    Plentiful and Tasty!
    Rich H.

Located near the airport and next to Costco. Last month my wife and I (along with another couple) just arrived into Maui airport. The car rental company receptionist recommended this area of food trucks to check out since it was close by. It was about a 15 minute drive to the food trucks. Our friends said they've tried Ono Tacos before in Lahaina. They said that the tacos they had were good! I was in the mood for tacos so I ordered one Al Pastor "Pork" taco and the Shredded Beef Birria tacos. They were both very tasty and I would say "on par" with tacos I've had on the mainland! I would go back again the next time I'm in Maui.

The food was excellent. We ordered the Steak Asada burritos. The horchata drink was delicious.

NOTE: This is a food truck Stopped by on our way to try Guri Guri in the same parking lot. The nice gentleman who helped us was friendly and explained everything well to help us decide. The Asada burrito was delicious and well worth the price! Others opted for tacos: the Biria and fish, which were equally delicious. We were happy and thankful they also had a cute area to eat and relax for a bit.

So yummy! Definitely stop here...with CASH in hand. We flew in, stopped at the nearby local Whole Foods for groc. and stopped here for a bite after. We are so glad we did. The Ono fish tacos were highly recommended and the steak looked simple, but it was quite flavorful. Great hospitality. Salsa and topping bar with great flavors and variety. Cash only! The chickens roaming around were fun. They're there everyday till 9pm! Enjoy!

Not sure if we went on an off night or what. I wanted to try this lunch truck for a while but never got a chance to. Burrito was good. Packed with steak, rice, lettuce, cheese. The carne asada tacos plate was a little disappointing. There was a lot of meat for sure, but nothing but meat. It was a little weird. Thought there would be something on it for more flavor. My mom got on shrimp taco and she enjoyed that. Service was ok, just took our order and that's all. Not sure if I'd go back, but glad we tried it finally.

Great Tacos. Both regular asada with avocado sauce and pickled onions and cheese steak tacos were awesome. Lots of outdoor seating was perfect for our large family of 15. Note to those with young kids, no high chairs around the lot!

This was truly amazing!!!! Food was 6/5. We got the taco salad with steak- it was so fully packed, nicely dressed with tomatoes/dressing/ETC. The steak was soft/moist, flavorful. The overall amount could be shared with someone, making it well worth it. The location is near Mariott by the airport with a bunch of food trucks. They do have a general seating area with plenty seating, I would 1000% come back to this spot.

Wow authentic delicious Mexican street tacos in Maui right by the airport, I was not expecting that and it hit the spot. Perfect marinated meats, perfect birria, perfect salsas. We paid 5.50 a taco and I wasn't mad about it because it was so worth it. Service was fast and easy and we sat at the tables in the shadow and enjoyed the relaxed island vibe

They're an awesome late night place to visit when craving tacos! They're located near Maui Mall now and I enjoyed a mixed variety of tacos alongside a friend, would visit again for sure - Miguel Morales Photography

Service was quick and the food was tasty. Being from Arizona we are very familiar with carne asada burritos. The size was great and ingredients seemed very fresh. The asada was a bit lacking in flavor (that expected charred, smokiness) however, the sauces made up for it. The guac sauce was really good, hot is for sure hot, the medium has a good balance of heat and a nice green chili and lime flavor and the mild was fresh and delicious. Convenient location with lots of tables (some shaded and some not)

We ordered the shrimp taco salad, cheese taco with shrimp and and a shrimp torta. We're pescatarians and didn't realize the torta came with ham so we had to remove it, otherwise everything else was perfect. The salad came with a ton of flavorful shrimp, the shrimp taco was fried to perfection and the salsas on the side were either spicy or tangy, just the way I like it. Glad we stopped here on our way back from the road to hana.

This spot is a food truck with delicious food. They had a small sign saying they had a special for birria tacos. The tacos were so crispy and the meat was so tender and well seasoned. This is a must order if they have it available!

