My most favorite dentist ever! Everyone in the office is super super nice. Always has a smile on their face and makes great convos. I love they they get to know you. They remember your last convos, this makes it all the more personal experience. This is a super late post, I discovered Dr. Weber over 5+ years ago via Yelp. Although some of the reviews were not too nice for some reason I decided to give it a try anyways. They have been amazing to me. In the past 7 years I've have multiple cavities filled, My wisdom tooth pulled and braces all done in office. It's so convenient! Merly is the receptionist, I love love hearing her voice! Took me a while to write this review but after numerous apt at another dentist, I feel like my experience with the braces I received here, should be shared to avoid any other people from dealing with this. The ladies working here are very sweet and I always had a great experience coming in. However the work that was performed was terrible. I got fast braces here to close some gaps on the bottom teeth and align a couple of teeth on top. 1 year and 4 months later my braces were taken off with some result. I was told this is the best that can be done because of my age( 32 years old) . I trusted the expert advice, even though my logic told me otherwise. I received a permanent retailer in bottom. Fast forward to my follow up cleaning ( at my usual dentist) they were shocked at my teeth conditions. Not only had they never seen a permanent retainer without wiring, they couldn't understand how such minimal cosmetic work wasn't fixed through 1.4 years of braces. I was heart broken. I have now spend thousand of dollars to undo the poor Job I received here. I have constant teeth pain on my bottom teeth from the shifting that's happening due to the poor retainer fixture. My top teeth have all shifted even though I wore retainer and night guard that was provided to me. Just a terrible experience with my braces and a very expensive lesson learned. read more

You are welcomed with the Aloha spirit as soon as you walk in and leave with a better brighter smile. The day before I saw Dr. Weber, I was involved in an accident. I was driving my electric scooter and fell on the cement face first. The damage was to my lip, nose, and broke my front two teeth. I was really worried about my teeth the most. I called the dentist right away when it happened. I made an appointment with her secretary. She said we can take you immediately tomorrow morning. Her location is very convenient right off the 101 freeway in San Francisco. Right when I walked in I felt at ease. The secretary was very helpful because I couldn't write with my right arm due to my accident. She filled out all my information for my insurance. They were very fast in assisting me. As soon as I finished with the paperwork, Ashley her young assistant, greeted me and I followed her into one of the rooms. My first impression of dentist Dr. Weber was she very professional and very easy going. She made me feel right at home. I usually hate going to the dentist, but she was so nice, warm, and trustworthy that I wanted to make her my regular dentist. Dr. Weber and Ashley worked on my teeth for over two hours. They both asked frequently how I was doing and is everything ok. I felt safe knowing both were watching me. After two hours of fixing my teeth she gave me a little mirror and she wanted to know what I thought about my new teeth. I looked into the mirror and my smile looked like a MILLION BUCKS! I was so enthusiastic about my new beautiful teeth that Dr. Weber and Ashley gave me. Thank you Dr. Weber, Ashley, and your staff for everything especially for your hospitality. I would definitely recommend your services to anyone. They actually take excellent care of their patients, and go out of there way to make you feel comfortable. WRONG COST ESTIMATE for one (dental office does not work with insurance properly, in fact after calling my insurance provider they didn't even receive an estimate and it's been a MONTH) second - very inconsiderate. after waiting for an hour - my dr - dr weber - did not show up. another dr performed a procedure. low quality of her work caused problems and discomfort, eventually making me return. dr weber's office kept on sending me bills a few times every week, despite of the receptionist assuring me that all payments are up to date. very disrespecting, confusing and awkward experience. had to leave it here, because unfortunately it is just like that :( summing up: i could write loooooong story about all of my 3 visits, but what's a point? don't go there...at least i'm not going to.... read more

I, like several others on here, had a miserable experience. This office will try to perform unnecessary procedures and has terrible bookkeeping practices. (Together, a nasty combination.) And they cannot seem to manage their appointments. I got three "appointment reminder" calls for random times I never scheduled. Not sure why that happened. The first time I went to this office, I was told several of my fillings were falling out. That's funny, because I had never had a filling before! The dentist's response was"simply Oh." She also mentioned that since I had worn braces, my teeth were very difficult to work with. Also funny, because many people have braces. The major issue I had was being told I had six cavities, which the doctor proceeded to fill without informing me. Next thing I know there's a needle in my gums and she's starting to drill into my teeth. I actually had them stop mid-procedure when I had the guts to because I knew I needed a second opinion. When I went to see my former dentist, sure enough, no cavities. read more

