While she was doing my root canal, she made sure I was comfortable and kept checking in on me. I didn't feel a thing while she worked on me! I had a root canal at another office about a year ago, and it was painful because the dentist was rough. But this doctor took her time and ensured everything was perfect. The temporary crown was great, and the permanent one was done flawlessly--I couldn't even feel it when I closed my mouth. She's truly an incredible doctor, and I'll keep coming back to this office as long as they accept my insurance. The staff was also fantastic and attentive. I give them a 10 out of 10!

I stopped by to get x-rays and have my teeth exam and I was getting ready to hear a lot of bad news. Knowing that I had not visited the dentist in about 8 to 10 years I knew that there would be work that would be needed to be completed.. The dentist was very helpful with letting me know the severity of it, but at the same time showed optimism and made me feel comfortable. Not only are we looking into the repairment of my tooth but also he explained to me the things that would be needed to be done in order to restore my teeth. I had plaque built up and my gums were very swollen with numbers high as fives and six which is not great and he explained to me that it would take a few appointments of deep cleaning and laser treatment in order to restore them. The appointments that I've had with them have been painless, and they have always made me feel comfortable while visiting them. This really helped me overcome my fear of visiting in the dentist and I actually do look forward to seeing them for my next appointment. Thank you Downey family dental, Dr. Nguy and the rest of the team for not only making it a seamless and positive experience, but truly helping me get my teeth restored!

The front office staff were incredibly professional and helpful . they took the time to clearly explain our dental benefits and made the entire process stress-free. The dental assistants were so kind and caring while taking our X-rays. They were gentle, friendly, and made us feel completely comfortable. Both of The Doctors ( Dr.Nguy & Dr.No) were absolutely wonderful! not only knowledgeable and professional, but also hilarious! There was a fun little rivalry between one being a proud alum of UCLA and the other from USC which made the visit even more enjoyable and hilarious . You can tell they genuinely care about their patients and about the work they do. Overall, such a positive experience. I came in, filled out my first timer paper work, and was called to the back within five minutes. The two dental assistants were very friendly and the Dr did a great job. From the gate I was met by friendly warmhearted people who answered any question that arose. The X-ray tech made me feel comfortable and relaxed with just the right touch of respect, friendliness and intrest. The dentist had the energy of someone passionate about her work. She performed all the proceeders with a touch of gentleness, precision, energy that sought to get to the root of my troubles at any costs in spite of how much I could pay etc. And besides all that they were beautiful people who exudes the smell of roses lol. I hadn't been to the dentist office in a while due to a bad experience so a chipped tooth brought me here! The staff is so friendly and explained everything in detail! They saw how anxious I was but worked with me through the process, made me feel like they were one of my friends! Dr.Farag was wonderful and I almost fell asleep when he was working on my tooth! The visit did last a couple hours so one of the staff members got me a smoothie and I'm insanely grateful for that! I made an appointment after seeing the reviews over yelp were positive and they were all correct. I…read moremade an appointment over the phone and was scheduled for a Monday at 5. I arrived earlier and they were able to see me pretty quickly. They were all very friendly and the doctor was able to fill my cavities and give me a cleaning all in the same visit. I recommend this office highly. I hadn't seen the dentist in a while and now I will definitely go more often to this office. Thank you!
