Stopped in for lunch and were very satisfied. Quick service and the best naan I've ever had!

Note - this is for their delivered food and the delivery service. They use grubhub with free delivery and have a fairly expansive delivery menu. Ordered their vegetarian dinner for 1 sampler. Really sumptuous array of lentil soup, peas and cheeses, chick peas, cauliflower plus potatoes, yogurt chutney (raita), rice pudding (dessert), Naan, rice pilaf, and diced onions in vinegar. So this is plenty of food for one. However the minimum is $20 sans tax and tip so need to add at least one more side or app. Went for vegetarian samosas. Samosas are packed with tamarind sauce. Samosas were fresh and not retired or reheated. Everything was in order; yellow lentil soup was - well too soupy, that's about it. Ordering can take up to 70 minutes but mine was delivered in about an hour. Recommend order well in advance.

My go-to for Indian take out in the area. I can't speak to how authentic it is, but everything I've tried here has been delicious. So many great vegetarian options! The chana paneer masala (extra spicy) is my default, always with a cup of their chai.

The 1st time we ordered from their it was not the best but it was eatable and it was on par with the reviews. (Not the best) but we decided to give them a 2nd try and we ordered chicken masala, meat samosas, garlic nan, and it came with rice which I didn't order not sureif they charged me for it and we got papadum too. Everything was tasty we were super surprised it was really good. We were impressed with the amount and quality. It was like night and day from the first time. We've only gotten take out and I have not seen the buffet yet which i want to go back and check out. We will be giving them a 3rd chance to keep us as customers. And we live down the street so i do pick up and the ladies have alway been really nice.

    HORRIBLE.

I've gotten their chicken tika Masala numerous times, and it's always been great. As well as their garlic nan, very good.

The food came quickly and it was just ok. I got the chicken tika masala and it was lacking flavor.

Nice service, generous portions! Good for takeout for a quick Indian meal! The lamb in the biriyani was cooked very nicely.

Every table seemed to be enjoying themselves but no noise issues as far as we could tell. The pakoras were fresh and the mango fish very tasty. Both chicken dishes were nicely done too. Indian is one of my favorites and this was a fairly short drive from our hotel in Waltham. We made a reservation but that did not seem to be at all necessary. It was a Monday night and it was not particularly busy. We were seated right away. They featured a very pleasant dining room and we were able to secure a table by the front window. This was a great spot and added to our experience. The service was very good. We were attended to quickly and well cared for throughout our time there. The food came out in a timely manner well presented at the appropriate temperature. My colleague opted for the Creamy Coconut Chicken. I tried a bite of this and was favorably impressed. In addition, he had a Mango Lassi to which he also gave a thumbs-up. I had the Fish Curry, which I ordered at a medium level in terms of spice. It was very tasty as it had just the right amount of kick. He ordered the Garlic Naan to accompany his meal while I had my favorite type of Indian bread (my favorite type of bread period, really) Peshwari Naan. We were both happy with these choices. I also had a glass of cabernet which turned out to be a decent choice. Our final bill that included food, drinks, tax and tip was $86. At $43 per person in this inflationary time, I was happy enough with the value given the quality of the fare and the overall experience. I would be happy to make a return visit.

It came to mind when I was craving Indian food this evening and surpassed my expectations. It was quiet inside, so very easy to hold a conversation. Not overwhelming or overstimulating the way most restaurants are typically. I felt I needed to try something other than my typical tikka masala, and the waitress recommended the lamb curry. It came with a generous portion of rice, and we also ordered naan. The naan came out warm and flavorful, and my lamb was sweet, spicy, and delicious. I filled up on rice simply so I could have some lamb left to take home. Otherwise, I would have polished it off very quickly. The water is not iced, which was perfectly fine, as I prefer my water to not be overly chilled. I ordered a mango lassi to finish off my meal and it had a rich mango taste, though was thinner than most lassis I have had. This is neither a positive nor a negative; and in fact, I did manage to drink it all without procuring a stomach ache. So that is a win. Our waitress was attentive, though perhaps not friendly. She took our order correctly and efficiently and split the check for us at the end. I would most certainly return and am eager to try their other dishes.

Thai ice tea - not overly sweet light and creamy after you mix it. Green Thai iced tea - more tea flavor shown thru this version i enjoyed this too! Larb chicken - amazing dish i really liked it, only comment would be maybe the minced protein toss some bigger diced chunks in too to soak up that cr*ck sauce! Basil chicken fried rice - spicy good flavor overall and chicken was plenty. I sort of was hoping they would have the signature like basil spice "glaze/sauce" they could do like other spots for basil dishes but they did not. It's good how it is though but if i was to get crispy chicken - def would need a sauce for my taste anyways. Red curry with salmon creamy extra spicy (you can choose spice level) salmon was cooked well in here and the flavor broth went so well soaked in the white rice! Bbq pork skewers - like your friends bbq where their folks went all out. Shoot perfect drinking food. Nampla chicken wings- really good fish sauce base wings! As a viet i love this style chicken wing. Glad we went with these over the fried batter version! Free shrimp crackers while you wait. Crying Tiger and their other sister shops all do well i feel. What we ordered: -Thai Iced Green Milk Tea -Thai Iced Tea -Nampla wings -BBQ Pork Skewers -Chicken Laarb -Red Curry w/ Salmon (requested extra spicy) -Basil Fried Rice w/ Chicken The food is so good! I highly recommend this place if you like spicy. I requested for extra spicy for the red curry with salmon & I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted actually spicy! Many Thai spots I've gone to tend to not deliver the level of spicy I'm looking for, so I'm happy I was able to get it here. Salmon was cooked perfectly & the curry was delicious. We loved the basil fried rice with chicken also. Flavorful & had a nice kick. Chicken was not dry either! The chicken laarb was addictive to eat. It had the right amount of citrus & spice. Generous portion too! Nampla wings reminded me of nuoc mam/Vietnamese fish sauce wings. I personally found the wings to be a bit dry but the sauce it came with really helped. Good flavor though. Lastly, both the Green iced Thai tea & regular iced Thai tea were solid. Not the best but still good. I'm a big fan of Green iced Thai tea & not many places offer this. I always make sure to order it wherever and whenever I can find it! Overall, I'm so glad we were able to stop in for dinner at the Crying Thaiger. Their food is tasty & I recommend this spot to anyone who enjoys yummy Thai food & likes spicy! I would definitely come back again ;) Parking: street parking
