We ordered on the mobile app and their service did not disappoint! The food was made quickly and in-time as it said on the app. All you had to do was go to the side counter and pick up your order. It was truly grab and go, and no wait even though it was peak lunch hour. The quality of Jollibee, even on the island, was TOP TIER! The chicken was crispy and SO JUICY and fresh! The spaghetti was the same classic as it is in the Mainland USA. The restaurant was super new-looking, and clean. They had someone cleaning up tables constantly. The restrooms were also pretty clean! There is booth seating in the back and bar-style seating in the front. I would definitely come back if I had to grab a quick bite before I hop onto a flight out of OGG. I have always had a great experience with Jollibee Kahului in every way. The food has always been good, with the chicken and especially the chicken sandwiches being exceptional. I've been traveling a lot to help with family, and being that I have had great service and help from the crew at Hawaiian Airlines, I chose to take Jollibee sandwiches for those at the airport and the flight crew as a small "thank you" for their help. It's become a little bit of a routine, that the Jollibee crew has come to know me over time as the "big order" of around 3 dozen sandwiches every time I stop by. They have never missed or made an order wrong, and every single person who has received a sandwich has always enjoyed it, and for many of them, it was the first time they ate a Jollibee deluxe chicken sandwich. I have no doubt most will be back for more if there's a Jollibee in reasonable range of where they are. The location has the typical noise level of any fast food location. There is a good amount of seating for parties up to about 10 people, with tables and chairs inside and outside of the restaurant. The restrooms are clean and well kept - always a good sign for any fast food location. I'd like to thank the entire crew for being so accommodating to me every single visit, but especially to thank the RGM - Cherry Leano, the RM - Lanz Valdez, Supervisors - Izy C., Aiza A., Leslee P., and Jesther T. for always doing all they can to make my orders in a very reasonable time, and for always keeping up with anything I need. I was having some Filipino crispy chicken cravings and I knew Jollibee would satisfy. I was a little hesitant since sometimes their chicken can have a 15-20 minute wait time but I was surprised to get my order in less than 5 minutes! I was greeted with a "Jollyafternoon" and always appreciated how in the Philippines Jollibee, all the staff is always trained to be so welcoming and nice! I got my 2 piece Chicken combo with Side of White Rice, Biscuit (ask for butter!) and Pineapple Quencher. This was my second time going to this place and I truly enjoyed it! The first time I went, I went in Florida and this one was in Hawaii and it did not miss at all. I wasn't up to try it all so I can only attest that the chicken is hot, crispy, and probably the juiciest chicken I've ever had from fast food. Of course I've had Jollibee in other cities, but it's unfortunately not in Atlanta, so I wasn't mad about it eating at a chain for our last meal in Maui before traveling to Oahu. Ignore the chickens pecking around under the table - although it's a little disturbing to be eating fried chicken in front of them. We had 5 people in our group so of course we were going to be ordering a bucket of chicken. We ordered the 6 piece chickenjoy bucket with jolly spaghetti family pack & 3 peach mango pies - which was selfishly everything I wanted to order anyway. Fried chicken was solid, as always, I didn't even need the gravy, although it comes in handy with the white meat. Never a bad experience here. The staff are so nice and helpful. Usually in fast food you'd get sloppy attitudes but that's not what it's like here. Took me 20+ minutes to order and get my food. Chicken and fries were good. Ube pie was okay but bland. Pineapple juice was tasty. I saw an employee drop a piece of chicken and push it to the side of the counter. A few seconds later another employee picked up the chicken and put it in another customers order. First time using the Jollibee app & I'm disappointed. I ordered a six piece bucket, a cheese yum burger & a spicy chicken sandwich combo meal. They forgot to give me my fries with my combo & I had to remind them to give me my soft drink. The food is delicious. The service is not up to par. First time at Jollibee! Ordered the Bucket Treat C which came with 10 pieces - 5 legs, 5 thighs, and 3 sides. The chicken was very juicy, tender, and skin was so crispy. The 3 sides ordered were adobo rice, mashed potatoes, and fries. Loved how flavorful the rice was and the fries were hot and crispy. The mashed potatoes were typical for a fried chicken spot, but still very good and I liked the gravy. Everything was hot and freshly prepared and the food came very quick after ordering. The restaurant was quite clean and service was quick. I also tried the peach mango pie which was a nice after dinner treat. It was crisp and sweet with fresh fruit. Just arrived and got the old beater running, so we drove into town for supplies. Our last stop was Jollibee, for a couple of Classic Chickenwiches. Hadn't tried one here, but wanted to see how it compares to one I bought recently in Texas. Long story short, I'll stick with the sammich that's made in Texas. The brioche bun was somewhat mangled, but that didn't bother me. The chicken breast had good flavor from the crispy breading, but the meat was dry. That was disappointing. They did a better job of cooking in Texas. I don't know if I hit the jackpot, or maybe it wasn't my wife's lucky day. The piece of chicken in my sammich was a LOT bigger than hers. Shouldn't they be consistent? The thing that matched perfectly with the Chickenwiches we had in Texas was the skimpy amount of umami mayo that was provided. There was just a little dab in the center of the chicken. Not enough to add any flavor. Thank goodness we were taking them home so we could add another condiment. The other big difference is the price. My last sammich cost $3.99 but this one rang up $5.49 and that's a big difference. I know that things cost more on Maui, but an extra $1.50 is a 37% jump. read more

