Fish is good. Would have given a five star, but the bench seating is bad and the atmosphere needs work. Service very good.

Fantastic! Probably…read moreone of my favorite meals I've had in NC! Service was amazing from the host to the server. Everyone was amazing! Having never been there we relied on the server and he came through! He said he got us and surprised us with all amazing dishes from the apps to the main. Had the oysters - both steamed and Rockefeller and both were delicious! Awesome choice! For the entree my buddy had the stuffed cod and he said it was good! He also had the lobster risotto and the lobster loaded mashed potatoes. He said everything was amazing! I had the fried lobster and shrimp with the lobster bisque. The bisque was good with slightly too much sherry but after awhile you didn't even notice. Good sized chunks of lobster throughout an silky smoothie! Fantastic! The fried liver and shrimp were breaded and cooked perfectly! Nothing dry and everything perfectly moist. This place is a must try! If you're in the area and hesitant, don't be. It's fantastic! Great food and great vibes!

It looks like something direct from US Foods and thrown in a fryer. The service and the restaurant policies are so opposite of customer focused. They do not have outdoor service even though they have about 15 tables out. Apparently those are for "waiting" for an inside table. We brought our dog so planned to sit outside as we had done before. No longer an option but you can order to go. I was exhausted so and just wanted a nice dinner I didn't have to cook so I ordered to go. However, you cannot eat your food at their "waiting" tables. After we received our to go order I was told I had to move to a different area to eat the food: All of though the tables outside were open. The hostess should get an award for smiling while being so rude. Oh and someone came in with a service dog that was questionable at best; however, the person showed the service dog card at which point the hostess asked what service the dog performed (has she heard of HIPPA?). Find another place if you want good food or service.

They used to have a sign that said "No WiFi, talk to each other," But didn't see it this time around. Anyways, Linebergers is a great spot to eat at if you are looking for some good food in the Lake Norman-Mooresville area. This is a fairly casual steakhouse, so if you don't dress up you won't be the odd ball in the room, but you certainly have a choice. Every server is fantastic. They are friendly, they treat you like family, and are quick. To my knowledge, almost every entree comes with a trip to the salad bar. They have the BEST salad bar. DO NOT SKIP ON THE SALAD BAR! They also give you warm rolls with "Texas Roadhouse style" honey butter to start. I highly recommend the prime rib as an entree. Don't get me wrong, it's not the absolute best prime rib I have ever had, but it is up there. It has great flavor, is seasoned well, and is tender. Their creamy horseradish is just ok, but that does not ruin the quality of the meat. The last couple of times they put chopped onions in my mac-and-cheese, which was weird and didn't taste good at all, but luckily this time there were no chopped onions. Both my older and younger cousins got the mac-and-cheese also, and one said that the cheese was too bland, while the other said that the cheese was too strong (sharp). Me personally I think that it is on the more bland side, so Linebergers can take that advice and apply it into their recipe, but nonetheless it is still good. They have the best dessert called the "Lake Norman Mudd Pie," which is essentially a layer of vanilla, coffee, and chocolate ice cream with hot fudge, whipped cream, and Oreo pieces. It is a good treat to have every once in a while, but is rich!! But, if you want a sweet treat, I would recommend opting for that. As a summary, the hospitality at Linebergers is unbeatable and has some pretty solid food (don't forget about the incredible salad bar). Once again, if you are in the area, do not miss out. Head to Linebergers! You will not be disappointed.

Today I ordered fried mushrooms to pick up and arrived 25 minutes early. They were already waiting and needless to say cold and soggy. I waited another 20 minutes to get 'freshly cooked' ones and as I was leaving the parking lot opened them up and they were lukewarm. I was not going in again and waiting another 20 minutes. Not impressed with the quality of cooking or temperature of the food. With the volume they do you would think they could get it right.

Here was our experience: Ambiance: Very cute old building in Cornelius. Charming set up. Good for a date night or a smaller dinner. 8.5/10 Service: Our server was awesome. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Also, perfectly attentive. 9/10 Drinks: I had a Jack 12 year for $24 (great price) and an Elijah Craig Barrel Proof for $18 (not bad). My wife had a cocktail which was great and lovely. Bartender was super friendly. 10/10 Appetizers: We ordered 4 oysters which were perfect, fresh and well accompanied by homemade crackers and sauces (10/10). Also, ordered the brussels sprouts which were solid but less spectacular than their description (8.5/10). Entree: This is the one area that was a disappointment. My wife and I shared the tuna with crispy potato salad. I was super adamant that we want the tuna seared/ as raw as possible. Neither my wife or I enjoy cooked tuna. We even joked with the server to just "threaten the tuna with flame" as opposed to cook it. When it came out, it was at least 50% cooked with a little bit of pink in the middle. My wife was super disappointed and this kinda ruined her experience. Maybe we should have sent it back but we ate it. 3/10 If the tuna was cooked correctly, I probably give it a 5 star because we really enjoyed it. But cooking the tuna wrong in a michelin star restaurant after how adamant we were is kind of a huge miss. Maybe we will give it another shot.
