Their Pork Gyoza is a must try. The Spicy Salmon roll is really nice. Mango roll was refreshing and tasty. Avocado roll fresh and generous. Their Real Crab roll tasted previously frozen. I think they could do better with their Miso Soup with larger tofu chunks and adding seaweed. That would take it up a notch. Service was courteous but very basic and minimal. Two things to note: they open till midnight on weekends and they have a HUGE menu. Large selection of rolls and sushi but they have ramen, udon, donburis as well. The sushi rolls seemed pretty reasonable - I tried my daughter's mango roll and it was delicious! I had three sushi tacos - the shells are tempura fried seaweed - but much lighter than the food truck sushi tacos. These were really good - especially the mango avocado one. I loved the option to upgrade salmon one to sockeye - for only 50c! OTOH my wife's chicken udon was pretty meh. I originally wanted an oyakodon but after checking the description I passed. Their strength is sushi and fusion stuff. If you stick to those you should be good. read more

Unfortunately, the ambiance is horrible with the mid range music blasting, and the echos in the room as there is no sound dampening. I've made it my mission to try salmon donburi at any sushi restaurant and this one was one of the best I've had! The salmon cuts were huge and they tasted so fresh! Meh! Not the best sushi in town, but certainly not the worst. Nice new restaurant conveniently located next to Lonsdale. Very bright lights so you can definitely see what you're eating. Lol. The only place I love to be when I want to make myself happier. Their prawn tempura is the freshest and their Beef teriyaki will never disappoint you. Service is wonderful and all their waitresses are very friendly and accommodating. I prefer the old place in Lonsdale as it's cozier with its ambiance, but this new one is not that bad. Very easy to find as it is near the Lions Gate ER. If you're on a date, ask the waitress for assistance to get the best table for privacy. read more

Fantastic Japanese and fusion place in the heart of Lonsdale. It's so reassuring when you enter a Japanese restaurant and see two Japanese chef behind the kitchen table. I'm furious with Jordan Sushi. We've ordered from them at least a few times a month for years. My daughter has allergies, and they're always good about catering to them (they're pretty minor). Tonight we ordered via UberEats and Jordan called me to say they couldn't accommodate her allergies and to cancel my order. I did. UberEats then charged me the full amount of the order because Jordan has "accepted the order". When I called Jordan to ask them to fix it, the woman claimed to struggle with English and refused to help. I was a fan, but never again. read more

So...definitely not the first time we've enjoyed the amazing food created by these guys but now especially with the whole Covid 19 jazz going on...now we eat at home. So went into restaurant and ordered to take home. It was plain to see that they were busy with the folks inside waiting so had to wait a bit longer for order to be ready. After waiting they gave us some complimentary Miso soup....after getting back home (base of Mt Seymour) we found that with all the hustle that they forgot chip sticks and soy sauce/ginger. So I called and explained and not only did they send their driver but also gave a couple more Miso soups. Had nothing but great reviews before and after this...not 100% sure we'd order sushi anywhere else on Lonsdale. GREAT STUFF YOU GUYS! read more

I enjoyed my experience at Jordan Sushi. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We went for an early lunch to avoid the lunch rush and chef Jordan greeted us at our table. Definitely kid friendly, they even brought out an entire kid friendly setting for my 19 month old kid. The lunch combos are average (had it twice already) but a la carte dishes are very tasty and thoughtfully made. We had the toro sashimi today. Very fresh! Will definitely return to Jordan sushi. The inside is a bit dark but we sat by the window and it wasnt a problem. There is also patio seating (4 tables for 2) for those who enjoy being outside. read more

I'm always trying to expand my sushi haunts around North Vancouver and a Google for the best sushi restaurants in North Vancouver lead me to this establishment. My mother and I were there rather early for dinner on a Monday so it was pretty barren. We greeted kindly immediately and set upon what I found to be a rather creative menu. While you can get the more generic, yet tasty, types of sushi they have their own Lonsdale Role and other creations. I found the service to be prompt the Lobster Roll which I had was simply amazing. You get a considerable amount, more than most other lobster creations and I found the price to be less then other places as well. My mother had similar experience with her North Vancouver Roll. For a place with reviews at such strangely opposite sides of the fence this was a very positive experience for me in regards to decor, service and quality of the food. read more

First time here and I got the shrimp sunomono, ika (squid) nigiri and hotate (scallop) nigiri, and sashimi and sushi combo. I really wanted to like this place but every thing I tasted was disappointing in some way. I was happy when the shrimp sunomono came with baby shrimp instead of ebi because I think baby shrimp are more flavourful. But the shrimp tasted dry and the sweet vinegar broth was overly watery so I didn't get any flavour that I was looking for. I liked how they used two pieces for the ika nigiri but it smelled fishy where normally it shouldn't have a strong smell and should be firm on the outside but creamy and lightly chewy inside. This one was really hard. Tuna and salmon were very fresh and the tuna was quite delicious. The California roll was nice and tightly rolled without too much rice to bulk it up which is much appreciated. I also liked how much care they used in making sure the grains of rice weren't squished together and each grain is kept whole and distinct as good sushi is supposed to. But I wonder if it's because the rice was a bit dry and could've used more water during cooking. Service and ambiance were terrific. There was a mischarge on my bill that was immediately rectified and the owner happily apologized. I might give them another try if all the other sushi joints were closed for the night. The Sushi was great, better than Tawara up the road. They emphasis on the filling when it comes to their roles, with great quality,fresh ingredients!! Tempura was nice, not overly battered and definitely not to oily. We both very much enjoyed our meal, the wife says that the wine could be a little less expensive for the amount you get. read more

My server was so funny and nice and was always refilling my water and had great recommendations about the menu. I ordered the Miso Soup, Agedashi Tofu, Caterpillar Roll (HOLY YUM!), and Crispy Spicy Tuna Roll. All 4 were delicious and reasonably priced, my bill was $27 at the end of my meal. Also, during my meal the chef came out and greeted everyone and was very friendly as well. If not just for the sushi, the service is remarkable and so friendly! Ate at this over-priced restaurant yesterday. Some of the shrimp in the Ebi Sunomono were not properly peeled. The miso soup was bland and the California roll was lacking cucumber. Tuna nigiri was on a bed of badly prepared rice. All dishes were consistently horrible. Great place! I always come to Jordan sushi for my sushi day with the family. The staffs are very friendly. We love the Nigiri sushi as they always have very fresh meat. Their spicy chirashi is always something good to start and to share. Their new menu spicy udon is just incredible! It has the power of addicting as I continue to think of it when I'm hungry.
