I am updating my review because of how impressed I was with the steps Brandon took to make sure his barber shop is as safe as possible during Covid. His effort truly blew me away. Not only does he and his staff change their outer clothes between each cut, not only do they wear masks AND shields, but they also change equipment between each cut! And Brandon installed foot-operated sinks and other barber tech to absolutely minimize hand touching. Insane! He must have dropped $10-20k on these things to make his customers safe. Dude gets it. You should get your cuts with him. This is a great place for a haircut (and hot shave and other men's hair related services)! I've been getting my cuts from Brandon for about a year and he is the best barber in West LA. He not only understands how you want your hair to look, but he provides good suggestions and remembers your preferences. The place is clean and modern and comfortable. There is whisky (and whiskey) to help relax more and good friendly banter. I am a fan and a repeat customer. read more

These guys are great at cutting hair and really, really good talkers. Particularly the owner Brandon. Even when I'm in a hurry or having a rough day, I leave this place with a smile. Brandon is an amazing barber. I have thick asian hair and I had been growing out my hair and hopping from barber to barber trying to figure out who'd be able to cut my hair succesfully. There are a couple barbers in the area that can actually give solid fades - but I have longer hair on top which seems to give most of them panic attacks or just having no idea what to do in terms of blending the fade into longer hair - or pulling weight out or adding texture etc. Brandon took his time and actually did an amazing job despite me not being able to give great direction on what I wanted. The cut was a little pricier than I'm normally used to, but it was 100% worth it for me and I'll definitely come back for my next cut. He's made a regular out of me if the next cut is as good as this one. read more

I had trouble finding the place, called them and finally found it but arrived 10 minutes late, that's on me, my bad. I was met with an extra rude welcome, Brandon said I was too late, which is ok I get it, but they way he went about it was weird and stand offish, as If he was stood up on a date. He didn't accept my apology, he offered me to his henchman Dan, who he vouched for. I felt bad so I agreed. That was a mistake, the dude was even unfriendlier, I didn't even really check out the haircut until I got to the car because the vibe was so bad, and the cut he gave me was, super whack.