I happened to live close to this office, and it also turned out to be in my provider network. My appointment was scheduled for 10 am. I arrived a few minutes after 10 and had to wait for an hour. Wait but there is more. I didn't bring my insurance card and asked whether they could look it up using my ssn. The lady at the counter who failed to acknowledge me to begin with even though I was a new patient said she was not the biller and that she doesn't know. I asked her who was the biller. Another lady came out and took my information to see whether she could look it up. After about 20 minutes she came back and told me that the biller won't be back until 11:30.... I spent an hour in the waiting room to have this news delivered to me. She asked me did you still want to be seen today or do you have somewhere to be? Basically the first interaction upon my arrival was terrible. Unprofessional. I was not asked anything. The waiting room was empty and when I walked in, the receptionist kept doing what she was doing and pretending to not see me until I started talking. I think this was a sing from above to never come back again, especially after I read the reviews about their shady practices. Frankly based on the attitudes I am not surprised. read more

When my close friend moved his office outside of the bay area, i had the daunting task of looking for a new dentist. I tried a couple of places but finally settled on Dr. Weber. She shares her office with my pediatric dentist, Dr. Romeo Floresca. When I go to Dr. Weber to see her for cleanings and what not she always makes sure i'm comfortable and is very detailed when explaining exactly what she is doing. Such a friendly staff! They allow my husband + I to make joint appointments to accomodate our schedules which is huge for us! I can honestly say that our teeth have never been cleaner after our 6 month check ups. The only issue we have is that our second time there, they treated us like new patients until I corrected them and said, "we've been here before." They also alerted me that my insurance wasn't accepted the first time, therefore my first appointment was never paid for. Why did it take 7 months for me to hear about this? It took me awhile to write this review but I have to say I am very disappointed. In the beginning I went in for a dental cleaning and then they tell me my metallic fillings are bad for me and that I should remove because it contains Mercury. They told me that Mercury is known to cause Alzheimer and Parkinson diseases. I was like "sure, I will do the procedure because I don't mind a couple of hundreds bucks to stop me from having good health." Oh boy I regret it since then!! They took out my metallic fillings and replaced it with ceramics. The right side of my mouth is fine and the left wasn't. I called back immediately and they redo my bite. I still told them that when I chew on my left side it hurts. And when I drink cold water water it hurts. So they redo the third time. After a thousand dollar spent. It still hurts!! So guess what!? It turns out to be my far back tooth that hurts. Not my second back tooth. All I know I was feeling pain on my left side. I don't know where exactly but shouldn't the dentist figure it out. Well I visit the office for two more times and I was about to have just enough. I looked up my condition and find myself a specialist (Endodontists). Now this has been fourth months into the story. The specialist told me it was a root canal issue and that I have a cracked tooth syndrome. That is why when I drink cold water it hurts. He did the root canal cost me another $1,500 and then schedule me another doctor to my fillings and crowning. One tooth cost me thousands. Thousands!!! The moral of the story for Doctor Weber is if you can't or not positive just refer me to a specialist. Don't make me go through four months of pain. Another moral of the story is don't do metallic feelings in the first place so I don't have to change to ceramics. And if you are to do fillings, you might as well find the best. how much am I willing to pay for a healthy tooth? Apparently $3,000 to & $4,000. All I need is an honest dentist. If you can't figure don't tell me it might get better over time. Cause it haven't. read more

Came to Dr. Weber for my daughter's braces, when we started the process the office (Merly and Dr. Weber) seemed so nice and friendly not for long. After applying my daughter's braces they let us know she would be in her braces for 6 months only. I thought that sounded strange since my daughter's teeth were in bad shape, but none the less put our trust in Dr. Weber. Fast forward months during my daughter's monthly care for her braces, Dr. Weber never saw my daughter to check on her braces or change wires and bands; she always had students do the work which many mistakes were done and no update was ever given as to how her teeth are moving and if everything is going good.. When we came to ask the update on our daughter's teeth vague information was given. Also we never received statements showing what our insurance was being billed for. Merly (front office) and Dr. Weber don't ever seem to care about my daughter's care and all they wanted was MONEY!! You don't have any right to ask my child for payments since WE are responsible for her. After speaking to Merly and questioning the work that was done on my daughter, she didn't care and continued to ask for MONEY! They would no longer see my daughter unless I made payments, which were being made by my insurance and co- insurance from myself. I went to have a 2nd opinion consult with a Orthodontists in Noe Valley. The information he had given us was unbelievable to what Dr. Weber's Office did to my daughter's teeth. Dr. Weber removed an important tooth of my daughter's and becasue of this causing for her teeth to be uneven and under-bite which she NEVER had to begin with. Also, she has a impacted tooth in gums that needed attention before moving on to braces. She also needed to have cavities filled before braces. I couldn't believe that I trusted Dr. Weber's office with my daughter's dental care. Now we have to start all over again and hope that they can help with the under bite Dr. Weber's office caused by their negligence to care. I wouldn't trust this office at all. They very unorganized, not keeping up with how clean their office should be and very poor staff. GOOD LUCK! read more

