When researching various property management companies, Good Life's approach was the most straightforward and transparent with no long term commitments. After speaking with them multiple times with various questions, I was left with a feeling of assurance that I was in good hands. Being a first time landlord, I have no experience in knowing how to screen tenants, knowing the rules, etc., especially when my background is not in the real estate and rental business. Having a busy work schedule also means that I won't likely be able to attend to the tenant's needs in a timely manner. This is where Good Life fills in the gaps for me. The team at Good Life during the onboarding process has been super helpful and efficient in getting the property ready, whereas it would've taken me ages in trying to do it myself. I was assigned Andrei as my property manager and it's been a great start. He has been open, transparent, professional, and great to work with since the start. I recently had an online shopping shipment mis-delivered to my rental property, to which Andrei was instrumental in helping to coordinate the handoff between the tenant and me. Even though Andrei is my primary contact, I can see that they have great teamwork. On one weekend, I had a question to which I received an out-of-office note from him. But rest assured, another team member stepped in that day during his time off to help with my question. Good Life also has a great online portal for me to see all the documents and tax information. Their services have impressed me since the beginning, and I look forward to a great relationship moving forward. Keep up the great work, Good Life! I highly recommend them!

If there are issues or updates, they email, text, and/or send info via owner web portal. Savannah has been our point of contact at Good Life. She is the best! Very friendly and always follows up with our questions/requests. We've had a few repairs that our tenants needed. Chi (Maintenance coordinator) handled them smoothly and kept me informed. Again, great communication. Love the financial summary (and receipt) at end of year for our tax accountant. Documents are nicely arranged on the owner web portal. Love it. And...always like Steve's informative emails and YT videos on regulations and tips.

Royce is honest, friendly, and energetic. He has a wealth of knowledge about real estate and is more than happy to answer any questions or give you solid advice. If you are selling your home, Royce will do his best to let the market know that your property is available and he will help you get the best offer for your home. If you are buying a home, Royce wants to help you find and acquire the property that you love and you want to call home. Either way, Royce will help you see through the process from the beginning to the very end of the transaction. Such a transaction will always involve dealing with a mountain of paperwork, but with Royce guiding you through step by step it will make the experience much, much easier. Royce also helped my brother sell his home and is in the process of working with him to find a new dream home, and his experiences echo mine. Thanks again, Royce! You're the only real estate agent I will work with from now on.

This wasn't an easy home to handle, especially with the unpredictable HOA, but Royce was always patient, responsive, and incredibly supportive through every challenge. Located right off Nobel Drive in the UTC / La Jolla area, The Aventine Office Building consists of an eleven-story office tower, an adjacent six-story office building, and a three-level underground parking garage. I am currently a patient in a clinical research study there & I have to admit it is a nice building. I am not crazy about the parking garage that is confusing and hard to get your parking ticket validated for. There is very little public parking on the streets outside the Aventine Office Building. You take the parking garage elevator up to the Lobby and then have to switch to another elevator to get to the upper office buildings. Your first time there will have you thoroughly perplexed. A few parking spaces are reserved in the very front street level entrance to the building but most days they are quickly filled up. (Deducted 1 YELP STAR for problematic parking.) The Aventine Office Building is right next to the Hyatt Regency Hotel and Sporting Club at Aventine. It is certified LEED Existing Building Platinum and has an Energy Star rating of 100. So environmentally, this place is top notch. The views from most of the offices are awesome--even the ones that overlook the buzzing traffic of nearby Interstate 5, I have no doubt that the rents paid by tenants at this very fancy office building are through the roof. There are a variety of businesses here but most do seem to be high tech medical offices. Most of the office doors have lock contraptions on them that require a special code to unlock. There is also a lobby attendant on the ground floor who keeps an eye on things in the building. It does seem to be very secure and safe to be a tenant, client, visitor or deliveryman at the Aventine Office Building.

The dinner possibilities are endless by starting at Trulucks for drinks, then off to Flemings for dinner, and The Melting Pot for dessert. Or Flemings for drinks, Japengo's for dinner, etc, etc... There is plenty of street parking available, but due to the number of apartments in the area, finding an open space may require a bit of patience and a nice little walk. Instead, hit up the reasonably priced valet and enter just steps away from your favorite restaurant. Getting to the Aventine can be a bit tricky if you are not familiar with the area. Coming from most directions in San Diego, it is easiest to exit from the 5 and make your way straight onto University versus winding through the La Jolla business district. This is certainly one of my favorite date and celebration spots in San Diego. Come hungry. Leave happy.

We used their company to find us tenants as we decided to go a short term rental route. They had us set up with a great couple within a week and did all of the leg work. When we decided to try to sell again, Salvatore got to work and was very confident he could get what we were looking for. He didn't disappoint.... He had three offers to share with us after the first broker open. We accepted one, slightly more than we were asking, and closed within 25 days. I highly recommend Salvatore, Elizabeth and SDPPM whether your needs are rental or sale, both worked extremely well for us.

This company was hard to communicate on a good day and once things went sideways they were a nightmare to deal with. The "handyman" they used to perform repairs on my house was so bad once I terminated my service with San Diego Premier Property Management, I had to get a home inspection to determine everything that was wrong. From doing a lousy paint job, to using air piping on the garage water lines causing corrosion very quickly, to using PVC piping not rated for high pressure on the outlet of my pool pump there isn't much positive to say. I will say SDPPM is loyal to their handyman though, and stood behind him once I found out and showed them the facts. The most egregious issue was the replacing the water heater not to code, then after my home inspection I instructed them not to go back to the property to fix it, since I wouldn't know if the fix was correct or not and didn't want to have to get a 2nd inspection. SDPPM let the handyman back on site to "fix" what he did wrong anyways, only to not do it correctly a 2nd time. All of this was only discovered once I found the cell number of my tenants and reached out to them regarding some inconsistencies SDPPM was telling me, and then the whole thing started to come undone. All in all, there are lots of property management companies, and if you want to avoid a headache. Do not use San Diego Premier Property Management, and avoid Salvatore. Although this was quite a while ago that this affected me, based off the other reviews it seems like they are still doing the same thing.
