I was happy to hear that they were reopening Jollibee in Vallejo! Of course the Jollibee's here dont taste as good as the ones in the Philippines, but I'm still happy its here! I usually either get the spaghetti, I'm disappointed that they dont serve a meal with fries anymore and I have to buy it separate! Or I get the tocino breakfast meal. We came here after we got out from Six Flags and did not realize how close it was. We barely made the time as it closes at 9pm. Not a fan of the Filipino-style spaghetti to begin with, but the spaghetti is so sweet you'd think you're eating a dessert. Some people like that, but not me though. The food is wonderful but the service is the terrible. Jollibee will always be the flavor of my childhood. If you're looking for the Jollibee goodness, this spot does not disappoint. However, when I tried to introduce my boyfriend to Jollibee's chicken joy the cashier told me that it would be a 5 minute wait for the chicken and asked if that was ok. I said it would be fine since we do not live closed by and I really wanted my boyfriend to taste the chicken. But another employee pushes the cashier aside and tells us that it will actually be a 20 minute wait and adds that they are closing in 20 minutes implying to not order the chicken. Clearly, that particular employee was unwilling to do her job when they had a good amount of time left. I have been at this store multiple times and this is not the first time they have done this. Whether it was 20 minutes or one hour before they close, the employees seem to tell every customer that they are closing. On top of that, we ordered an Aloha burger and it was missing the Aloha! No pineapple! It is a disappointment to the Filipino pride that the employees in this store do not share the iconic Jollibee joy. read more

I usually end up getting a snack here whilst doing the suds and dry next door but I just bought a new washer and dryer so I may not go here weekly anymore... Been to the Vallejo location for a 3rd time in the last 4 months. Usually on the weekend but been here both for lunch and dinner. Length of time to wait for food does vary. During the busiest times, you may wait up to 20 mins after you order to get your food. I always get the spaghetti, it's always amazing. However, my major bone of contention, it's not unusual for this location to run out of the spicy chicken. It's well known for their chicken but for them to constantly run out of the spicy chicken is very frustrating. I've seen customers walk out once they hear spicy is not available. Popeye's seems to be a more reliable option than this place for chicken. Spaghetti...none better. read more

So the location is not driver friendly the parking lot is usually crammed and the drivers are not safe or aware of pedestrians. The location seems to be a smoke screen of understanding because I stated 4 times I would like a spicy chicken bucket. The chicken we received was plain fried chicken. Now this is may not seem to be a problem but my girlfriend is pregnant so it's more of a problem to me then it is to her because I want her to be happy for the food she gets. First the staffs need more training on customer service.. I went in 15 minutes before closing. I wanted to order a 6 piece bucket which cost about $ 10.00 but they only had two pieces but she was going to charge me over $ 5.00 for only 2 pieces. I'm EXTREMELY disappointed with this Jollibee location. We ordered a party pack spaghetti and two palabok chicken combos. It took them at least 30 minutes to get us our orders and we found out the next day they gave us a party pack palabok instead of spaghetti! WE WAITED FOR SO LONG AND PAID AROUND $30 TO HAVE THEM GIVE US THE WRONG ORDER. The cashier that took our orders also seemed like he had an attitude problem! He rolled his eyes when we took a little bit longer to decide what we were going to order and overall felt the vibe that he didn't wanna be there. The place is disgusting! There were at least 3 tables that weren't cleaned up and there was water spilled all over the floor. While waiting for our food (for what felt like the longest time) I saw that there were two employees that weren't doing anything and were on their phones in front of their "manager." I don't know if the manager was really busy or didn't see them but if they had the time to be on their phones they could've first done their jobs and cleaned up the place before doing anything else. tl;dr -This location doesn't have welcoming employees. Wow, it's finally open. They found a better location for this Filipino chain restaurant. It's in the center of little Manila in Vallejo now, where Seafood City is....if you're Filipino, you KNOW where this place is. So, I pull up into the parking lot...and OMG...line out the door....are you serious? On a weekday? I guess! I was looking forward to my Spaghetti, fries, and my Melon drink...yay! I know, what a combo right! Service was not efficient yet, still on filipino time....but they are super nice. It took awhile to get my order...but holy guacamole they don't have my Melon drink? Oh heck no....I was sooo craving that. They had the Ube and some other pearl drink, but I wasn't feeling that. Whatever, but I did notice they have some changes in the menu...like they have a similar loco moco plate (beef pattie with some gravy w/ rice). Well, my spaghetti was just how I remembered it, lil' sweet and yummy and the fries were delicious. I also picked up a peach mango pie togo...for later! This Jollibee is pretty small, but hopefully they'll get their act together and pick up the pace and deliver some good fast service. This place is always busy. It's located about 3 doors down from the Seafood City Market, a Filipino grocery store. The layout could be better. You walk in and right in front of you, about 10 feet from the door, are the registers. We stood in line half in the building and half out. We were in that awkward position of having to hold the door open just so we could keep our place in line. Why is this place busy when the food is so-so? Well, Jollibee is kind of like the Filipino version of a McDonald's. If ever you get the chance to visit PI, you'll see them everywhere. So I guess there's a bit of nostalgia that brings people here. Food- they have your typical burgers, fries, and fried chicken. But they also serve Filipino spaghetti which never made much sense to me. What is Filipino spaghetti you ask? It's basically your usual spaghetti but with a very sweet tomato sauce AND!!! They add slices of hot dog. Don't ask me why. What I do like coming here for are their jackfruit (lanka) pies. It's very similar to the apple pies found at McDonald's but with jackfruit filling. We stood in line just for these and we took the last four they had. Sorry folks! read more

