I've been meaning to leave this feedback for a long time, and unfortunately, this has been a consistent issue for almost two years now. The soda from the vending machine at this location has a very unpleasant taste, almost like a bathroom cleaning solution. It's not just a one-time occurrence either; we've experienced this repeatedly over multiple visits. What makes it more concerning is that we've tried soda from other locations in the city, and none of them have this issue. This seems to be isolated to this particular branch, which suggests there may be a problem with the machine, water supply, or maintenance. We genuinely enjoy the food and keep coming back, but the drink quality has been consistently off-putting. I hate to do this to my Filipinos but please don't mark my order time to be ready for pick up and then tell me at the drive thru that I will have to wait 20 min. Stayed at the pickup area and ended up waiting 30 min when we had ordered ahead of time. There really needs to be a change in how things are handled at this location. read more

The food was okay and still tastes like any other Jollibees. My family when here a few days ago and came very late. We got yum burger meals and also some pies. It was great, I just love the yum burgers. The staff is really the reason for my high rating as they were very accommodating and helpful. I'll always remember how nice they are. As a Filipino, I take pride in telling my friends how amazing Jollibee is. The crispy Chickenjoy, Palabok, and Peach Mango Pie are standout items. While the flavor profile isn't exactly the same as back home, Jollibee in the US is definitely a place that evokes nostalgia and feels homey. The only issue I have with this specific location is the slow service. It's supposed to be fast food, after all. They've been like this for a while, and I'm not sure what the reason is. First impression of walking-in everything is very clean, lots of open space with a good amount of seating. Staff were very nice and helpful as this was my first time here. I ordered the two piece spicy chicken combo with two sides. The two sides I ordered was the spaghetti and French fries . The chicken skin was very crispy, meat inside wasn't dry cooked just right . It had a nice little kick to it . It looks like they add some kind of hot sauce inside the chicken before they fry it . The spaghetti had little thin slice of hotdogs in it . I think they use BBQ sauce inside the spaghetti sauce, I wasn't a big fan of it. Fries were good and crispy. Over all the chicken was good. I will definitely come back and try other items . First time here at this location and our first time trying Jollibee. We went on a Saturday afternoon, and it was pretty busy. The service was friendly and helpful, and the food came out pretty quickly. We tried a little of everything, and the spicy chicken and gravy were very good, and we really liked the chicken sandwiches. The Adobo rice and the drinks, especially the cold brew coffee freeze, were great. The spaghetti was okay but not a big fan of it. Really liked the mango and peach pies and the Ube pie. I especially liked the area off to the side, where a person dining alone could sit, partially hidden/secluded. I had a two piece Chickenjoy and the skin was very crispy. The inside was a little pink for me. The spaghetti noodles were fine although I prefer a traditional sauce, not sweetened. I should have gone with the recommendations for the mango pie -- the ube was ok although there wasn't much filling. The crust reminded me of how McDonald's apple pie crust used to be - crackly crust. My meal felt a little like I was dining at the kids' table. This is probably on me though, as I could have ordered other items but I thought I would try the popular items. I went there yesterday for lunch just to find out the line was so long and it's going to take an hour or two hours just to get your order ridiculous in regards to the service over there. I went back today because I was craving for spicy chicken Joy at seafood City just to find out again it's busy it'll take an hour why is that?. It looks like I have to travel all the way to Skokie to have Jollibee over here because I know it takes some long to make the food but at least the service is quicker and there's less people that's the four stars ambience is a lot more contemporary than the one by seafood City in the Chicago area on Elston I recommend you come here if you don't want to deal with super slowness over there by Elston because just to eat dinner shouldn't take that long for chicken Joy. It sucks that I have to drive further despite living near the jolliebee on Elston next to Seafood City grocery store because the staff there move too slow.Only one cashier? Same at this place but at least the line is not super long although the wait is long. Again come here and DON'T go to the jolliebee in the city. Four out of five stars because you still have to wait but at least you don't have