It's disappointing to give this restaurant a one-star review. Max's was our first choice for dinner tonight, but we waited a long time to be seated even though the restaurant was not busy at all. After finally being seated, we waited again with no one coming to take our order or even acknowledge us. In disbelief, my husband and I eventually decided to leave and go to a different restaurant. I sincerely hope the management addresses this issue so other customers don't experience the same poor service.

Saddest plate of sisig I've ever had. Super thin layer, no chillis, no egg. But the drinks were good.

The restaurant was rented out so seats were limited to the tables along the wall. We had to wait a bit but not too bad. It was super loud because of the parties which was ok. Always nice to see happy people. The service was good because the servers were still friendly trying to speak loud enough to talk over the loud music but kind of took a while, I'm guessing because they were busy with the parties. Saddest part was the food. The sisig was a super thin layer definitely not a shareable platter at that size. The pinakbet was just ampalaya and the pansit was dry. If I brought a date here to try Filipino food I'd be embarrassed. For the price and quality you're better off at grill city. Filipino food should be served with pride. This wasn't it. One star for effort, and another one for the lumpia (not pictured) and buko juice.

The food is very good. I ordered Beef Caldereta, Fried Lumpia and Halo halo. The beef was very tender and tasty. The lumpia was good and the Halo halo is the best. I enjoyed the meal and we are going back again. The service was very good, the server kept checking up on us if everything is good and if there is anything we need or want. Very polite. Overall, the experience is great!

This was our second year spending Thanksgiving here, and we love that they offer a family holiday price--it makes lunch so convenient and saves us so much time from cooking. It's the perfect option for anyone who doesn't want to cook or deal with the cleanup. Service was quick once we were seated, and they brought out the Thanksgiving specials for all three of our families efficiently. Our server was the same person we had last year, so she was already familiar with us, which made the experience even better. My only hope is that they prepare a bit more for large parties next year. Aside from that, the food and service were amazing, and we're already looking forward to coming back next Thanksgiving!

We went to Max's for lunch to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday. We'd heard good things about their fried chicken and Filipino dishes, so we ordered a variety of items for our group of 11. We probably ordered more than we needed, but we wanted to try several popular dishes. We got two orders each of: * Lumpia Shanghai * Pinakbet * Fried Chicken * Chicken Sisig * Kare Kare * Bicol Express * Lechon Sisig * Pork Adobo * Pancit Canton * Rice Everything tasted great. My personal favorites were the Lumpia Shanghai, Fried Chicken, and Kare Kare. We had plenty of leftovers to take home, and the total bill was around $468. I'd come back for my favorite dishes again and would like to try their Halo-Halo next time.

Honestly this was such a good find! We were around the southcenter parkway area to do some last min Christmas shopping and got a little hungry so decided to come check it out. The service was absolutely quick and super attentive, when I tell you they sat us down quick and got our order quick and brought it out quick like wow. The food was AMAZING like hello no wonder why their chicken was famous lol. We had also ordered some pancit and lomi which were super good, overall everything we ordered were super good even our drinks too especially their calamansi! The ambiance of the place is actually way more spacious than I thought it would be and since it's the holidays it was decorated for the Christmas season and that was super nice. Definitely come here as a group to eat or even to try out Filipino food.

This is the best Filipino food I've had in the seattle area. We ordered the Kare kare, Laing, and the whole fried chicken. The kare kare sauce was super tasty, but wish there was more oxtail and veggies for the amount of sauce there is. I have been craving Laing as well and this really hit the spot. The chicken skin was also sooo good, but the banana ketchup was really watery and was sweeter than actual banana ketchup. I also really enjoyed that they gave little cups of shrimp paste on the side and are able to get extra. We got our food quickly and had multiple people check in on how we were enjoying the food. They also have a party room in the back so we had groups singing karaoke in the background. Overall, loved the vibes and definitely need to go back and try more things on the menu.

Got here on a Friday night around 6pm and my party of 3 got seated very quickly since there's tons of tables and booths and it wasn't busy at all. Place is very clean and spacious, so it's surprising that the location of its front door makes it feel like a literal hole-in-the-wall joint. This is your regular dine-in restaurant with a good selection of food. My group and I ordered a whole fried chicken, a lechon kawali sisig, pork adobo and a large bowl of garlic rice. We overestimated what we could get here, but it was still worth getting. - The fried chicken was definitely the best part of the meal. The skin was flavorful and crispy, and also came with a small set of fries. There wasn't as much meat as I would have wanted in both pieces, though. - The lechon kawali sisig was a nice mix of salty and savory at the same time. Some pieces were harder to chew than others, and adding the lemon somehow added conflicting tastes to the meat that I'm just not sure how to describe. Combining it with the garlic rice is definitely a great way to enjoy it. - The garlic rice was all right, nothing special about it. It was white rice with garlic bits sprinkled and mixed. - The adobo in my friend's pork adobo dish was yummy as well. Dishes here were overall just all right, otherwise the quality could have been better for some of the stuff I got.

