost wanted extra rice! Jojo's Soda with aiyu jelly! it is very popular! Get the drink with your meal! I met the owner and he's so nice and offered us an excellent service. they offer monthly specials to make sure you don't miss those great deals! Now I have more reasons to come to Haven City! My first time at Haven City Food Hall ... so of course I hd to do a few laps to check out all the different food stalls. Jojo's is a small unassuming stall, and I'm glad I stopped to do a double take here. I ordered a minced pork w/ noodles and it was YUMMY!!! 5/5 stars, very flavorful. The noodles were almost like a garlic noodle, and I ain't mad about that. You might want to order something else if you're on a date tho. ;) Additional pluses ++ -Cashier was friendly and efficient. -Price for the portion was also a good value. The fruity vibes were on point, and the carbonation make it so refreshing and not overly sweet. Their Salt and Pepper Shrimp was seriously next-level. That batter, OMG, it was something else! So light and full of flavor it definitely stands out in Haven City. I also had Braised Porkbelly Noodles. The porkbelly was so succulent and tender, it practically melted in my mouth. I got the braised pork noodles and it was pretty yummy. I think the meat was a little hard to chew sometimes but otherwise the flavors were good and the noodles had a great chewy texture. I also got the aiyu jelly delight which is this citrusy drink with pieces of aiyu jelly. This was soo good, but mostly because it was only $3.50!! The cashier girl was very nice and the food came out in a reasonable time. There was a lot of seating but my group had roughly 50 people and we got food from various places so we found tables outside. read more

My husband and son were thoroughly impressed by the quick service here. They both ordered the beef noodle soup and got 1 order of popcorn chicken. They thought the beef noodle was pretty good but definitely lacking in that beef flavor. The popcorn chicken was also good and well seasoned, it also came in a cute and innovative little cup lol. Overall it would be great if the price was a little better. It is not comparable to a Taiwanese sit down restaurant but almost as expensive so there isn't really a reason to come back here IMO. read more

Was craving some Taiwanese food, and decided to make my way to JoJo's Kitchen located inside the Haven City Market Food Hall. Their menu consists of popular Taiwanese eats, such as Beef Noodle Soup, Dan Dan Noodle and popcorn chicken. They also have rice substitutes for some entrees, so it's nice that they have flexibility. They offer some tea, and traditional soda beverages as well as specialty drinks like the Ayu Jelly Delight or the JoJo soda! The popcorn chicken is always a must try here. It's perfectly shareable, and perfectly breaded. I love dipping it in the sweet and sour sauce for some added flavor. The Beef Noodle Soup comes in a cool container, in which they separate the noodles from the broth. So for those doing take out, your noodles won't be soggy when you get home! The broth is nicely flavored, and you also get a nice portion of meat! I was feeling adventurous so I decided to try the JoJo soda, and it was so yummy! I loved the yogurt flavor, with some bubbly (think of a Yakult soda). Today was the first time I got to try their house milk teas. I first learned about 'Jojo's Kitchen,' was from our Yelp' Badge Day Event/2023. They were very generous offering huge portion of their popcorn chicken. I decided driving back a subsequent visit trying their house milk tea. Boy, was That a super delish drink~it was brewed just right with the right amount of tea flavors and sugar level. Pricing was totally reasonable. They are able to customize ice level.
