I've been getting haircuts from a stylist named Kelly ever since I was little (I'm almost 25 now) and there has never been a time that she gave me a haircut I didn't like. Last week, I decided to splurge on a haircut. I was just unsatisfied and unhappy with the way other salons were doing my hair. This is where I was taught that you really get what you pay for! I have always been hesitant to pay more than $25 for a haircut because my belief was that, they were not going to do it exactly how you want them to so why should you pay more?? I sent a request on their website that morning to see if they could see me at 6:00PM, after I got out of work, and even though it was really close to their closing time, they happily booked me ASAP. I arrived near 6:00 that evening and was warmly greeted by a woman and was introduced to Andy, who was going to take care of my hair. They were both very lovely and welcoming. The salon smells great and is immaculately clean, which I appreciated! Andy asked me all the details about how I wanted my haircut and was very diligent in his work. I got a shampoo, a haircut and he blowdried and styled my hair. I have never loved my hair more than I do now! It's so beautiful! He was so gentle and he paid so much attention to details. The money I paid for this haircut is well-deserved by this business. Andy did my hair exactly how I explained it to him and by doing so, gave me my "dream" hair! My hair has never looked so good. Went here to get a trim and left somewhat disappointed for the price paid. Two stars because my hair looked much healthier since it was pretty much dried and dead but still noticed a bunch of split ends and my hair became dried and dead again within weeks. The salon I usually go to is awesome but my stylist is out on maternity leave so I tried Jon Paulo. Usually, it takes me several months to go back to get another trim but after leaving Jon Paulo, needed another trim within weeks. The stylist had a weird way of cutting my hair too, no glasses and you can't cross your legs. Plus, she used a hair dryer to dry my hair and literally the heat struck my necklace and burned my neck a few times. Also, my hair was so wet when she cut it, the water dripped down my face a few times, kind of annoying. Will not return, sorry. read more

So here is my story... I flew in from Africa the night before my appt which I had a friend make for me because of a hair emergency. While I was in Africa, a power surge had caused my blow dryer to super heat at melt the back of my hair. I came in to see Mimi the morning after my 22 hour flight desperate for help to save what hair I had left. Mimi was so amazing. She was very careful to examine my hair and we came up with a style and cut that would look great but would salvage as much length as possible. I can tell you how happy I was when she finished! I was in this hair salon today to get my fair done . First if all, it is NOT a five star salon. The only way this salon wound get five stars is from family members and CLOSE friends. My God, they still have plastic on all the chairs and everything looks old. It needs updating BIG time. Secondly, their was no air conditioning turned on. It was 92° outside today. They had the front and back door opened for air circulation. The owner was not there when I was there. Apparently when she and her clients leave she turns the air off. Are you kidding me. How absurd to treat paying customers this way. It was so hot I had to walk out. Evidently the owner is fixed on the bottom line income for herself as her employees were "afraid" to turn the air on because it's too expensive to run the air throughout the day. And this is a five star salon; you must be joking. It's cheap, old, and dirty. I will never ever step foot in this place again. I would recommend the same for you as well. read more

She's been a stylist for over 16 years and always keeps up with the new hair trends, so if you have trouble choosing a style, she can give you recommendations on what styles suits you best. She's one talkative gal and will definitely keep you company and laughing while making you look amazing! I had my hair cut and highlighted by her and she'll even give good recommendations on what shampoo and conditioner to use so your hair doesn't get damaged.
