One new thing that consumers should be aware of is if you make a cash purchase, and there is a need to return an item, they will not reimburse in cash. They can send you a check or you can do an exchange. Luckily, I found something and made an even exchange. Ms. Simin was very attentive and facilitated our purchase of an entire tuxedo suit including suit, tie, shirt, shoes, socks, cuff Iinks and slight tailoring. There was some confusion in ordering and receiving the shirt. In the end they went the extra mile to steam and press the shirt before handing it over. The Tuxedo looks great. read more

I have been doing business with Jos A Bank in Washington DC and Atlanta for about 50 years I think. Always a great value for mid priced men's suits. This time I took my son, and was able to fit him out with a new suit, a sportcoat, and some slacks, The whole process, taking less than 45 minutes, they do tailoring free , but fortunately, we have a good tailor in the neighborhood. I have been a client of Jos a Bank for over 15 years and I love some of their stuff. I am skin sensitive and they have these great pants that makes me feel great and very professional. I started to not go there for the last 6-7 years because they went very conservative in their color choice. Aaron runs this store and it shows in a very positive way. He is absolutely one of the best at what he does. It was not a slow day when I went into the store. There were many people in the queue for Aaron's time. He handled it like a pro. Triaging the customers like it was nothing. Essentially giving each customer the time and attention they needed to have a successful visit and walk out feeling like they were taken care of. It was my only visit to this store and did research reviews of other Jos. A. Bank stores. I drove about 10 miles further to go to this one and I am very glad I did. Aaron should be training other managers on how to properly run a store. BTW - not only was he triaging and helping customers but he was also dealing with a small staff who were not exactly contributing to solving his customer influx situation. read more

Went in to get a 3 piece tuxedo ( a jacket, vest , and pants of white color). A white jacket they gave me to try on has a black stain. Besides my jacket needs to get tailored. They soon to confirm they will switch to a non-damaged jacket for tailor. After 3 weeks of tailor, it turned out to be the same jacket with the black stain. read more

I had a pleasant experience with the Alpharetta Jos. A. Bank when I purchased a new suit and when I had a few things tailored. The attendants there were pleasant and professional. They were quick to help and answered any questions I had. They were a little pushy about buying other things but nothing unprofessional. Everything was swift and I was out of the store in no time. I'd recommend the Alpharetta Jos. A. Bank location. I was happy with my visit there. But be wary that locations differ in service. The East Cobb location had astonishingly bad service where the attendants, for the most part, ignored my existence / would not respond to my questions. read more

Just bought a suit and 4 pair pants. Had them measure me up for the suit adjustments. Spent my money and waited for the call on the suit to pick it up. The tailor didn't even make the measurements. Salesmen marked up the suit. They acted surprised that I wanted to try the suit on when I came back after the adjustments were made. I wanted an honest opinion on the fit and I couldn't even speak to the Tailor. They genuinely only care about the initial sale and nothing after. purchased a couple of suits. alterations sucked. had to go back to store 4 times. picked up the suits. they didn't have suit covers. suite were creased. assistant manager is clueless. store associates said the suits were creased because are too many suits there. called customer service twice. first time they said the store manager will call me. he only comes in certain days. store manager didn't call me. called customer service second time. they said supervisor from corporate would call me. that didn't happen. i guess you gotta accept what you can get. read more

The only star in this review came from Vick, who saved the day for me after the biggest debacle in suit purchasing history!! I purchased custom shirts in January of 2019 and received half of the order and didn't receive the other half because my sales associate fell sick (this was the reasoning) and that they'd give me a gift card to replace the other 2 shirts and would call me when the other 2 arrive. Solid compromise, I accepted it. Fast forward to October, I'm preparing to get a custom suit for my brother's wedding in mid-December. I decided with 2+ months in advance of the event and a 3-4 week turnaround time, I'd have the suit in plenty of time with a white custom dress shirt.... if you've read this far, you know where this is going... After multiple calls starting the day before thanksgiving and finally getting through to someone at the store who says THEY HAVE NO RECORD OF MY ORDER!! I'm asked for a receipt, which I always have emailed to me And search for, my associate never sent it! I was asked to provide a bank statement to the corporate customer service to prove I'd been charged for it. AMEX was happy to prove that to them, I was told I'd get a call back... still waiting on that... At this point I'm panicked, I need my suit. I can't get one off the rack in the color I need. I finally return to town to this specific store today DECEMBER 6th, 2019 in hopes there is a mistake. That's where Vick comes in, he saves the day. He finds the suit, in the store! He also finds those 2 shirts I'd ordered close to a year prior! No white shirt, though... Vick does the final sizing and guarantees it'll be done before the close of business. He was right, it was. I finally got my suit. While I like the clothes here and the custom clothing line, the amount of unnecessary stress brought on by an incompetent, careless sales person will keep me from ever returning. There are too many options out there that provide better quality and convenience to put myself through this again. Vick and Yelp are the only reason this place gets A star, otherwise it'd just be No Stars. BUYER BEWARE! read more

