I've been going to Johnny for about eight months now, and he's been nothing short of excellent. He always has great availability, remembers exactly how I like my hair and beard, and is happy to accommodate even small, specific requests. I've had everything done here, haircuts, beard trims, you name it, and the quality is consistently top tier. At this point, I'm in every two weeks just for beard trims, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with it. The shop itself has a super relaxed vibe. Sports are always on, soft drinks are available, and it's just an all around comfortable environment. Johnny is professional, skilled, and genuinely easy to be around. In order to get to the salon, know that you have to enter through a front desk that manages a lot of smaller businesses which all have their own suites in the back. Super friendly vibe and seems like they have plenty of patriots. However the level of technical skills and the end result seemed a little underwhelming compared to barbers who've I've paid $10-15 more for. Jonny Diaz is the man. It took me forever (my whole life and I'm 30+) to FINALLY find someone who knows how to cut and style my difficult hair. Man I wish I found Jonny earlier, but thank god I found Jonny right before my wedding day. He knocked it out of the park for my special day and has kept me looking good since. He isn't phased by challenging hair and you can tell this is easy for him because he is just that talented. I used to think barbers were generally the same. Have been going to Jonny since he was at Floyd's and have always had a top notch experience. What sets Jonny apart is his attention to detail. I am Asian and get a fade on my sides and Jonny always takes extra care to make sure each angle is smooth and each hair in its perfect place.