I love my new dentists office! Josephine Weber and her staff are excellent. They are very affordable, have a clean office, and they provide a very welcoming atmosphere. The receptionist is so friendly and helpful. My hygenist Andrea did an amazing job. She was very gentle and my teeth looked great after their cleaning. I would highly reccomend them to anyone. I will be going back soon to get my teeth whitened and am now a life long patient! The extra bonus is you get a floss keychain and a really nice colgate toothbrush at the end of your visit! Friendly staff and good dental recommendations. The only reason why I did not give 5 stars is because the hygienist had to bounce from me to another patient in the middle of my teeth cleaning. My co-worker recommended me to Dr. Weber after having a not so great experience with my current dentist I thought I would give it try. My current dentist referred me to an oral surgeon to get my 4 wisdoms removed instead I went with the one stop shop at Dr. Weber's office. She got all four out in no time. She also made sure I was comfortable. It was a no nonsense atmosphere she looked at my teeth and has given me hope for a nicer smile soon. I am on day two of recovering from the extractions and my face is not very swollen and I have managed the recovery pain well with the prescriptions she recommended. I'm not a kid anymore so I thought recovery would be bad that's not so. I hope to add to my review soon once I get my 6 month braces and my teeth whitened. Not sure what the quality of the work is YET, had some major and some minor work done here, so I guess we will see (it's been one year since). But what I absolutely DID NOT like here is that I'm told one thing one day, and another thing another day. It's unclear to me how they handle finances at all. Sometimes I get large bills, and then it turns out I don't actually owe that kind of money. They are not good at watching out for your interest as a patient in terms of when it's better for you to get cleanings (whether you've had too many in one insurance billing cycle, etc). In the end, because of this unclear what's-what, I've ended up paying over $2K extra for dental work. If they were a little more helpful about accommodating me and my insurance, instead of just trying to squeeze all the service they can possibly squeeze out of me, I'd save that money.. Also, when putting in the bridge, Dr. Weber promised it'd match my teeth color. It didn't, it was whiter, so she said I'll get a free whitening, which I never did. Also, they charged me the same amount for a 3-unit bridge as they did for a 2unit bridge with a metal wing. And their prices are NOT low, they are exactly average. Will not be crying my eyes out if I never come back here. read more

Highly recommended! Their prices were very, very affordable and the entire staff was so sweet and friendly. They did an amazing job repairing a tooth that I'd shattered in a fall. Dr. Weber does cosmetic dentistry, so she spent a great deal of time making sure that the replacement was not only comfortable, but that it looked good too. While she was in there, she also got rid of some really bad tartar I'd built up and smoothed down a few jagged or rounded teeth. There was some discomfort in the area that wasn't drugged, obviously, but she and her assistant were very meticulous and careful. Going to the dentist is never a pleasant experience, but they had such a caring attitude that it helped a lot with the discomfort. It didn't at all seem like they just wanted me in and out as fast as possible. They really gave their best efforts to help rectify a situation that I felt was very embarrassing and scary. read more

dr webber is a nice person ans her staff is friendly, but the truth of how they run their business is really the worst! I had a few metal fillings replaced with new composit material. later i had to have one of these fillings replaced due to the bad work done. my wife had the same problem with having to have a filling replaced after going to another dental office. This was disapointing, but not the worst part of my experience with dr webber, whoever was running their accounting was so stupid that it is beyond beliefe. I had to wait almost 6 months to get my first bill for work performed, i paid that bill thinking that my due balance was paid in full, to my dismay over 2 years later i received a second bill for work, they claimed that it was not their fault for the bill being presented to me 2 years after service.... so i then paid 175$ in cash ,,,,, big mistake, because 1 and a half years later i received a bill for 269 $, wondering why i called them and was told that they had no record of my prior payment and that i would need to produce a receipt to get credit for the payment,,, never pay them in cash, unless you want it to disapear into thin air. They claimed that it was not their fault for the billing timeline to be delayed over 2 years.... did not matter to me... overall i have been so angry that i had to deal with being unaware of owed bills from this office. and being told that it was not their fault... really they never owned up to being the reason why my ordeal with them lasted years after the shotty work was done. i would recomend pulling your own teeth with rusty pliers before going to see dr webber or having to deal with their horrible accounting practices. read more
