I don't usually go to jolly bee because I had a terrible time my FIRST time BUT wanted to give them another chance. I came in and everything was normal, I ordered and waited for my food to be ready. But as I was waiting for my food THAT I PAID, I saw the worker drop my fries and ring me up to receive it. I politely asked them to give me new fries because ain't no way I'm eating off the floor tf he then gave me a stink eye and went to change them. The manager then came yelling at both the worker AND ME as to why the buzzer was still going off I told him what happened and he snatched the receipt off my hand and yelled "IS THIS YOUR ORDER ITLL TAKE 5 MORE MINUTES GO SIT BACK DOWN" so I went to sit back down. Great service and the best fast food fried chicken - not greasy and just the right amount of crust I ordered 2 buckets online the night prior and specified pickup time. When I arrived 30 minutes late, I was happy to see that my order wasn't sitting on the stand getting cold. I showed my receipt to the manager and he immediately took care of my order. I didn't have a problem for the most part getting my Jollibee fix here in the remodeled Carson store. The line was to the door on the inside but moving along even with one cashier. I ordered a 6-piece bucket, spaghetti, mashed potato, peach mango pie, chicken sandwich. The wait time wasn't too long either, normal fast food time. I have always been a fan of Jollibee and love the food. I am so glad this location is 4 minutes from my house. I went today for lunch and they were super busy. They had to make extra chicken tenders and asked me if I could wait 15 minutes. Of course, I said no problem. When I finally got my food, they gave me a peach mango pie and a couple extra tenders. They acknowledged that I had to wait and went the extra mile for great customer service. I always have hot and fresh food from Jollibee. Many youtubers who mukbang eat Jollibee (among all the other fast food places) which is why after not eating fast food since I was a child, I circled back to trying a few spots. The Youtube influence is strong! Let's get to the deets! Fried Chicken: just by looking at it, I had an immediate hunch that this would taste like Roy Rogers chicken. Now, most of you in California have no idea what Roy Rogers is, but it WAS a fast food place that had both fried chicken and burgers. Oh, the memories. They went from having many locations and faded to just being at rest areas along the turnpike until they completely disappeared. :( Anyway, the fried chicken is Roy Rogers chicken resurrected. The skin is thicker than other fried chicken and more hearty. It comes with a side of gravy, which is just plain fun but unnecessary because the chicken is super salty. So while I enjoy the thicker skin (only for variety and to depart from the other fried chicken skins), the saltiness slows me down from wanting to eat more. If they decrease the sodium by 70%, I would be all over it. Mashed Potatoes & Corn: fairly standard Spaghetti: So as most people know, Filipino spaghetti is on the sweeter side. The sauce tasted exactly like the sauce from the Chef Boyardee!!! Palabok Fiesta: Rice vermicelli noodles with some brown sauce with pork on top. The taste of the sauce is hard to detect but it literally just tastes like a basic gravy that is not too salty! Hurrah! Finally, something that isn't overly salted here. Pineapple Juice: sweet as can be but surprisingly gets less sweet tasting after you eat all the salty foods. I enjoyed it though. Next time, I will probably dilute it with some water. I have been here to the Carson Jollibee a few times and every time, it's not good. Today was the icing on the cake and I will never, ever go back there AGAIN! These folks need to get a clue on what "customer service" is all about! When I placed my order today, I wanted the 3-piece chicken and 2 sides. I ask for the corn. The cashier said the corn is gone now. I ask him why and he said "I don't know"! I told him that was one of the best sides and what could I do to maybe get it returned to the menu for us to order. He replied "I don't know"! I ask him what options were available for sides and he said rice Adobe, French fries and mash potatoes, all really starchy items. So I changed my order to one side and ask for mashed potatoes and gravy. I then ask the cashier for my three pieces of chicken to be 2 thighs and one wing. He said okay and went and told someone else they was filling the orders. As I waited for my number to be called for my order maybe 8-10 away from the counter, another worker told me "don't stand there, wait for your order over by the window", which made absolutely no sense. When my number was called, I got my food and ask the employees behind the counter why we could NOT eat in the Jollibee dining room when the governor has allowed 50% inside dining room capacity eating with social distancing? He said because the Jollibee corporate office has not advised them that they can. Well, why not? What is the corporate office's issue? Why is Jollibee not allowing people to eat in their dining room when ALL the other fast food locations in town ARE? So, then, I walked outside to eat my meal on the cement wall and to my surprise, I had two chicken legs and a thigh in my box when it was supposed to be two thighs and one wing. Once again, another messed-up order!!! I went back in and a female employee ask me what the issue was? I told her I had ordered two thighs and 1 wing and that's not what I got. She said you're not allowed to order 3 wings...all wings. What the hell??? Who said anything about all wings? I repeated myself AGAIN that I had ordered 2 thighs and 1 wing and that's not what I received and I wanted a refund and I will never eat here again! Once I got my money back, I left. The food here isn't too bad for the most part. The flavor of their chicken is better than fair, although I wish they served other pieces outside of just dark meat legs and thighs. The texture of their chicken is inconsistent. Sometimes it's flavorful and juicy, and other times it's quite rubbery. I come here occasionally, but this time was my worst experience. I decided to order a family meal with a bucket of chicken and I was told it would take 90 minutes! Who the heck waits an hour and a half for fried chicken?!?! For fast food, this is really good as coined the Filipino Macdonald. For a quick bite with a twist, why not. There are lots of variety if choices on the menu. My go to will always be the the bucket of chicken joy that is really tasty, spaghetti for the kids (this is the Filipino version that is sweeter. Can't compare thus to regular spaghetti). My personal favorite is the palabok (fiesta noodle). Mixed it together with lemon juice, the taste of noodle, meat, shrimp, and egg all swirl together to a homemade taste of an exotic place far away. So while it's fast food, it's actually high end fast food restaurant and staff actually all come out to sing you happy birthday per you request. read more