We originally went to Men's wearhouse and were told we only had one option for a gray suit and the salesman wasn't listening to us. Staff is friendly and helpful. I've never found them to be pushy. The selection and quality is good, but I prefer to shop online in the clearance section and then bring the items here to have them tailored. That's a good way to save money. I've found $695 suits in the clearance section on their website for $99. They're very easy to deal with on returns if you don't like something or it doesn't fit quite right. If you ordered it online, you can return it at the store and avoid having to ship it back. read more

Just about the only place that Hubs will buy suits/shirts/ties. The selection is excellent on all men's attire - including casual shirts, sweaters and pants - but there's no doubt they rule in suits. In addition to the selection, Jos A Bank has outstanding service. Every associate we've encountered has been courteous and helpful without being pushy. This location has several regular customers - and when you come in, it's easy to see why. In addition to clothing, they have a good selection of shoes- casual to dress. It's not a large selection but well curated for not only style but quality. The price point at Jos A Bank reflects the quality of the merchandise but they also have regular sales in which the prices are deeply discounted. This is a much better destination than the mall...while department stores will have some suits, it's not worth the hassle to fight through the mall traffic/parking for a limited selection with limited service. The knowledge and experience of the associates at Jos A Bank combined with the quality and selection keep us coming back. read more

Above and Beyond isn't enough to say for the service I received today. I went in to pick up a suit that I had in for alterations. While there I told my tale of owe to Tafari while he listened patiently. In short, in late October my wife had purchased online two sports coats and a blazer for my Christmas present. When they arrived we realized that a mistake in size was made on our part. We took them to the North Point Jos. A. Bank in Atlanta and they returned them to their warehouse for exchange. When they arrived a second time the size was still not correct. I assumed that since almost three months had passed that I would receive neither an exchange or refund. After getting my suit, Tafari told me that I had assumed the worse too quickly. Jos. A. Bank was more than willing to exchange them and Arron made certain that I had two exact matches, with a third jacket for the one they didn't have in my size that I liked even better than the original that was ordered. I was taken by surprise that a company as large as Jos. A. Bank would not hinder it's staff with time limits and rules in regard to exchanges and refunds and allowed them to do everything possible to ensure that my needs were met. It's because of people like Arron and Tasari, and the quality of their product, that I will continue to shop at Jos. A. Bank in the future. read more

AVOID!! (Hard to for special events but try to find another location) I have given this location my business many times and I have been disappointed every time. 2 years ago I bought 2 suits from this location, they lost them in shipping. When they found them, they had cuffed the slacks even though I asked them to keep them flat. Their solution was to just rip the stitches from the cuffs and leaves the holes and extra fabric on the pants. When I complained, they told me I could take them to a tailor.... I spent $600 on custom suits from them?! Next was an issue for a wedding. I got sizes for a suit there and the gentleman was very rude. I then asked about changing the Pick up location so I could get the suit in Florida for a wedding. The gentleman was upset I wanted to change the location and was very reluctant to help me. It is now 3 days before the wedding and I have been on the phone with this location as well as 2 others trying to get my suit. Turns out it has been sitting in Alpharetta the whole time (not altered correctly), even after they have claimed it was not there and they didn't know what happened to it.... a nightmare as far as wedding planning goes. Again, it's hard to find places to get suits for events. However, based on the continued lack of customer service and just plain disregard for completing the job correctly, I would steer clear of this location in particular! read more

Steer clear if you can, Sean Robinson "manager" at the location allows his staff to bad mouth customers while he stands by and instigates confrontation. Bad service, old guy named Paul could care less when I walked in looking for an exchange of something I bought online...didn't greet me i had to approach him to talk to him to start the process...sad this place is mildly busy...felt like I was profiled when I walked in and ignored the entire time...the store manager, Tafari, came over and helped me after I asked when I could get some service. He was super helpful and helped me buy some jeans. I might be back now but initially the service was horrible. Be careful service levels here are inconsistent. read more