to deal with the line and slowness just to take your order which took almost 20 minutes. Not sure why I waited so long! Traveled from Milwaukee to taste the hype and it did not disappoint. I was a bit worried that it would be like a kfc or Popeyes but it surpassed them both. This is my new favorite fried chicken spot. A MUST stop when I going to Hmart. As our first stop and first meal of the day, We ordered the 3 piece original chicken with adobo rice, jolli spagetti, peach and ube pie, pineapple quencher. Chicken: Crunchy flaky and super moist and juicy. Every bite was heaven! The spice is unique, it taste somewhat like a white pepper and mushroom seasoning but was delicious! Better than kfc and I was a bit worried how it would compete with Popeyes but it definitely surpassed. Adobo rice: Warm, well seasoned, soft and flavorful. Pairs well with the chicken. Spaghetti: This side took me by surprise, it was different. The aroma or fresh tomatoes and a hint of pepper although it's not spicy I can smell the aroma. Probably the best spaghetti I've had lols. Give it a try! Peach and Ube Pies: Nice light flaky crust! Both were yummy but the peach is to die for!! Super tasty and not overly sweet. A nice desert to end the meal. The crunch and taste of the wings paired wonderfully with the sweet spaghetti. I got a combo that paired both items so I was very happy to try them together. I went through the drive-thru but the person that took my payment was soooooo nice!! She was quick to answer my questions and greeted me with a smile. If you've never tried Jollibee, you need to. They specialize in fried chicken and do a great job delivering crispy chicken skin and tasty chicken meat. They also offer Filipino spaghetti. If you're not familiar, back in WWII, General Douglas Macarthur was craving Napoli Spaghetti. Because food supplies were tight in the Philippines, they were short on items like tomatoes and spices. They substituted tomatoes with ketchup and used hotdogs for meat. General MacArthur loved it and the rest is history. One other thing to try is their deep fried peach mango pie. If you are old enough to remember McDonalds deep fried apple pies, these resemble them except WAY better! This atmosphere of the place resembles your typical fast food joint. Similar seating and order style. The people taking your order also resembles most fast food joints. Definitely a worthwhile try if you've never had it before. read more

I've had my fair share of food at Jollibee at this location and tried just about everything in the menu One of my favorite items from the menu: (Their Aloha burger) is a hit, juicy, meaty, with a nice sweetness from the pineapple. Fries are always freshly cooked and pineapple juice is consistently sweet and refreshing! Their spaghetti is bomb (I like ordering an extra cup of the sauce just because I like the sauce), the palabok is super tasty, their burger steak is unappealing but full of flavor, their yum burgers are always a winner (especially yum burger with cheese), and their chicken sandwich are also pretty good. Their famous chicken joy is average at best, nothing too crazy. Sometimes they're cooked fresh and crispy, MF juicy but most of the time I feel like it's been left out for too long (or at least by the time I get it) it's never consistent which is a deal breaker for me. They used to have some cool stuff on their menu like their breakfast menu, boba slush, etc. which they don't offer anymore which is a big bummer. Wait time is always super long: average time I had to wait for food is about 15-25 mins (which is not the employee's fault but I wish the higher ups would put more effort into reaching this standard.) read more

Absolutely a waste of time going to the Jollibee on Touhy. I've been there on four separate occasions and only had one decent experience. VERY long wait times, and it didn't matter if you ordered inside or drive through- you WILL have to wait. By definition, this is NOT a "fast" food restaurant. My last time there (today), I waited 10-15 minutes (first in line) to place my order. No one came or even acknowledged that I and the woman behind me were there waiting to place our orders. Everyone was too focused on getting the online deliveries out the door. The woman behind me lost her patience and asked a woman walking by if we could place our orders. She hesitated, but then continued toward the register. All I wanted was a 10-piece so I placed my order, but she said that it would be a minimum of 45 minutes (on top of the 15 I've already waited). I was so frustrated that I just kindly told her "no thanks" and left the store. Why is it that all other chicken places can pump out chicken except for this Jollibee on Touhy? Is there a need for more fryers? Then get more fryers? Find out what's holding up the orders and FIX it. How has this problem been going on for 3 years (at least), now? Very poor customer service (why not train your staff to say "we'll be right with