I went there for a regular manicure! My first in Palmdale since moving here. What a terrible experience! The nail polish on my thumb began to smudge before I left! I had to completely remove the polish from most of my nails minutes later! The only fingers that had survived the 5 minute trek from there without being ruined were my pinkies. Maybe it had something to do with their nail polish being THINNED OUT!! The nail tech had been pouring thinner into the nail polish bottle, while he was doing my nails, because the polish had obviously run out! I had heard of nail salons diluting their polish, but forgotten about it. They are practicing diluting their polish here people! Then make you feel like you're the one who is not being careful with your hands. The fan had been blowing on my hands for at least 20 minutes. Good polish and top coat should dry faster! Do not go here. The old ladies don't know how to do pedicure at all. They are overpriced and do not listen to what you say and literally ignore you when you are requesting them to stop ! I paid $76 for myself and my daughter but my toes were not painted at all! She only barely cleaned them then when I said stop I'm not paying full price for this! I wanted a pedicure and a fill but after it took two hours for the pedicure, I cancelled the fill. The woman didn't speak English very well so she didn't give me what I asked for and had to start the polish over. When she was finished, $35 later, I ended up with a hole at the top of my toe with polish in it and a French pedicure that looks like I did it myself in the dark. I walked in to have gel manicure. After 2 hours I walked out with a manicure that looked worst than what I had walked in with. Twice I felt pain: once when the electrical polish remover hit my skin and again when she was cutting the corner of my nail. She went too deep. It's 2;30am the following day. I walk up from the throbbing pain in that same finger. This industry needs state regulations licensing of the workers for instance. Btw, when will Yelp allow a no star option. read more

WARNING! I was getting a pedicure and I noticed the lady only cut my nail from the front and not the sides, so I asked her if she could cut the sides. A normal pedicure right? But I guess the lady had a problem with it, her response was; "okay, but if I cut you and you bleed and get an infection it's not my problem" and snatched my foot. I was so shocked at her response. I told her "No, that's not okay at all and I'm not comfortable with you proceeding to do my pedicure after what you just said". So she said "okay leave now!" Honestly, this was the worst gel manicure and pedicure I've ever gotten :( the whole pedicure from the chair to the polish was done in under 25 minutes definitely NOT 30, they didn't have ANY warm water, the next day the gel on my big toe started peeling LITERALLY THE NEXT DAY, plus the old lady who did my nails cured dirt and hair floating around the shop and got annoyed when I asked to to take off the hair, she couldn't do a French tip for the life of her, and didn't correct her mistakes after I pointed them out to her. i called the shop back to complain and the woman who I assume is the manager/owner did try to make it right and asked me to come back so she could check them but of course, she doesn't make appointments and you have to be lucky to catch her. I have been to this place a few times. The first time was great as Michael did my nails he's friendly. The last few times one person will do the powder and another will do the color. I have had acrylic for years and have NEVER had my nails lift after 2 weeks, I've had this problem since I started going here but that isn't the worse part! Over the weekend I went to a different spot in the Valley and I could not believe the disgusting green fungus that was growing on my nail and it was all do to the lifting and obviously water going in. 2 weeks! I got there at around 12:45 on a Thursday and the place was empty, thankfully. So I didn't have to wait at all. I was greeted by J asmine and let me just say that she is the sweetest. I explained to her that I haven't gotten acrylics done in over a year due to the person cutting me very badly and she was completely understandable and she accommodated my fears. Recently moved back to the AV area from Los Angeles and I've been looking for a good nail shop and I am sorry to say this one is not it this was probably the worst pedicure that I've ever had in my entire life the guy who did my pedicure was really nice and friendly and had a great conversation he even gave a great foot massage but the actual pedicure itself from the clipping of my toenails (my toenails are all uneven) and I have white polish around my skin because it wasn't cleaned up nicely and I paid $56 for the worst pedicure ever so I will not be going back here ! Also the fact that I asked for a color change on my nails and they said $45 dollars for a color change to literally do what I already had I just wanted it to be fresh was unacceptable.. I think they're extremely overpriced and the work does not match the price so I will not be returning here so just be aware the pricing is not going to be worth what you get in return read more

Had been here once before, thought it wasn't bad, so came back yesterday. Not happy. I walked in around 1 pm, no customers. Not friendly at all. A gentleman did my nails, didn't speak English but was able to get across, cut my nails, etc. He and another nail tech had a long conversation in another language with each other, while he was working on my manicure, she was standing next to him conversing, for a very long time. I thought that was rude. They had very few light gel colors to choose from (which is what I choose to wear in the spring/summer). As far as my pedicure goes, again, nothing to write home about. Just two light colors to choose from. I hadn't asked about the cost of the pedi. The same young lady who had been standing next to us during the mani gave me a pedi. In the middle of the pedi the young lady told me you want callus removed, $10 more. I said okay. No biggie, she got a piece of saran wrap, put some cream on it, wrapped it around my feet and removed the callus'. Scraped of the callus, not very gently. No leg massage. Wiped off my legs, feet wiped down, polished and done. My recommendation, don't bother going here, they sure didn't bother with their work. read more

She didnt ask me what package I wanted for my pedi gave me the basic I told her I want gel she never gave me the colors to look at so when It was time to paint my toes she rudely asked what color and I just said white because I never saw the colors. Van is the only person I will let touch my eyebrows! My last eyebrow lady kept messing them up after I would grow them back out and tell her what to do. I finally stumbled upon Van's little shop and am so glad I did! She's so nice, listens to you, and does an amazing job. My last eyebrow lady didn't care when I told her I'm allergic to tea tree oil so I left. Once I told Van, she made sure not to use it on me!
