My boyfriend and I come to this Jollibee pretty often when we are at the mall and hungry as they always provide good service, good food, and we get everything in a good timely manner. I don't think I've had anything that was meh at this location and this spot gets very busy, but despite that you will get a buzzer to let you know when you come get your food or if you did an online order then there is a section where you can tell them your name and they will usually have it ready for you. The staff here are very friendly and helpful in assisting customers. They are also bilingual so you can speak Tagalog or English! There is quite a bit of seating from solo, couples, and family seating. The most recent visit, I noticed they didn't have tables and chairs at the front but they also are doing a FFXIV collab so they were probably really busy. Speaking of the FFXIV collab, this location had the limited drink and it was pretty good. It does just taste like a watered down Gatorade but I did enjoy the crystal boba and they included a generous serving of it. I also appreciate that FFXIV themed buckets, boxes, and cups are only given to those who order the FFXIV items so that way people who actually want them get them. read more

I don't get to southcenter area as much as I used to, but I had the occasion to yesterday. I decided to stop into Jollibee before the dinner hour rush. You know a place is good when you walk by it and almost every time you can count on a line of people extending out of the store and into the mall. That describes this Restaurant 100%. Long lines, but they do a great job of getting people through and waiting on the next in line. They have a couple of dining room attendance who keep things spotless. As soon as the table is cleared, they are quickly over there cleaning up any trash and wiping everything down. Seating is at a premium. I ordered a two piece chicken,Joy with one side and a drink. The mashed potatoes were a great surprise. They had chunks of real potato in there, and they were really good. The chicken was crispy without being greasy and delicious. You can order items off the menu like spaghetti, fried chicken, burgers, mango or Ube pie for desserts. Friendly and speedy cashiers on a Wednesday morning, the employees are so nice and friendly. No drive thru available as it's inside the mall, but it didn't matter to me as it was walking distance from my nearby hotel. The spaghetti is just about as nostalgic as Asian inspired spaghetti taste-- hot dog slices and all. My friend got the three piece chicken strip meal which he said was good. Came with a sauce that was very peppery. The fries weren't as crispy as we wanted so probably would pick a different side next time. I went on a Friday around 2pm, and it was packed. Huge crowd, with the place being jammed with Jollibee aficionados. Place your order at the counter and you get a buzzer for when your order is ready, which I was really grateful for as you wouldn't be able to hear anything called out over the amount of noise in this Jollibee. Service at the counter was fast and minimal, and I don't blame them for trying to get through the lines as fast as they can. However, waiting for the food took 15 minutes. For this visit, I got the original chicken, fries, guava refresher, peach mango pie. All were great and to-order with the hot things hot and the cold things nice and cool. There's a fair amount of table seating, but with how many people there are you may have to poach a table elsewhere in the mall. Tables are messier than what you would expect at a typical fast food joint, and I did a lot of wiping them down myself before digging in. This particular location within the Westfield has other food options if you don't want to brave the line (right next door, there's three other great spots). I've come here for their really juicy fried chicken, spaghetti and even their halo halo, and they're all pretty big hitters! I'd go more often though if there weren't always long lines to eat here nearly every time of the day. This time I came here with friends on a Sunday around 11am to try some of the collab items they have with KATSEYE, and there was still a long line for their food. My friends and I ended up ordering our food using their mobile app and wait times were definitely much lower though probably not by much given that servers were behind on making orders. There are two separate lines, one for ordering on the spot, and the other for online orders and food delivery services. For mobile orders, you would place your order on the app then let servers know your name once you get a text saying your food's ready. The text messaging system is a little off, though I'd recommend this method to skip the lines during peak hours. If you do want to dine in here, it's your regular fast-food-like joint with a ton of tables sit at and high noise levels. I put in an order for their KBBQ chicken sandwich combo with 2 biscuits and a passion fruit tea as my drink through the app... and only the last two items were correct. Instead of the KBBQ chicken sandwich, I got 2 pieces of KBBQ chicken. I think that the "2pcs biscuit" text on my receipt was misinterpreted as 2 pieces of KBBQ chicken since I could see that the servers behind the counter were rushing to fulfill everyone's orders. That mistake somehow didn't affect my experience here, though; both the KBBQ chicken sandwich and 2 pieces of KBBQ chicken are actually the same price when you don't count the extra cost of the sides, and the KBBQ chicken itself is so tender, juicy, good and not overly spicy! The meat pulls right off the bone, and it sits up there as an above-average fried chicken that I'd recommend. Let me tell you how much I adore Jollibee. Ever since I was first introduced to this place, it has yet to disappointment me with there juicy and crispy fried chicken. Honestly, the best fried chicken I've ever had for a fast food chain. It's even better when you dip the fried chicken in their savory gravy that comes with it. And having it along with a side of rice is the clincher. You can wash it down with their Pineapple Quencher which is refreshing as heck! As for the other items, those are honestly optional for me. The Jolly Spaghetti is a great kid pleaser, but it isn't your typical spaghetti since it's more on the sweeter side of things because this is a Filipino fast food chain serving Filipino Spaghetti. Not everyone's cup of tea, but it isn't bad. Respect it. The ube and mango pies are pretty beloved by some, so I would say it's worth checking out if you like that old school McDonald's apple pie. It's pretty much made the same way, just different flavors. If you don't want to venture too far off from the fried chicken, then definitely try their chicken sandwich. Same great chicken, but in a bun. It definitely competes well against Popeye's Chicken Sandwich. So this place is located inside West Field Mall and looks like a busier KFC. Do you know how dead KFC looks inside?! Well Jollibee's is mad popping!!! Arrived at a huge line, all the way out the mall entrance but we were able to walk to the front of the line, show our order number and got our food in 10 minutes. Grabbed seats and sat down to our hot and Yummy food! One star lost due to not having spicy chicken. I drove three hours from Portland, Oregon to this location only to be met by disappointment. The pieces of chicken were undersized, the spaghetti seem dry and seriously lacked spaghetti sauce. The Palabok was bland and tasteless. No hint of garlic flavor. There are no shrimp and most importantly small pieces of chicharron sprinkled about. So disappointing indeed. That's why it's bland tasting because all the essential items that makeup a great tasting Palabok is not there. They only provided 7 slices of egg on top. I haven't even got the peach mango pie yet so I'm hoping that's not disappointing as well. Hopefully when the Tacoma side opens up, they'll have better quality at that location, but why should I even worry when I know there's going to be one built here, near Portland six months from now. For sure, this place will only be for local Filipinos in the Portland area and I doubt that anyone would be driving from far to come to this location since it's between Washington and California. Still, nobody beats the quality of chicken being served in the Bay Area. Sure they have their shortcomings but the portions there are much larger especially in Milpitas or even the OG in Union City. Whoever is running this branch seems like they're trying to cut corners by omitting the good stuff out amongst other things. I feel bad for all the Filipino's living in the area subjected to this substandard Palabok and they have no choice because there are no other Jollibee's except for 100s of miles away.
