I am truly disappointed with whatever this place is trying to be. The only two booths they have were dirty and when I asked about getting them cleaned a guy came out and looked at us like we had five heads. He went in the back and came out after the counter girl left her post to clean our table. Big question...How does a fried chicken place not have chicken breasts in a bucket of chicken? I attempted to order a two piece meal with a breast and had to order a chicken sandwich instead if I wanted a breast. What's the logic in that?? The side of mashed potatoes with lumpy gross gravy was cool and tasted just like cafeteria mashed potatoes. The metallic taste was awful. The chicken has no flavor but the bun was tasty. The mayo was overflowing and was tasteless too. Pepsi was the highlight of this place. My friend's meal came out half way though my meal and why it took so long we had no idea. His meal was served to him on a filthy red tray. His fries had no taste and both of us could barely stomach our food. We grabbed a female manager and showed her the dirty red tray and she looked at us like we were idiots. Slowest restaurant ever. Fast food or not both occasions we waited over 50 min for our food. Busy or just slightly busy. I'm sure the restaurant was even over capacity with all the customers waiting inside for the food. All seats taken and just as many people standing around. Not sure what operations are happening or if the right people are staffed but this food is not worth that kind of wait. I'd rather go to Popeyes or KFC tbh...even got a Costco chicken for 4.99 be fed already. read more

Not sure I understand what the hype is about. I ordered 2 pieces of chicken, a side, and the mango-peach pie. The chicken tasted like it was cooking in old or burnt oil. The pie was super forgettable and made McDonald's apple pie seem superior. On top of that, I waited 31 minutes for below mediocre food. Being that they just opened, I'll assume they have many kinks to work out. Allowing people to order 3 buckets of chicken for 2 people is sort of insane. I get that it is probably for a family, but that will cause a huge logjam. Maybe have like an estimate wait clock so that people can decide for themselves? I dunno, I'd wait or just skip it. I was thrilled to try a Jollibee near me! It was the worst experience I've ever had. The service was very slow. To order food it took around 15 minutes. To actually receive the food it took 30 minutes. AND THERE WAS NO ONE THERE. 25 minutes into waiting they tell me that they don't have the chicken sandwich I wanted. A restaurant that is known for their chicken doesn't have CHICKEN? I was furious! The only substitutes that they had were the sandwich, but with a burger patty instead. If I knew that 25 minutes prior I wouldn't have even ordered. I went with the pineapple burger and it was cold. Nothing about my experience at Jollibee was excellent. If I could give 0 stars I would. Like listen, I get it, it's fast food ... but I saw a ton of good reviews of this place on social media so I wanted to try. The chicken was wet and slimy and gross, the regular flavor was far too bland and then the spicy was way too spicy. Sooo it's worth trying out, but don't expect it to be 10/10. Ignore service reviews because A: It's a fast food restaurant and the employees are probably making $12 an hour... B: Its not indicative of the food quality. The chicken was okay, it did have flavor! Lol the thighs needed the gravy though. All was crispy including the Peach pie which was good, but not good enough to go back. I like that I've tried it out! The key is to order from them when they are not busy, sounds like from other reviews employees get stressed and disorganized which is a MANAGEMENT problem. Why do people even get excited to go here??? 2 stars for the crispy(albeit flavorless chicken) and the well seasoned gravy. Mashed potato snob me hates the mashed potatoes which taste like they came out of a box. Then let's talk about the staff who are incredibly rude(take up the very little seats in the dining section during a rush just talking) and the fact that they didn't have any tenders or pies and were even rude in telling you that. It's like a cross between Popeyes and raising canes but it was not really all that special. Plus the seating arrangement was not really thought out well. Chipotle had a much nicer ambiance when it was here along with the seating. So I guess it is a better place to take out. People do have fond memories of this chain especially my Filipino friends. Good gosh, I don't know what to say. After my previous review, I thought I'd give this spot another chance. Came in the line wasn't that bad and the lady working the register was efficient. Waited only about less than 10 minutes and I received my order. I ordered for the 10 piece bucket with peach mango pies. I think I was still surprised at how fast they got my order together and drove the 30 mins drive back home. Well, when I thought all was fine I opened my order when I got home only to find 8 pieces in the bucket instead of the 10 pieces I paid for. There was no way I was going to drive back there so I tried calling the number provided in the receipt only to keep getting the ringtone and the end message that they are busy and there's no way I could leave a message. I tried calling at least 5 times and finally gave up. What a letdown. I was so happy when they put up a jollibee near my home. But it is the most disapointing jollibee of all. 4/26. @ 5 pm. First I ordered some chicken, burger and peach mango poes. My order came and no burger. When approached she just said "you didnt order a burger" so I had to order and wait again.. I let it slide. Burger came I left. About 30 minutes later from home,I bit into the peach mango pie then realize it was ube. All 4 of them ube! I could not let that slide anymore. I had to drive all the way back there and this time she cant even deny it anymore coz its in the receipt unbelievable! So you would have to nake 2 trips to this place just 2 get the orders right! And there wasnt even a single customer besides me, so their busy and yet they cant get the orders right? The worse part is she just grab the ube pies and replace it with the peach mango pie without saying a word, just looking at me like I was annoying her! Not one apology! I told her that the ube one a I bit into I threw away and yet she only replaced me with 3! What about the one you got wrong? You wont even replace that??! It looks like this place needs a more mature workers instead of a bunch of kids playing around and teasing each other or appoint a better manager to control those kids. 1st time ever trying this place here in Bloomingdale, IL. I'll start off saying this place has no idea what time management is. I dinned in and waited a good 15+mins to get my meal while others around me were getting inpatien also. Once I got my meal my fries were cold so I had them make them again, another 15mins had to wait.. for FRIES!. I also noticed they messed up on To-Go orders. The flow at the newly opened Jollibee restaurant in Bloomingdale is very impressive! It took about 20 minutes for us to receive the food we ordered inside for carry out. Considering the line was out the door this was acceptable to us. The staff was very pleasant and patient with customers as we filled in. The food met our expectations and well worth the wait! Skip this place! Not worth it. The hype is not worth the wait and the poor organization of how the food is bagged and sorted. This place is a HOT MESS. You know it's a bad sign when several people complain that they have been waiting over an hour for pies but yet the previous order who didn't even wait as long just walked out with half a dozen. Not sure how they prioritize orders but never good when you take your food home and half the order is cold. It's also a sanitary issue when the cashier also decides to handle the food or utensils.