Saw this food truck (not in lahaina) but right next to costco / airport area and opened yelp to quickly decide what to order. thanks to other yelpers, i knew already that it didnt accept credit cards and yes i d like to add here that they accept cash "and venmo :) now" Its a self service food truck. U walk up, see the menu, decide and order. Come back in 10 mins to pick it up. They offer three salsa kinds (mild, regular, hot) all taste good. In $15, we tried the shrimp burrito and i swapped cheese for jalapeno. Loved it!! They have picnic benches style open seating between 3-4 other food trucks so we just ordered different things from different vendors and enjoyed it all! #supportlocal

I was immediately intrigued by the calamansi pork -- an item I had never seen it on a menu before. One bite and I was hooked. The pork was tender and flavorful, and the bright, citrusy calamansi added a unique tang that made the dish completely unforgettable. It was so good that I'm still thinking about it after coming home. We also tried the pancit noodles, pork sisig, and mochiko chicken, and every dish was excellent. The pancit was packed with flavor, the sisig was gelatinous (fir those who are into it), and the mochiko chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and impossible to stop eating. For my first visit to Maui and my first time trying Da Soriano Grindz, this food truck set the bar incredibly high. If you're visiting Maui and want amazing Filipino food that's a little different from what you'll find elsewhere, don't skip this spot. The calamansi pork alone is worth the trip.

Peeked their Instagram and saw a corned beef and egg grilled cheese sandwich. Say what? Less than 5 minutes later I was texting my order in. Unfortunately, no one actually ever answered my text (please don't tell people to text if you don't reply). Being impatient, I said screw it and just drove myself there to check. They are located in Kahului Industrial in the Ferguson's parking lot, across the way from Lee Bear's. It's a really, really random spot and parking could be a challenge if it gets busy. If it's slow, you could park right in front of the trailer. The family that runs this food trailer is born and raised in Guam and their menu features Chamorro cuisine like arrozcaldo, corn soup, etc. It didn't seem like it to me at first because everything was so so familiar to me, but my friend who was raised in Guam reminded me of how it's heavily Filipino influenced and mentioned that the grilled cheese sandwich was her childhood growing-up. No wonder (I'm Filipino)... Anywho, got my corned beef and egg grilled cheese sandwich! The corned beef isn't like your St. Patty's day corned beef, but more like the Palm brand canned corned beef. The bread was also slightly sweet and was the perfect vessel for all this deliciousness. The sandwich was so tasty and had the perfect amount of meat and cheese. Definitely a great way to start my morning and can't wait to have it again. My friend also recommended trying their corn soup & their red rice whenever it's available. Will definitely try those in the future too.

We have tried quite a few of the trucks and there were long lines and I was hungry so we drifted over to Kaipo's as they didn't have much of a line. Staff were ready for a laugh with us and we ordered the Shrimp Dynamite and the Rib Eye. They were quick to cook em up, just long enough for us to buy some pineapple lemonade from the stand next door (Wailemi). The food was MOUTH WATERINGLY GOOD. I cannot understand how they didn't have a long line!! People are missing out here! My Shrimp Dynamite was served in a small container, full of melty mushroomy goodness, with crunchy courgette, shrimp cooked to perfection and a creamy sauce on top. It wasn't as hot as I like, but I only deem something spicy when I can't feel the front of my face and steam is coming out of my ears so perhaps it is spicy enough for the general public. Nevertheless it was DROOLWORTHY, so good I had to share a single piece of courgette with my husband, but that was all he was getting! No more, Nada, nope. All mine! Hubbs didn't take long to demolish his with gusto, and he was 110% satisfied with dinner. Meat was cooked just right. We liked the scoop of macaroni salad, and the green salad with mustard dressing and scoop of rice that came with each dish. All were delicious and complimentary to each other. Very filling, very satisfying and totally DEEEELICIOUS. If you visit this roach coach park you have to try Kaipo's. It is one of the best there and you don't have to wait!
