3.5 stars! Happy this Thai food truck offered a 100% vegan menu so I quickly orders some veggie spring rolls and pad Thai with tofu. The kiosk is credit or debit card only and be prepared to do a lot of typing. Order took around 15 minutes on a Monday night, and loved that it was piping hot. The tofu squares were slightly charred and the noodles slurpy delicious. Not a whole lot of vegetables, mostly cabbage and bean sprouts with a few carrot slices. Sauce was slightly too sweet for me, but I still inhaled my overflowing plate. The spring rolls were substantive, four nestled in the container with a sweet chili sauce. Golden crisp and filled with a similar vegetable mix as the pad Thai. About $31 for the order including tip that was somehow added on before I noticed. read more

They have a kiosk outside the truck where you can place your order. I got the fish tacos, which came with three Mahi Mahi tacos topped with pineapple slaw. We love to visit Aloha Thai Fusion whenever we're in the area. They used to have a restaurant and few years back and am glad they still have their foodtruck. They have a kiosk you can order from. There are chairs and tables in front so you can wait for your order. I enjoy the cashew Chicken and egg rolls every time. The portion size for the cashew Chicken has decreased while the price has increased. Same for the egg rolls. rolls. This was literally our first stop after touchdown and glad it was. My sister thought the pad thai was better than back home; we agreed to disagree. It was good but not as great as the fish sliders. Fresh fish with the lime crema sauce. And the mango lilikoi buns - those alone were enough to rave about; wish I could buy a pack of those to bring home. The service was quick and friendly. There's a parking lot nearby and it's part of a food truck park located close to Costco making this the perfect place to stop after picking up groceries for your vacation. This was a really good papya salad. I can usually handle the "hot" spice level, but this time around.....damn! I was at home, sweating from every pore on my face (my glasses fogged up lol). But I still enjoyed every bite. The sauce was different from other Thai restaurants. If I could put a name to the flavor, I'd say it was more fish saucy (but in an umami kinda way). The papaya and carrots were nice and crunchy. Not sure why there were big chunks of cabbage in there, but i just ended up replacing them w/ some Romaine when I got home. Out of all the foods we tried around Maui this was my favorite. Its a food truck located in a hotel lot near the airport. Theres a bunch of other food trucks so you can't miss it! I walked around the lot for a good 5 minutes or so trying to decide what to pick. Thai food IMO can never be a bad choice. The food took a while to be prepared and my tummy was def grumbling. But it was well worth the wait. After having a bit of a mishap at the market earlier, this is exactly what I needed. Turned my night around and got me back in my happy dancy mood. Calamari and fried rice seemed pretty safe to try from a new business I've never been to right? Totally! The calamari were thick sticks compared to the other way I normally have them prepared. Very flavorful and the sauce was quite unique as well. The fried rice was uber flavorful! I don't think I've had fried rice that good, ever. Now all other fried rice will just be a disappointment *tear*. Highly recommended! Check them out and you won't be disappointed. Lots of other trucks to visit as well. Can't go wrong. read more

This food truck is parked outside of our resort right now and if you check my reviews, you know I love pad Thai! The pad Thai is a large portion, very hefty, and 6+ shrimps. It was very saucy (love that, hate dry pad Thai). The sauce was a good balance between spice, sweet, and peanut. The wings smelled phenomenal. One friend had pineapple barbecue wings that were described as "f*ing amazing!" Another had hot wings that were described as "delicious with the perfect amount of spice and heat, fried to perfection and 100% would order again." The wings also had a lot of sauce, paired with sticky rice and macaroni salad on the side. Also, the macaroni salad should be offered as a side. I can't wait to try more tomorrow! read more

Stumbled upon this gem after arriving to Maui and I can say it was a HIT! The owner extremely nice and humble and I can really tell he loves cooking good food because it did not disappoint! The red curry was deliciously well balanced in flavors and creamy! The fried rice was out of this world we got it with chicken and definitely reminded me of fried rice from back home (Puerto Rico). Food was good but not great. My kids shared the chicken pad thai and I got the chicken pad see ew. While I did enjoy my plate, it seemed lacking in flavor and heat (perhaps I could've asked them to spice it up a bit, but wanted to see what their standard recipe was). I enjoy the pad thai and pad see ew at Thai Me Up much more. Staff was very nice and they made food pretty quickly on a Sunday night. Not sure if I would be back again though. read more

This was such a bomb place! I was walking back defeated when I couldn't find any Vegan options in this pod area. I jumped on this place when I saw they label Vegan options at the bottom of the menu. Saw this food truck area on our way to Costco today and stopped by for a few of us. The wife and I thought Thai sounded good so we tried this. Odd, no prices on menu board?? Everything on the menu says "the best you will ever taste" (ha). She loved her garlic shrimp. Good portions, cooked correctly and very flavorful and said the rice was very good. I hated my pad Thai. I have had many, many pad Thai all over the world and this did not measure up. Pad Thai should be sweet and tangy and spicy. Back in Maui, and was craving my new fav Drunkin' Noodles so went to Thai Mee Up where I first fell in love with the dish. Much to my dismay they were closed. Wandered through the sea of food trucks like a lost confused soul. I wanted my noodles and literally nothing else sounded the least but appetizing. Came upon Aloha Thai Fusion. Looked legit but I was very concerned they wouldn't measure up? So much so I also ordered some Red Coconut Curry as a backup. Walked back to my room and nervously unpacked the food. Would my craving be satisfied or would they be disappointed and I be left wanting and wondering what might have been if the original truck was open? (Sigh) I was immediately smacked in the face with that familiar savory spicy aroma I've come to love so I dove in face first (ok not really but I did use a fork since my chopsticks skills are still a work in progress). Long short, ladies and gentlemen we have a new winner! Absolutely fantastic and a huge portion as well.