I had an issue with a delivery order I placed on July 2nd. My order was taking longer than I expected and it wasn't being picked up by a delivery driver, when I called the store and spoke with a gentleman he said I would have to come to pick it up myself which was super inconvenient on my end. Then the next week I called the store again and it's so hard calling them because no one answers right away and by me calling so many times I was told by the manager JUN with whom I spoke to last Friday of July 7th he told me that my order was refunded to me and it'll take 2 business days after waiting 2 business days I called again and a lady on the phone said it'll take 5 business day. It's already been a week since I haven't received my refund, I've never had this problem before but the amount of inconvenience I had to go through is unprofessional on the staffs end. This review is solely on service and up keep. I don't eat at this Jollibee very often and I've only been here about 5 times since it has opened. The service is horrible! Every single visit resulted in the same service. The workers, honestly, look like chickens with their heads cut off, running around, not having a system as to who does what! There are 4 cash registers (I believe) and 3 out of those 4 would have a worker standing behind and yet, I am the one that still has to ask if I can order at that register! It seems like their system of operating is not very well managed! There are always a good amount of workers present and yet there is a line of people that have already gotten their food but would like extra napkins, or a lid for their cup, etc. Workers seems very frazzled, each and every time I go there, regardless if it's busy or not! Lids, straws, salt and pepper, etc has also been poorly kept with. They don't keep up with the restock of these items that customers need all the time, thus results the customer having to wait for a worker to give it to them. Very annoying! read more

Here are the reasons why you should never come to this location: 1) We ordered 6 spaghetti with chicken joy meals and we requested for all orders to come with a chicken thigh. The cashier said "sorry ma'am, we can only give you three thighs at the most." The rest will have to be legs." I asked why and she said because they have to proportion the pieces. I said we'll split the order then. After we paid, we ordered the other half and the cashier said "I'm really sorry ma'am, we really can't give you any more thighs." Ok, so we ended up getting the others with legs. Now, I could understand if I was ordering a two piece combo and they could only give me one thigh, but each order comes with one piece of the customer's choice! One of the server even said "it wouldn't be fair to the other customers if we get all thighs." Well, how about if the 6 people in my party ordered separately, wouldn't you have given all of us thighs anyway? So, stupid! 2) We ordered two chicken joy with rice and they only took one order down, so I had to order another one and my little cousin had to wait for his food. 3) They wouldn't accept bills over $20, which is understandable, but if our bill came out to nearly $50.00 why wouldn't they just make an exception and accept the $50.00 bill. 4) The trashcan was so full that we couldn't even throw away our trash. 5) The restroom was dirty without paper towels. 6) The staff are uptight and badly need customer service training. I would never come to this location ever again. This place is a good example of why Filipino restaurants are not mainstream compared to other Asian restaurants. Service was fine, food takes a bit since the chicken is made to order. Prices are great, portions small, but filling since the food is heavy and greasy. Came here to pick up some lunch got the yum burger w/ cheese and the Spam Big Bite both were good and satisfying for lunch. The only thing i dont like is the parking here because it's shared with the supermarket and bakery so you got either wait or keep driving around in circles especially at peak times of the day. If you ever go to the Philippines, Jollibee is basically like our McDonalds. There is one on every corner, in every mall, everywhere you go! It's totally random - fried chicken, rice, spaghetti, breakfast meats (tocino, longuenisa, spam), fries. If you get the breakfast the eggs are yucky. Someone told me that the spaghetti is made from ketchup but I didn't try that. My son was totally into the rice and fried chicken. This location is nice, right next to Seafood City and the bakery next door has excellent pan-de-sal. read more

The manager and employees are absurdly incompetent and it's just not worth dealing with these people for very subpar food. It took me 15 min of ringing for them to answer - once I arrived to the location, they were limiting to 7 people inside due to the COVID pandemic. Very understandable but the worker guarding the door was only letting 4 people (2 groups of 2 waiting for their food) so that NO ONE was allowed to go in and at least order and maybe wait outside. In my situation, I wasn't even allowed to check in and pay for my phone order and ended up waiting 30 min to get into the store. What's the point of calling in ahead of time? - My food was warm-ish/turning cold by the time I picked it up bc it had been so long since I called in.... EVEN THOUGH I WAS ALREADY THERE OUTSIDE THE STORE - the manager came out multiple times to see a long line of frustrated people and didn't do/say shit. I'm half Filipina so I eat here a lot with my boyfriend we've been going here since and I like it here a lot. I like the service the food especially the spaghetti. I love the halo halo I love the Ube pro cooler I just wish they never took off the egg-rolls because I would always get them back then. I love their chicken with their gravy sauce. Very Filipino like. All the workers are Filipino. Pretty awesome I only see that few times even in Chinese or Vietnamese or Cambodian restaurants.
