My dad and I stopped in to inquire about parts to restore a 1973 Suzuki 185TS. Randy was super helpful, talked to us for about 20 minutes. Gave us suggestions, pointers and advice. There were a few parts he could get us but was more helpful with his knowledge about the process. If I have to buy any parts I'll go through him and look forward to talking to him again. We had been using their company for 15 years. When we called to get our ATVs in in early May, they said they were no longer taking reservations, but we could bring them in and we would be next in line. They left my ATVs that have been stored in a garage out in the sun until August 20 when we found someone who could work on them this week. That is four months of sun exposure for my well cared for ATVS. When we picked them up, their remark was that they could tell I wasn't happy and they told us it would be a wait. Had the privilege of doing business with Josh for some suspension set up, as well as lacing up a set of rims for flat tracking. As soon as I walked into the shop I was greeted with welcoming conversation as well as undoubtable knowledge. I have been riding, racing, and working on bikes since I was 4. At no time did I feel like the Mott's were pulling my chain or trying to just make a quick buck. They were straight forward about their work and prices. They also were very efficient. So, imagine (if you will) the summer of 2014. That summer was awesome and should have been packed with riding time. Not for this guy. Randy (Josh Motts father) quoted me two weeks to replace the water pump on my '93 VMAX and I pre-pay for the parts... let's fast forward 6 weeks... I call and Randy answers the phone, I ask if my bike is ready, Randy tells me he forgot to order the parts and will do it that day and gives me a ton of attitude THEN hangs up on me... (at this point, I'm a bit upset with randy) Three more weeks go by, not a single call from JMR. I finally call and ask the status of my bike (it's Randy on the phone again), I'm told "what did I tell you about rushing me?" So I replied "are you registered with the BBB? I'm sure they would like to hear about you holding someone's motorcycle hostage so you can park it out front as a display piece, the AG might like to hear about it too" at this I'm promptly hung up on and called back from a different number telling me my bike will be done in a week. 3 days later my bike was "done" and back in my hands. I ended up having to completely go through the coolant system to seal up all the gaskets and o-rings that were pinched and half-assed causing leaks (4 leaks total). Long story short: don't bother, these guys will rip you off, slack off, and do terrible work. read more

In regards to any and all negative BOGUS REVIEWS of our company JMR & RPM, we would like to say that we write approximately 400 work orders a year for motorcycle ATV & UTV repair. Out of that 400 work orders, there is always 1 or 2 customers a year that we just can't make happy so that means that we made 398 customers very happy. So I would like to thank the 398 loyal and honest customers that we served this year and we will even serve you better next year. I have never called a business and been treated with such disrespect and hostility as I was shown by JMR. I understand that they are not interested in working on my particular bike. I was calling to see if they might give me some advise regarding my old motorcycle. Rather than asking questions to possibly help me find the problem, the first thing Mr. Mott said was that my bike was the biggest piece shit that Yamaha ever produced, and that my best bet was to get rid of it, cut my losses and buy a 'real' bike. When I considered the option of selling it on craigslist he asked me to advertise in another city so he wouldn't have to waste his time dealing with the same stupid questions from the next owner! He proceeded to tell me what was wrong with it without even asking the symptoms, stating that he had seen so many of these pos's that he knew what was wrong without even looking at it. He was of course he was mistaken, as was proven by the next Yamaha expert who actually wanted to help, LISTENED to the symptoms I explained, and was able to prove Mr. Mott was dead wrong after just a few questions, and was able to help me repair my bike, because he took a few moments of his time to try to help the customer solve the problem. Mr. Mott was clearly more interested in displaying how smart he was rather than helping a potential customer. I find it hard to believe that JMR is even still in business. I strongly urge anyone needing service to go someplace, any place else. This is one company that doesn't deserve the support I usually give to local businesses. Go someplace else! read more

So frustrating. Wanted to fix my bike to sell it. Was told it would take a week and be $330. After two weeks I finally called and they said they hadn't had a chance to look at it and would call me in a week, another two weeks I called and they said they would call me in 3 days. A week later they called and said I could come pick it up. At the shop the old guy informed me it was $810! I told him about the original quote and agreement on what work was to be done and all he could say is "these things happen once we get the bike taken apart". 5 weeks without a bike and over $800 later I left feeling SOOO frustrated.