When you have a filipino wife, you have to find filipino food. We've tried several maxs. This was one of the better ones. Sisig is always one of my favorite dishes here. The pancit was very good. Pretty good sized portions.

How do you promote a promotion for your $8 chicken in your 80th anniversary and not be prepared for the demands? Saw one person working in the front to care for dine in patrons, give out already ordered $8 chicken, and can't take new orders. Less than 20 people when I got there and watch the unorganized promotion run by a business that was definitely act like they are new. I understand understaff but definitely should have been more prepared.

Ambiance. Very open, lots of seating especially for large parties. Eating alone would look awkward. Modern and clean lines. Service. Friendly and accommodating. Products. Always does not compare to homemade, but better than decent for restaurant quality. The Lechon (pork belly) was my favorite, but need a lot more sauce. Of note. Lot parking and loos clean and stocked. Overall. Good place to take a newbie. Would rather do takeout.

    Halo halo
    Yen D.

Food came out quickly. The fried chicken has unseasoned skin but it is crispy. The meat itself was a bit too dry. Sinigag with pork was good. Garlic rice used the pre chopped garlic from a jar so the garlic scent wasn't as strong as I would like. Halo halo had pieces of jelly and flan, Rice Krispies and a piece of flan. I'm more into the batter of the chicken skin so this isn't quite my taste.

Though we originally came for the chicken, we ended up getting more than we needed! We could wasily make what we got here at home, but why not! Since we came the moment they opened, service was quick and fresh! You could hear the best songs playing while you hear the chefs singing their hearts out tg! Bunch of laughter and fun-a pre-mothers day dinner!

Potato skins and garlic rice were good too, though less garlic would have been better. Could easily make this into a garlic egg fried rice and larger portions. The staff were super attentive and took time to explain everything to first time visitors. Steady stream of take out orders as seating is limited. Would come back to try the other sides too. Happy to report no reaction for gluten free member of our family, top marks for safety.

I wondered if now that they've been open awhile they are now serving smaller tenders? The chicken - I have dined here 7-8 times since it opened. With the exception of my most recent visit for dinner on 7/10/26, the tenders were big, well-seasoned, juicy and crispy. I was disappointed on the last visit. The tenders were much smaller, were overcooked, and dry. I hope this was a one-off, because I would hate to see the food quality go downhill. The fries - the hand-cut, perfectly cooked and seasoned fries are amazing. The servings are huge, and the fries are hot & crispy. They serve the best fries I've tasted. The condiments - I love the condiment bar! They offer a wide variety of sweet, savory, spicy dipping sauces which you pump into serving cups and come back for more! The fountain beverages are also self-serve with free refills. The custard - I've only ordered the custard once. We took it home and it was very good. You won't be disappointed. However, right across the parking lot is Humble Cow ice cream and, given the choice, I definitely prefer Humble Cow. Service - the service is always efficient and friendly. I like that they bring the food to your table as soon as it's ready, so it's always fresh & hot. Atmosphere - the restaurant and tables have been clean on every visit. They have some TVs for watching games. The high ceilings make it overly loud and the air conditioner makes it so cold you'll want to have a sweater handy. The photo of tenders was from an earlier visit. They were much smaller on the latest visit.

What sounds better than fried chicken? Krispy Krunchy chicken!…read more Two of us came here for a quick afternoon snack. It's located within the 76 gas station which I never would have expected. For being such a small counter, they have a relatively large selection. Choose between their hand-breaded chicken, jumbo tenders, wings, etc. and don't forget to add a honey butter biscuit! We shared the 3-PIECE TENDER + BISCUIT (one sauce included), which was a little over $8. The chicken was already cooked, so the employee kindly packed it up with a cup of BBQ sauce as requested. Some edges of the tenders were pretty crispy, but I wouldn't say they were completely crunchy throughout. I admit, it was about 20 minutes before we started eating so I'm not sure if that made any difference, but we had left the bag completely open to prevent any condensation. The breading was on the thinner side and described as mildly Cajun. The flavor didn't particularly scream Cajun to me, but it did have some spice from what seemed like lots of black pepper. We preferred the chicken plain, but I alternated bites with the BBQ sauce which added a bold hit of sweet smokiness. The tenders were all very meaty, lean (despite just a couple pieces of gristle), somewhat juicy and lived up to their jumbo size! The biscuit was also delicious... slightly crisp on the outside with a soft interior. It had a subtle sweetness from the honey and was nice and flaky. Yum! Even though the crunch factor didn't wow me, this was still a solid fried chicken that I'd gladly eat again.
