You won't find a better place for used (and new) ski, snowboard and other winter equipment/apparel…read morein Sacramento County! I was looking for a place to get my kids ski's tuned up and Re-New Winter Sports showed up in the search. I didn't see many pics of the place on the listing so I wasn't sure of what to expect but when I went there, I was blown away. Upon walking in with my daughter, the owner (Joe) greeted us very politely and made us feel welcomed and valued. He has a ton of knowledge of all winter sports and knows his inventory very well which was quite impressive considering how much of a selection he has! I'm telling you, no matter who you are looking for, you will find something here. The selection of ski's, snowboards, bindings, boots, poles, apparel, accessories and so on was really top notch and not only that, he has some major name brand things for sale. I even saw apparel from Arc'teryx so believe my when I say that he sells some great stuff (and at a great price). Some of the used things he is looked like it's hardly even been used. I was so impressed by his inventory and what he had that I ended up getting my daughter an entirely new skiing outfit, ski's, a helmet, gloves and more. I even ended up buying some things for myself and I wasn't originally planning on buying anything but I couldn't pass up on the deals. Parents, if you have young kids that are going to outgrow things in a season or two, DEFINETLY come check this place out. He has loads of equipment and apparel for kids and teens as well. One section of the store is dedicated just to kids and would be surprised if you weren't able to find something that won't break the bank and your kid will also like. On top of the products for sale, he also offers other services including: - Rentals - Tune-ups - Waxing - Adjustments Some other things worth mentioning: - If you plan on trying on some clothing, he has fitting rooms available - Joe does purchase winter equipment such as ski's, snowboards, boots etc. - There is ample parking in parking lot - Preferred method of payment is done through Venmo I can't say enough good things about this place and highly recommend anyone to check Re-New Winter Sports. Joe is a really nice guy and really cares about his customers and making sure they are satisfied with their purchase. This is the type of business that I would be coming back to for years. Do yourself a favor and go check it out... even if you are in the area and don't need anything, I'd still suggest stopping in just to see for future use or anyone else that might need some winter sports equipment/gear. Thanks again for the great service Joe!

Always a good experience. The owner is helpful and patient in addition to being knowledgeable.read more

But a dress on a mannequin was too beautiful to pass up and I worked up the courage to ask about it. The saleswomen, Deanna (sp?) and Linda, were so welcoming & friendly. Deanna immediately started collecting her recommendations for me upon learning I was going to Hawaii soon, and put me in the dressing room with a bunch of dresses and bralettes. (She taught me about the bralette that's "worn to be seen", never heard of that before!) They were all thoughtful selections & she got me other sizes etc when I asked. I ended up buying 2 of her selections. They were also just unboxing a new product (the rose / patriotic shirt), and I snagged that as well. I loved the "personal shopper" experience!! Deanna was the best. (Side note: I came in in kinda grungy clothes/ shoes and definitely didn't look like I was about to drop some $ but Deanne treated me like royalty.) Style: majorly boho. Value: pretty great! The black floral dress I tried on & loved didn't have a tag. I figured it'd be over $100, comparing other items I was trying on (none of them were $100, but this dress just looked & felt WAY more expensive)... but it was only about $65. I definitely intend to come back again!! Great experience, great clothes & great service!

There has been a recent tragedy in the family, where her elderly veteran brother was ran over and crushed and they don't have enough money to cremate him (Mark Whorton, 61). James, the old man, came over and started looking at them. After a few minutes, he was done and asked how much I wanted to sell the first and most expensive coin for. I told him $350 which is well below the price range that this particular coin is selling for on Ebay and other coin exchange sites. When I told him that, he threw up his hands, barked "I'm not interested" and walked away. I was confused and after a second I got his attention again and asked if he had another price in mind. He came back, looked at the Greysheet and offered $210. I of course said no, so he grumbled and started complaining about how he has to deal with this every single day (which is job....) and then refused to quote the rest. I told him thank you for looking at the coins and he didn't say anything back. The next day I listed the coin on eBay and it sold within hours for $390. I am very disappointed. My family and I have spent thousands of dollars here buying silver and various coins. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back to purchase or sell. If you want to be treated rudely and ripped off, come here. If you want a pleasant experience... go anywhere else. Thanks James!