you"?). Knowing that your staff is failing at hospitality and doing nothing about it is a failure of management. Not being able to figure out a solution for poor service times is also a failure of management. If a larger budget is required to purchase the equipment and provide the manpower necessary to deliver results, then take these reviews higher up and let the statistics speak for themselves. Got my order filled at about 2:00 pm, with no explanation or apology as to why it took so long. The lady at the drive thru didn't even remember what car I was in, instead passed my car by. Needed lunch closeby from dealership and saw Jollibee as an option. Previously tried adobe rice, chicken tenders and peach mango pie at different location. On this day I got the comb 2 piece spicy with fries. Additionally included soda, pie and gravy. I enjoyed my meal but wished the chicken was fried slightly longer. The pie was amazing as usual. This location has a drive through and it was really convenient. All-in-all, I was satisfed with my meal for the price. I will try Jollibee again because those pies are banging. I'm writing this review having not actually had their food. Hear me out before you call me a jerk. I had heard so many good things about their chicken and wanted to try it out. My Tuesday was open, so I decided to make the hour haul to the north side. I got there at around 11:30 in the afternoon, hoping to avoid the lunch rush. I ordered chicken with 2 sides (I think). The woman taking my order said it would be a 45-minute wait. I asked why, and she said they were out of fried chicken because they had a large order. Soooo, I asked her what else I could order, and she said everything would take 45 minutes. I left angry and will never go back. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Jollibee was open on Christmas Day. I was randomly thinking of the Japanese tradition of doing "KFC" rice on Christmas Day and I thought how cool it would be to make the rice with Jollibee instead. I mostly just wanted some chicken but I ended up opting for the Chicken Joy Meal deal with 10 pcs + 3 sides. It was more than enough for dinner and I can make my "KFC" rice with the left over chicken. The service here was great and they were very apologetic for the delay in our order but I saw it as having freshly made chicken instead of getting ones that had been sitting out. Placed an online order from home for 2 of the same exact meals. Go there 30 minutes later and somehow only one of the orders is ready. Ok....We waited 15 more minutes until I went back up to the counter to find out what's going on. Finally managed to get someone's attention (they will ignore you until you take the initiative to forcefully capture their attention) - Bro took 4 steps into the kitchen and came right back out to casually mention that it's going to be another 30 minutes for the mac n cheese to be ready. No apology or jolly spirit, this dude looked like he was on the verge of grabbing the nearest drumsticks to stab his own eyes out. Would have been great to know this information before waiting an extra 15 minutes.. There were several other people who's orders got messed up. We somehow got our order before this poor older lady who had been waiting there before we even showed up. At any one point, there's probably 4 or 5 employees cluelessly shuffling around behind the counter and grab-assing past each other on their way to screw something up. Decided to pop in last minute on a weekend dinner time. The place was semi busy. They have 25th anniversary specials going on now. We ordered a $28 special which included 10 pcs of chicken joy and 3 peach mango pies. The chicken was pipping hot and it comes with 2 dipping sauce gravys. The chicken is not overly salty, we got the original- no spice. The peach mango pies were just as good as a remembered them, flaky, filled goodness. When they say spicy chicken, its actually spicy. I had a mean hankering for palabok & repeatedly heard the praises of Jollibee from friends/family. Of course I took to Yelp to see what was nearby & saw this location was a short drive away. I wasn't really in the mood for fried chicken, but I knew I'd have to try it. One simply does not go to Steakhouse only to order a salad, right? Instead of hitting up the drive thru, I opted to go inside. From what I could tell, there's only one way in & one way out, understandably during this pandemic. I was greeted warmly, ordered my food, & it was a very short wait. Five minutes, if that. The quick drive home was torture as I could smell the goodness filling my car. So onto the food - the chicken was amazing! Both with or without the gravy. (FYI, I ordered mild, but they do give you an option to half & half even on a 2 piece order.) Insanely crisp, not greasy at all, & full of flavor! The palabok was wonderful all things considered... this isn't your family's recipe, so with that in mind, I felt it fair to not hold it to this standard.