Almost four years ago, I came to California for a vacation. I had just graduated from college, and thought that an adventure outside of my native Michigan was warranted. My cousin and I made the trip together and stayed with relatives. We decided to visit Lake Tahoe for the last weekend of our stay. On the way back, we stopped in Vallejo for the specific purpose of going to Jollibee, as there are no Jollibees in Michigan. We just about ordered the entire menu. I had a Yumburger and a Chickenjoy. I may have also had a peach-mango pie, some ice cream, and whatever else my relatives did not finish. My aunt had bought some halo-halo. She didn't want it after all, so I decided to eat it too. When we got back to my aunt and uncle's house, my cousin wanted to grab some In n' Out, since it was our last night in California (Michigan does not have In n' Out, either). I went with him, but I wasn't feeling up to eating. I was starting to get chills and even though I had eaten close to five hours before, my stomach still felt full. After the In n' Out run, the chills got worse. A wave of extreme nausea hit me, and my stomach was in excruciating pain. I passed out on the couch that night, drenched in my own sweat. My aunt said I was grinding my teeth and clutching my abdomen all night. It took me a full week before I could eat anything, and another week after that to completely shake off the effects of my sudden illness. I learned later it turned out to be salmonella. Through process of elimination, we deduced that I contracted it through the halo-halo, since the halo-halo was the only thing I had by myself, as no one else suffered the same symptoms I had. Obviously, I missed my flight home. I would never return to Michigan as a resident, and ultimately ended up staying in California permanently. My visit to Jollibee irreversibly changed my life forever. I have not eaten halo-halo since. read more

Although this is a fast food place it's just about the only decent one (since there's no In and Out in Vallejo) in the entire county. They are definitely a notch above KFC and Popeye's when it comes to the chicken; their spicy is actually spicy and always very crispy. They happen to label the spicy to so you don't get them mixed up. I also happen to enjoy the spaghetti they have too on occasion. That being said, for a fast food fried chicken joint their pretty decent and although I wouldn't be caught eating this stuff every day, once in a while it won't hurt. Cons: My only complaint would be the price for the chicken and the sometimes slow service to take your order as well as parking if you're going on a weekend. read more

For what it is, I think its good. Filipino-style fast food. Sweet spaghetti topped with melted cheese and fried chicken with gravy on the side or on top of rice. Does it get any better than that? Cashiers up front were quick. Not too friendly but got the job done. A older male worker was literally on standby to pick up every crumb that fell and to clean up after every table. Restaurant was spotless to say the least. Food wasn't my cup of tea since it's too sweet for my liking, but I can see why others would enjoy it. Hype did not meet my expectations though. Other than the chicken- the spaghetti, pineapple drink, and mango pie was more than what my sweet tooth could handle. What they're serving here is nothing close to the Jollibee I grew up with in Manila. If you haven't eaten in Jollibee in the Philippines, then you won't have any idea in the first place that what you are eating is inferior to the real thing! If you are after their famous (fried) chicken joy I recommend that you try the nearby Max's or Chowking.
