Yes, I know it's probably not the most authentic Mexican food, but when it comes to comforting Tex-Mex, I think they do a good job and you can always count on crispy tacos, hearty enchiladas, and plenty of tasty chips and salsa. This was my first time at the Wichita location, but we decided to meet here with my sister and her family as they have a really great kids menu (which is also super affordable), and we like the food. Our visit here was great, the server was SO nice, the kids had a great time, and we all had a tasty meal for a reasonable price. I'd 100% return next time I'm in Wichita. read more

The chips and salsa were really good and tasted very fresh. The espinaca was terrible... the taste and consistency felt like it came out of a jar and was barely warmed up. The margaritas were terrible, literally a glass of sour mix - I couldn't drink it. BUT our tacos were really good - we got the elote steak and carnitas tacos. Very tasty. My rice was bland. The food was good. Salsa is a little too much tomato taste Chips are fresh Our server Julian was great. The women's restraunt was disgusting ! There was bloody remnants from someone as well as poop by another. The sink was wet and dirty. I let the hostess know & they were going to tell the manager. 30 minutes later when I went in nothing had changed. I requested the manager & he assured me it would be taken care of right away & that no one had informed him. I waited a bit more only to find that the only thing they had done was flush one toilet. Nothing else had been attended to. I asked for the manager again & he said he would get to it when he could. There is no excuse for this type of environment. It's clear that some of the staff there is lazy and doesn't care. The manager should have made sure the bathroom was clean! read more

We eat here often and it's usually a win! The last visit however, was horrible. Our server ignored us for 20 minutes or so until she brought us water. No chips or salsa. We made our order all at once to speed things up. 10-15 minutes later still no chips, no salsa, no drinks. Server then asked our order again to "verify" it though she wrote it down already. Came by a third time to verify order. I asked for a manager and he was GREAT! He got the ball rolling. They gave us extra everything and they covered for the entire meal. Server was polite and pleasant after that, but in a very sarcastic way that was even more frustrating. Times are tough, money is tight. That's not a way for me to want to spend my dollars there, and I have spent dollars and good tips there!!! Next meal won't be there. We were traveling all day. We were tired and needed food. We were delighted to have Jenny as our server. She suggested some of her favorites off the menu. The items she suggested were top notch on flavor and the serving sizes were perfect. Her customer service is excellent. This place was amazing!! It has great good, great service! We drove into Wichita and stopped by for dinner. It was happy hour from 3-6 and got two good size margaritas for $10. The staff was wonderful and so friendly. We eat at 4:30/5pm and it was not busy. The chips and salsa was delicious. They gave us each out own bowls. The main dish was fantastic. The chips and salsa are super addicting! They are always hot and thin. What I really enjoy about the salsa is the cilantro! The first time I went I ordered one of the combination dinner dishes. It had a cheese enchilada, carnitas tamale, and a beef crispy taco! My favorite was the carnitas tamale with roasted green chile sauce. Everything was hot and fresh. On a more recent visit, I ordered the corona shrimp tacos. There were a 3 huge cerveza battered shrimp. I needed something extra. More spiced lime sauce? Salt? Service was good. You can tell the summer crew was in training as many of the of the waiters had a partner in crime. read more

We did the lunch special here s a few weeks ago have had it many times over the years, it was 1:00 pm and not many people there. We were e seated fast and chips and salsa hit the table very fast and we ordered the polo magnifico and it took a long time to get out. Well when we got it it must of sat under the heat lamps for a long time, the person that bright it out was not our server and told us it was very hot, could not touch it for 15 mins and the cheese was burnt and stuck to the plate the rice was dried out like a meteor that burned up on entering the atmosphere. The food here is always good. We always sit at the bar and it is pretty Gross. We always go at 11:00 so we are the first customers. The counters are dirty We can see the coolers from where we sit and they haven't been cleaned in probably 6 months because we go there often and we notice. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated as half of the restaurant wasn't being used due to not having air conditioning- when we asked the waiter he said it hadn't worked in about 6 months. When the waiter came to get our drink order, it took him about 15 minutes to actually bring our sodas. Then after ordering the kids slushes, he returned telling us the machine was broken. We asked multiple times for salt and our food was not great. Ordered the mahi bowl but wasn't aware it came with a bottle of dressing on top. Used to be one of our favorite places to eat. Has seriously gone downhill the last few times we have visited. The place is disgustingly dirty. At the time we visited there were very few people but there was trash, food, and even a few cloth napkins all over the floors. Not sure if the pictures will do it justice but i have attached a few. The booth we where we sat had old food in the window which had drawn ants and other insects. All this was before we ever saw the waiter. It was 10-15 minutes before he came to the table and then couldn't even get drinks correct. Came back to the table 3 different times just to figure them out. We had to ask 4 separate times to get salt, several more times to get our espinaca. We ordered three entrées, two of which were incorrect when brought to our table. One was fixed but the other we ended up chalking up as a loss and finally just removed from our ticket. One other thing where was the manager? In the 1.5 hours that we were in the restaurant the manager was nowhere to be seen, never stopped by our table even will all the problems, never walked through the dining room, certainly never checked the restrooms as they were in bad shape as well. Excellent service! Great happy hour options. Not a huge fan of the ground beef crispy tacos as they lacked flavor but the beans were great and the rice was good, however a bit heavy with chili powder seasoning. My husband enjoyed the crispy chicken tacos. Queso tasted like velveeta but I like velveeta. I'd give 3 stars for food and four for service and price. read more

This place is absolutely amazing. My wife and I stop and get food to go every time we are in Wichita. Saturday we went to eat for my son an early birthday dinner and it was fantastic.