When we got to Jollibee's during da prime time lunch hours, there were no lines outside snaking around da building (yeah, that's good sign), and upon entering the establishment.............small kine line, but manageable with a short wait to place our food order. Upon looking over da wall menu, I ended up getting a (2) piece chicken joy box with mash potatoes, & buttered corn, and my friend got da same but a (3) piece selection. What can I say about the grub? I will never turn down my beloved frrrrrrried chicken, and Maui's Jollibee did not disappoint.............the only down side about this location in Kahului Maui was that they didn't offer a "Spicy" version of this frrrrrrried chicken like how I can get it on Oahu. I returned about a month after their opening to try new items and things have finally calmed down. And, prices have already gone up 50-cents! What the... FOOD: Yumburger - $5.99 (combo + cheese) For reference, it's about the size of a McD's cheeseburger. The patty was soft and seasoned well with a strong oniony flavor but borderline salty. The burger's sauce spread tasted and looked like thousand island dressing-based which gave it some sweet notes. I opted for fries as my side as they go together like yin and yang! Unfortunately everything was cold. Not even the cheese was fully melted. I was eating at home but didn't feel like zapping the burger and toasting the fries as I was hangry! Burger Steak - $8.79 (combo) Two of the same tender, oniony-flavored patties from the burger were lathered in a thin and creamy mushroom gravy (not the same gravy that comes with the Chickenjoy for dipping). For my side I got mashed potatoes with gravy. Hawaii hamburger steak fans will be just okay with this version as the small frozen patties can't compare to the larger, fresh variety. The mashed potatoes were good but mainstream like all other fast food joints. SERVICE: I arrived around 8pm on a weeknight to an outside line of just five people ahead of me. I was given a menu and placed my order with the same person about a minute later. Got inside within five minutes, paid, and left with food in hand about ten minutes later. Ok I've been twice and it's been great both times. That crispy chicken really is juicy and hot and oh so yummy! Things I like: Prompt service; buzzer to tell you when your order is ready; they won't take tips; minimal plastic packaging; the great food or course! Maui finally has it's first Jollibee's and we are all going mad especially us Filipinos! lol! After getting a sneak peek on the day of their grand opening, I could not wait to go back and I've eaten at Jollibee's before but still! haha LOCATION: Located in the old Bank of Hawaii building across from Jamba juice and Starbucks in Maui Marketplace. You can't miss it or have a hard time finding it because it has been very busy since it opened this past Friday. ATMOSPHERE: The dining room is not very big but it is very clean with cute booths and various seating options. They also have outdoor seating which is awesome. SERVICE: Service was fantastic. Everything is well marked. When you arrive, there are gates with a sign that says "enter here," then a friendly employee asks "have you been here before?" If you haven't, they give you a brief overview of Jollibees. If you have, they say "great!" and they hand you a number and a menu and direct you to enter the line to wait. While you wait, a couple of employees take your order beforehand. I love their system especially since they are still brand new here on Maui. After driving by yesterday after work and seeing the line super long like it has been, I decided to take an early lunch today and chance 'um lol. I got there shortly after 10:00 am and the wait was not very long at all YAY! Thank you Jesus & praise the Lord lol. I waited about 10-15 minutes and then I got the go ahead to enter. Yay again! Their chicken truly brings you joy hence the name :) My boss who has never tried their chicken until today said she loves it more than KFC's chicken. That statement did not surprise me. Their chicken has a different flavor and is perfectly seasoned. The skin is so crispy and the meat is so moist. You must try their chicken if you come to Jollibee's. It is my favorite. Their jolly spaghetti is delicious. I'm a bad part Filipino who doesn't care for sweet spaghetti lol but Jollibee's isn't as sweet as I've had before at family/friend's parties and at Jollibee's on Oahu. Maui's Jolly spaghetti does not taste super sweet. It is just right. So 'ono. Try it. The sides that I ordered included mashed potatoes and adobo rice. Both were delicious. Both were perfectly seasoned and still hot when I brought them back to the office. Yum! Their pineapple quencher is very refreshing and delicious as well. I highly recommend trying it. My only NEGATIVE for today's experience was that THEY DID NOT HAVE PEACH MANGO PIE. I almost cried haha. My coworkers were so sad when they heard the horrible news. Their peach mango pie is so crispy, flaky and sweet and is packaged like McDonald's pies that I love to indulge in on occasion. They apologized for not having it this morning and said they would have it in the afternoon. Almost a month after their grand opening this new restaurant is still packing them in. Consequently, the drive thru is still used for overflow waiting during busy hours. There is ample parking because Maui Marketplace has yet to find a replacement tenant for Lowe's. Chickenjoy and the spicy chicken sandwich are my favorites. My wife and daughter really like the spaghetti and palabok. Unfortunately, they don't have the full menu as some other locations, which serve halo halo and other items. However, I think the chickenjoy is the best fried chicken I've tasted. The gravy dipping sauce makes it tasty, but I prefer the chicken by itself. read more
